Forza Horizon 6 Week 2 Challenge King of the Road: How to complete all 4 steps to unlock the rewards?

Category: Forza Horizon 6 Posted: May 29, 2026 Views: 32

As you progress deeper into Forza Horizon 6, you will unlock additional features by attaining higher Wristband tiers, Weekly Challenge being one such feature. Completing it earns you corresponding rewards.

This challenge refreshes every Thursday. Counting from the game's official launch, this marks the second week; the new challenge, King of the Road, went live yesterday.

Below, we'll walk you through how to unlock and complete this mission. Best of all? You have the entire weekend to get it done!

Forza Horizon 6 Week 2 Challenge King of the Road: How to complete all 4 steps to unlock the rewards?

How to unlock Weekly Challenges?

Forza Horizon 6 Weekly Challenge is part of Festival Playlist feature. To unlock it, you must first reach the entry-level Rookie tier, represented by Yellow Wristband, within Wristband progression system.

To do this, you need to earn at least 1,250 Wristband Points in-game. Actively participating in races or completing missions within Discover Japan series should allow you to reach this milestone quite quickly.

Beyond unlocking Weekly Challenge, reaching Yellow Wristband tier also rewards you with new cars. Furthermore, advancing your progression is, in itself, a core objective of your Forza Horizon 6 experience.

How to complete King of the Road Weekly Challenge?

While the specific objectives may vary, all FH6 Weekly Challenges adhere to a few basic mechanics, for instance, they always consist of four distinct steps and require you to drive a specific vehicle.

Additionally, completing the current Weekly Challenge earns you a fixed reward of Forza Horizon 6 Credits, as well as Festival Points that can be used to unlock further seasonal rewards.

Step 1: Unlock 1989 Nissan Silvia K's

1989 Nissan Silvia K's is the specific vehicle required to complete this week's challenge.

From a practical standpoint, it features a cutting-edge multi-link rear suspension system and a 1.8-liter engine equipped with dual overhead camshafts and turbocharging technology, capable of producing a maximum output of 173 horsepower.

Fortunately, acquiring this car in FH6 is quite simple: provided you have already completed a few races, the game system will grant it to you for free, essentially as part of a starter pack bonus.

However, given that you will need to drive this specific vehicle to complete the subsequent steps of the challenge, we recommend tuning 1989 Nissan Silvia K's immediately after unlocking it to further enhance its performance.

Step 2: Earn 3 stars in Drift Zones

There are currently approximately 20 Drift Zones in the game, comprising 10 on dirt surfaces and 10 on paved roads. These zones unlock gradually as your Wristband level increases; you can locate the specific icon for each zone on the map.

This step imposes no restrictions regarding the specific range or type of Drift Zones you use. Therefore, you are free to select any unlocked zone to complete this objective, whether it be one located close to Horizon Festival site or one with which you are particularly familiar.

It is worth noting that if you find drifting particularly challenging, to the point where achieving a 3-star rating in a single run seems difficult, you can complete this step over three separate runs, provided you earn at least one star in each attempt.

However, if you are able to achieve the required rating in a single run, you will earn additional Skill Points. These points can be invested in Car Mastery to enhance the performance of your 1989 Nissan Silvia K's, or they can be redeemed for other in-game resources.

Step 3: Win a road race

Once you have completed the drifting challenge, the third step requires you to drive your 1989 Nissan Silvia K's to victory in a road race.

To do this, you must first locate and enter any event marked with a blue icon on the map. Remember to apply filters to your map display to help you find these events more quickly.

Since this challenge places no further restrictions on the specific race you choose, you are free to select any event you prefer. However, please be aware that certain races restrict you to using only specific vehicles.

Therefore, if you wish to complete this step within such a restricted race, you must first complete the event once using any of the designated vehicles. This will unlock the custom mode for that specific race, allowing you to then use your 1989 Nissan Silvia K's.

In fact, opting for the custom event mode offers an additional advantage: it allows you to lower the difficulty settings, thereby enabling you to complete Step 3 much faster and with greater ease.

Step 4: Complete 2 runs at Festival Kilometer Drag Meet

Festival Kilometer Drag Meet is a specific event found within the game's Free Roam mode. And you should note there is also a mode in FH6 called Festival Kilometer Drag Trip, be careful not to confuse the two!

For this step, you are not required to race against anyone or defeat any opponents; you simply need to complete two full runs of the course.

To begin, drive your 1989 Nissan Silvia K's into the designated starting box. A Ready prompt will appear on the left side of your screen; simply press the corresponding button to confirm that you are ready to start.

Once the green light appears, first engage the handbrake; then, press the accelerator to activate the system. Finally, complete the full one-kilometer course to reach the finish line. Repeat this process twice, and you will have successfully completed this week's challenge.

That covers the complete guide for finishing this week's King of the Road challenge. Completing all weekly challenges in a timely manner will help you unlock seasonal rewards much faster, so get started now!
