WoW MoP Classic Siege Of Niuzao Dungeon: How To Complete It?
Posted: Sep 01, 2025 Views: 87
Besides several key raids that roll out gradually, WoW Mop Classic introduces a series of complete dungeons at the start of Phase 1, serving as a primary source for familiarizing yourself with the game's lore and farming WoW MoP Classic gold.
Siege of Niuzao is a max-level dungeon, offering a relatively high difficulty level. It's likely the last dungeon you unlock in this phase. It can be completed in Normal, Heroic, and Challenge modes for increased loot.
To ensure you can complete the challenges of this dungeon and earn its rewards, we will provide a guide.
Siege Of Niuzao Basics
You must be at least level 88, and the item level requirement to queue is 393, before you can travel to Siege of Niuzao Temple to enter the dungeon. It's located west of Townlong Steppes at the coordinates /way 34.7, 81.7.
To get there quickly, regardless of your faction, visit neutral Flight Master Kite Master Yao-Li (/way 50.1, 72.0) and have her teleport you to your destination.
In addition, since the dungeon itself is max-level, you can only farm gold or gear within it and will not gain additional XP for leveling.
Quests In This Dungeon
The entire Siege of Niuzao dungeon can be roughly divided into two quests. You must complete both and kill all four bosses within both quests to fully clear them. Both quests are neutral, so no specific faction-based strategies are required.
Somewhere Inside
After entering the dungeon, you can receive this quest from Shado-Master Chum Kiu. This quest requires you to free 12 Shado-Pan Prisoners, a group of Pandaren imprisoned in various locations within Temple of Niuzao.
Take Down The Wing Leader
This quest's receiver location remains unchanged, but it requires you to kill Wing Leader Ner'onok, the most dangerous of the dungeon's four bosses - in fact, you'll need to complete three other boss battles before that.
All Bosses And Their Skills In Siege Of Niuzao
The four bosses in this dungeon have different skills and traits, which you'll need to learn to target them and protect yourself to complete the dungeon.
1. Vizier Jin'bak
When the battle begins, the boss will first create a Sap Puddle within the arena, which will gradually grow in size. The boss will then periodically summon three Sap Globules, which must be killed promptly to prevent them from merging with Sap Puddle.
Also, make sure someone in your party is always standing inside Sap Puddle to reduce its size. Throughout the battle, the boss will also cast Detonate, dealing damage proportional to Sap Puddle's size.
Because teammates trapped in Sap Puddle take continuous damage, you'll need to rotate players, and your healer must provide sufficient healing.
- Sap Puddle
- Sap Residue
- Summon Sap Globule
- Detonate
2. Commander Vo'jak
This boss fight begins after you speak with a captured Shado-Pan Prisoner. Commander Vo'jak will repeatedly send Mantids to attack you. Fortunately, Pandaren prisoners will help you deal with Mantids by placing explosives.
After defeating enough Mantids, the boss will begin to attack directly, and the entire team can engage him head-on.
- The Escaped Prisoners
- Caustic Tar
- Sik'thik Swarmer
- Sik'thik Amberwing
- Bombard
- Sik'thik Demolisher
- Unstable Blast
- Sik'thik Warrior
- Rising Speed
- Dashing Strike
- Thousand Blades
3. General Pa'valak
This boss will be surrounded by many adds. If you attack the boss directly, they will cause additional harassment, so you must first eliminate the adds.
The boss will then periodically surround itself with a shield and continue to summon Mantid adds. You need to use explosives to eliminate the adds while the boss is in the shield phase.
Once the shield is destroyed, you can continue to attack General Pa'valak directly until he enters the shield phase again. Repeat this cycle until you win the fight.
- Blade Rush
- Tempest
- Call Reinforcements
- Bulwark
- Aerial Bombardment
- Siege Explosive
- Throw Explosive
- Ground Assault
- Serrated Blade
4. Wing Leader Ner'onok
As the final boss, Wing Leader Ner'onok is naturally quite difficult. Throughout the fight, the boss will continuously inflict Quick-Dry Resin debuff on a random player.
If you're unlucky enough to be affected by this debuff, you'll need to keep moving or jumping until the debuff wears off, or you'll be encased in resin and unable to move.
In addition, twice during the fight, the boss will fly to the other side of the bridge and cast spells, forcing you to retreat when crossing the bridge to reengage the boss.
- Hurl Brick
- Caustic Pitch
- Quick-Dry Resin
- Treacherous Winds
- Gusting Winds
Dungeon Gear Rewards
In addition to gold earned during the dungeon, different bosses have a chance to drop different gear.
Commander Vo'jak:
- Bombardment Bracers
- Chestwrap of Arcing Flame
- Archer's Precision Grips
- Sightfinder Helm
