  This allows you to reload empty magazines using loose ammo after a firefight. It saves you the cost of extra magazines while extending your sustained firepower.

  For your backpack, the basic model, such as Operator Backpack, suffices in the early game. However, once you meet the requirements, be sure to acquire the Assault Backpack as soon as possible; it significantly boosts your carrying capacity and tactical flexibility.

  As for armor, always choose the best protection you can afford at your current level to ensure reliable survivability.

  Your core piece of equipment is a Level 3 Large Hammer; without it, you cannot construct the necessary Large Hesco Blocks and Mortar pit itself.

  Regarding vehicles, you need to acquire an Ural truck, load it with two Ammo Supply Pallet items, and secure an FOB kit.

  Additionally, your backpack must be large enough to hold FOB kit; otherwise, you won't be able to carry it.

  The total investment comes to approximately 16,000 Wardogs cash, while FOB kit itself provides around 1,250 building supplies - enough to get started.

  The two Ammo Supply Pallets ensure Mortar pit has a plentiful supply of shells, preventing you from having to cease fire because of a lack of ammunition just as you start making an impact.

  Once the perimeter is set, you can add a second layer of walls on the sides or rear, depending on the threat level - such as nearby building windows or hills - to prevent enemies from firing at you from those angles.

  Prioritize using Large Hesco Blocks for the walls and use sandbags only as supplements to avoid slowing down construction because of material shortages.

  You can add an airlock later; it isn't necessary during the initial build phase.

  In many cases, by the time your position in Wardogs is largely complete, you will already be generating a profit.

  

  Adding Overhead Cover to Mortar Pit

  Here is a pro-tip for construction: if you want to further increase your survivability, you can use a Recon Tower to create a covered Mortar pit.

• WARDOGS All 6 Skill Tracks Leveling Strategies and Priorities: How to Gain an Early Advantage?

  As a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter, WARDOGS eschews rigid class systems or forced playstyle choices at the start; instead, it allows you to develop your character across six distinct skill tracks.

  This means that during actual combat, you can level up multiple skills simultaneously by completing various types of missions. Your combined proficiency across these tracks determines your character's overall strength and dictates which new items you can unlock.

  From an efficiency standpoint, you don't need to max out every skill track. However, mastering the leveling strategy for each branch allows you to adapt your tactics on the fly and progress more effectively.

  Below, we outline leveling tips for the six skill branches, based on the current game environment, along with other relevant information:

  • Assault
  • Medic
  • Support
  • Recon
  • Driver
  • Pilot

  

  Assault

  This branch primarily provides access to assault rifles and their associated attachments. While assault rifles suffer less damage drop-off at medium-to-long ranges compared to SMGs, their advantage isn't immediately apparent early in the season, as most enemies lack heavy armor.

  Furthermore, crucial armor-piercing rounds are unlocked via the main skill tree rather than through Assault specialization; consequently, investing resources in this branch right now is not recommended.

  

  Medic

  This skill branch is vital in the early game, offering significant economic gains while helping your team secure victories more efficiently.

  The initial SMG unlocked via Medic branch, AMP 9, holds immense potential value. This is particularly important because progressing through other skill trees unlocks heavier armor and equipment.

  In WARDOGS, weapon weight is a critical factor; if your total gear weight exceeds your carrying capacity, you lose the ability to jog and are forced to walk everywhere.

  AMP 9 weighs 1.44 kg, whereas subsequent weapon unlocks are often heavier. Yet, AMP 9 performs well enough for standard combat needs, and its lightweight leaves you with more capacity to equip other gear.

  Beyond the essential primary weapon, Medic branch provides smoke grenades, reflex sights, defibrillators, and, most importantly, medkits, all of which are incredibly useful items during the early stages of WARDOGS.

  The medical kit is particularly useful; using it provides essential healing for both yourself and your teammates. Moreover, bandaging teammates, essentially helping others, allows you to earn extra Wardogs cash.

  

  Support

  To level up this skill track quickly, focus on destroying high-value targets during combat, such as spawn vehicles, helicopters, and armored vehicles. This yields massive XP, making it a top priority early in the season.

  To further maximize your gains, equip a shotgun after every respawn until you unlock the pump-action shotgun. Pairing it with slug rounds will give you a significant combat advantage in the mid-game.

  After respawning, you can also earn substantial XP through logistics by piloting aircraft to airdrop supply crates and materials. If flying isn't your strong suit, you can opt to transport supplies by vehicle instead.

  Next, unless you are currently building structures or using a rocket launcher, it is best to carry an IED in your third slot. While this consumes some cash, the return on investment is well worth it.

  Once your Wardogs Support branch reaches Level 20, be sure to unlock and equip Maaws immediately. Practice with it to master its mechanics and enjoy its impressive firepower.

  

  Recon

  If you prefer playing solo, this skill tree is an excellent choice. It grants access to some great gear, such as Mosin-Nagant rifle (capable of one-shot head-kills), a unique bow, and the highly lethal Claymore mine.

  The main challenge with Wardogs Recon branch is the period before you unlock Mosin-Nagant. We recommend starting with the binoculars and using them for reconnaissance scans to reach Level 5.

  Switch to the monocular as soon as you unlock it and continue scanning. Its advantage is that it takes up only half the inventory space of the binoculars, allowing you to carry it in a pocket.

  

  If your tactical vest has sufficient space, you can also bind it to a belt hotkey. Its compact size gives you the flexibility to choose to scan over shooting, significantly boosting your survivability.

  Alternatively, if you don't mind teaming up with friends, you can have them use anti-air rockets or missiles to attack helicopters. Your role would simply be to stay close to them and scan the helicopter before it is destroyed.

  If your teammates are willing, and provided they are progressing faster than you, you can also have them sell you superior gear from the ammo crates at the spawn point.

  

  Driver

  By comparison, focusing on Driver branch in Wardogs can make the leveling process quite tedious and lengthy, as you must consume a lot of time driving ground vehicles to objectives and handling resupply runs to earn steady XP.

  The first truly useful piece of gear unlocked in this branch is the armored Humvee. Driving it around strongpoints while carrying IEDs and C4 allows you to effectively destroy enemy vehicles, helping you level up further until you unlock the large supply crate.

  

  Pilot

  This is arguably the best skill tree for earning cash in Wardogs right now, as well as the fastest way to transport players and supplies to contested zones.

  To maximize leveling efficiency, we recommend unlocking Blackhawk helicopter as soon as possible. It offers extra seating and can carry supply pallets.

  It supports direct interaction within FOB radius for automatic cargo unloading, eliminating the need to manually haul ammo and construction materials from supply crates.

  Additionally, when you aren't busy with logistics runs, consider spawning a Little Bird helicopter after each respawn. Filling the seats allows you to quickly generate more income. If you transport troops to the front line and they successfully eliminate enemies, you'll earn bonus rewards.
