  Therefore, if The Grounds interests you, you want a superior experience, and you are keen on playing with stars who shone at this year's World Cup, such as Mbappé or Bellingham, then FC 27 should deliver a great experience.

  Pre-order schedule

  Pre-orders for FC 27 opened fully on July 23, covering three editions: Standard, Ultimate, and the newly introduced Ultimate Plus.

  Ultimate and Standard editions are available for pre-order right up until the game's official launch on September 25. However, since Ultimate Edition includes seven days of early access (starting September 18), it is best to secure it early if you've made up your mind.

  Note that Ultimate Plus edition is only available for pre-order until August 31. Naturally, it offers the most extensive special bonuses.

  Which edition should you choose?

  If you have unlocked the latest FIFA game immediately upon release every year, you might already be in the habit of pre-ordering a specific edition. However, the addition of Ultimate Plus edition this year might give you pause, especially if your budget allows for it.

  Standard Edition

  This edition is priced at the familiar $69.99. Beyond the base game, its pre-order perks are quite limited, making it best suited for casual players who focus on offline Career Mode or The Grounds, and who aren't aiming to build a top-tier Ultimate Team squad right away.

  However, this edition offers one exclusive advantage not found in the other versions: an untradeable OVR 92+ ICON Player Item for use in FC 26.

  Additionally,Standard Edition includes perks such as Dual Entitlement (allowing you to upgrade your game version when moving to a new console, like PS4 to PS5) and player/manager boosts to help you get a head start in Ultimate Team or Career Mode.

  If you fit this player profile and are currently playing FC 26, pre-ordering Standard Edition of FIFA 27 is likely sufficient. It ensures a much smoother experience at launch compared to players who didn't pre-order.

  Ultimate Edition

  This year, Ultimate Edition remains priced at $99.99. If you are a hardcore Ultimate Team player who prioritizes competitive gameplay and doesn't want to fall behind during the early stages of the game, Ultimate Edition is an excellent choice.

  In addition to OVR 92+ FC 26 player item and all Standard Edition pre-order perks, this edition includes Season 1 Premium Pass and a bonus of 6,000 FC Points, distributed over three months.

  It is worth noting that none of the pre-order perks across any edition include Coins, unless they happen to be part of Premium Pass, and Coins serve purposes that cannot be replicated by Points or other special currencies.

  So, if you want to avoid falling behind, in addition to choosing a superior pre-order edition, it is a good idea to pre-order FC 27 coins on IGGM. This ensures you can trade on the transfer market or unlock packs in the shop without any worries.

  Before EA FC 27, Ultimate Edition also consistently enjoyed greater popularity. It not only offers more generous resources for the early game but also provides seven days of early access, allowing you to gain an advantage in the transfer market and build a head start in Champions and Rivals modes right from the launch.

  Ultimate Plus Edition

  We had originally predicted a price point of $119.99 or $129.99 for this edition, but the final price exceeded expectations at $149.99.

  Fortunately, the perks included in this version are significantly richer. If you have plenty of time to dedicate to FIFA 27, don't want to miss out on any Season Passes, and are aiming for a top-tier collection, then unlocking Ultimate Plus Edition is the way to go.

  Ultimate Plus Edition includes all the pre-order bonuses of the standard Ultimate Edition but upgrades the single Season Pass to five passes and adds 10,000 FC Points, distributed evenly over five months.

  If you also own FUT 26, FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition grants an Evolution perk usable in the previous game, allowing you to boost any player's physical attributes to 99.

  This edition also includes Hall of FUT Player Pick perk, letting you choose one of five classic fan-favorite players: Adebayo Akinfenwa, Giovani dos Santos, Loic Remy, Marouane Fellaini, or Eljero Elia.

  As EA's first attempt at a super-ultimate version within FIFA series, Ultimate Plus Edition is essentially an all-inclusive annual pass; it is a worthwhile investment for players planning to play FUT 27 intensively throughout the year.
