  Topps Now Players

  Jase Bowen

  The biggest advantage of Jase Bowen is his versatility. He has excellent defensive coverage and can play every position in both the infield and outfield. His speed and arm strength are impressive, while his remaining attributes are fairly balanced.

  Topps Now cards usually emphasize a player's recent performances, and this card's Contact vs R and Power vs R should be significantly stronger than his Live Series version, making him a comfortable option against right-handed starters.

  Kody Clemens

  Kody Clemens is naturally a left-handed hitter, and Topps Now version enhances his power-hitting ability. This card features 93 Contact and 98 Power against right-handed pitchers, along with 83 Vision, 100 Clutch, and 96 Power.

  The biggest selling point of this card is the high Contact and Power against right-handed pitchers. He is the type of hitter who can send the ball over the fence with one solid swing.

  Royce Lewis

  Royce Lewis also delivered a strong performance in the same series, hitting a walk-off triple. He appears to have regained his form recently and recorded a three-hit performance against Royals. This card is designed as a second baseman, and after returning from injury, he has experimented with multiple defensive positions, including first base.

  The attributes on this card are very solid, with excellent Contact, Power, and Clutch ratings. He has a high-quality swing, but his value is somewhat limited due to being a right-handed hitter and facing competition at his positions.

  Shawn Ross

  At this stage of MLB The Show 26, most cards already offer decent usability. Shawn Ross represents this type of card. Although he is not a top-tier option, he can definitely earn a place in a lineup. He can play catcher, middle infield, and every outfield position, making him similar to a weaker version of Cole Carrigg.

  Spotlight Players

  Chandler Simpson

  During his roughly four-year professional career, Chandler Simpson has only hit one professional home run, making power his biggest weakness. However, his speed, defense, and hitting attributes (108/107) are all at elite levels.

  He is essentially a left-handed version of Honus Wagner. Players can use his bunting ability and speed to create scoring opportunities, making him a very effective option in Ranked games.

  Troy Melton

  Troy Melton is currently one of the best pitchers in the league. With a combination of a Sinker and Cutter, he provides a free and reliable starting pitcher option with a complete pitch selection.

  His fastball velocity can reach 98 MPH, and he also has Pick Off Artist Quirk, allowing him to effectively control opposing runners.

  Andruw Monasterio

  Andruw Monasterio has maxed-out Contact against left-handed pitchers and 110 Contact against right-handed pitchers, along with 80 Vision, 106 Clutch, and 91/104 Power. His overall attributes are quite strong, although his defensive ability is slightly weaker. He is not recommended for shortstop and performs better at second base or first base.

  Ty France

  Another Twins legend joins the lineup. This year, he has been one of the best hitters for San Diego Padres, and his first-base defense has reached Gold Glove level. His hitting ability against right-handed pitchers reaches 120 Contact and 107 Power, while his performance against left-handed pitchers is also strong with 125 Contact.

  Ty France provides excellent defense at first base, but his arm strength is only 40, so placing him at third base is not recommended. His 80 Vision can have a noticeable impact on higher difficulties such as Hall of Fame and Legend, while it is much less of an issue on All-Star difficulty.

  Brent Headrick

  Brent Headrick is a pitcher who played for New York Yankees and features a four-pitch combination consisting of a 4-Seam Fastball, Slider, Sinker, and Splitter.

  He has maxed-out suppression against right-handed hitters. Although he does not have a Cutter, he remains one of the strongest new cards released this time and can immediately enter the bullpen of many players. He is highly recommended.

  Gabriel Moreno

  This 99 OVR catcher card features maxed-out Clutch and 100 Vision. With Power or Speed boosts, his Power can increase to 79-94, while his Speed can also reach above 50. His Pop Time attribute is excellent as well, making him a very strong defensive catcher.

  Lightning and Retro Lightning Cards

  David Ortiz

  The most attractive card from this event is undoubtedly 99 OVR David Ortiz card. His attributes are outstanding, featuring 120 and 105 Contact, 80 Vision, 110 Clutch, and 110 Power against both right-handed and left-handed pitchers. He is best suited for first base or designated hitter.

  CJ Abrams

  CJ Abrams' defensive rating has increased from 30 on his Live Series card to 60, which is still not considered elite in MLB 26, but it is a noticeable improvement and makes his overall performance look better.

  In terms of hitting, he has excellent numbers against right-handed pitchers with 113 Contact and 115 Power, while also maintaining solid performance against left-handed pitchers with 96 Contact and 95 Power. His 90 Speed, 120 Clutch, and 80 Vision, combined with his smooth swing animation, make him a strong card.

  However, whether he can become the starting shortstop on every roster remains uncertain, and his arm strength still needs improvement.

  Brice Turang

  Brice Turang features impressive hitting attributes with 120 Contact and 116 Contact, along with 90 Vision and maxed-out Clutch. He also has 90 Power against right-handed pitchers.

  His defense is elite, allowing him to play second base, shortstop, and almost every infield position except first base and catcher. His 86 Speed is solid, although his arm strength may become a weakness when playing in the outfield.
