6th Inning Program in MLB The Show 26 includes three free players and one 6th Inning Boss Choice Pack, meaning you can obtain four free players in total.
99 OVR Pipeline Max Clark
As Detroit Tigers' top prospect and the No. 3 ranked prospect in the United States, Max Clark has made his way to Major Leagues. This card can be unlocked early in the path, requiring only 22,000 XP.
Max Clark comes with 99 Speed, 95 Fielding, and 94 Arm Strength at base level. Combined with his smooth swing and a Power Mod upgrade, he can become one of the best outfielders in the game.
99 OVR Finest Keith Foulke
Keith Foulke is a right-handed pitcher. In a meta dominated by Switch Hitters, he has excellent suppression against left-handed batters with 125/111 attributes. Combined with his Sinker and Cutter, 92 Control rating, and unique pitching release point, he is expected to become one of the strongest bullpen options.
99 OVR Milestone George Kell
George Kell has nearly maxed Contact attributes (125/125/120) and solid defensive ability, but his power is extremely average (80 against left-handed pitchers and 66 against right-handed pitchers), which significantly lowers his overall value.
George Kell can help strengthen the third base position and also contribute toward Carlos Beltrán's collection task.
99 OVR Award Dustin Pedroia
Dustin Pedroia performs well against both left-handed and right-handed pitchers, but like George Kell, his power attributes are not impressive. His performance improves significantly after adding a Power Mod. He also has 97 Fielding, 80 Speed, and valuable Quirks such as Dead Red and Breaking Ball Hitter, making him a solid overall option.
99 OVR Signature Ken Singleton
Ken Singleton has stronger overall attributes, with 120/96 against right-handed pitchers and 109/90 against left-handed pitchers, along with 95 Arm Strength and 87 Fielding.
As a Switch Hitter, he becomes one of the best corner outfielders outside of Carlos Beltrán and Andrew Jones after adding a Speed Mod. He will likely be the first choice for many players.
Both of these Boss cards are of decent quality, but they're currently worth hundreds of thousands of stubs each. You can participate in IGGM MLB 26 stubs giveaway, and if you win, you can trade for any player you need.
How to Complete 6th Inning Program Faster?
XP Inning Path Boss
Similar to previous XP Innings, you can use some Stubs to complete 5th Inning Boss Collection. This rewards 6th Inning XP Path Voucher, which provides 30,000 XP.
If you haven't completed the collection yet, you can buy MLB The Show 26 stubs from IGGM and then acquire the missing Boss in the transfer market. The 30,000 XP will be easily obtainable.
In addition, 6th Inning Program's first Drop Mission includes five tasks:
- Strike out 10 batters (4,000 XP)
- Earn 500 PXP using Cornerstone Series players (5,000 XP)
- Record 43 total hits (7,500 XP)
- Hit 14 home runs (7,500 XP)
- Record 15 hits in online modes (7,500 XP)
Four of these tasks can be completed offline, while one requires online play. Completing the four offline missions alone provides 24,000 XP.
Spotlight Programs and Topps Now
You can enter the Optional tab of each Spotlight Program and collect these players again for XP rewards, even if you have already collected them before. Each collection provides 2,500 XP.
Topps Now series also allows repeat collections, with each one rewarding 1,000 XP. The same mechanic applies to Lightning Programs.
Keep in mind that to complete Spotlight Vouchers, you have most likely already collected these players. Therefore, these extra XP rewards can be saved and claimed whenever you need additional progress.
Mini Seasons
Each Mini Season displays its total available XP rewards, making it one of the best ways to accumulate XP.
Mini Seasons include many goals, and one of them requires winning seven games. If you set Mini Season to seven regular-season games and win all seven, you will naturally complete this objective. However, you can intentionally win only six games.
When you are ready to claim the XP, return and win the seventh game. Since the season ends with a perfect 7-0 record, you will automatically advance to the playoffs and receive additional XP rewards.
Conquest Mode
Although Conquest Mode provides fewer XP rewards than Mini Seasons, it is still worth using. Similar to Mini Seasons, you can normally capture all strongholds but intentionally leave one regular Territory uncleared, or leave one enemy unit on a specific space until you are ready to claim the rewards.
Multiplayer Program
Multiplayer Program also contains a large amount of XP rewards. If you rarely play online matches, this method encourages you to participate in online modes.
Many players enter Events and boost progress with each other. Using a secondary account is recommended because your main account has usually already completed most Team Affinity or Multiplayer Program progress. With a new account, you can save XP progress and transfer the benefits back to your main account.
Overall, MLB The Show 26 includes many Events and Programs that provide large amounts of XP. If you save these rewards from 5th Inning Program and claim them after 6th Inning Path begins, you can instantly make significant progress and unlock rewards much faster.
