  In terms of gameplay, Rivalry Objectives section has been added to Player Career mode, featuring two distinct types of objectives that encourage you to engage with the game in new ways.

  For Manager Career mode, the focus has been placed on transfers and negotiations: the feedback provided during negotiations has been clarified, and the logic governing contracts and player wage structures has been refined.

  Finally, the development team noted that one issue remains under investigation: some players may still request a transfer due to a lack of playing time, even when they have already met their expected appearance targets. This is expected to be addressed in a future update.

  Ultimate Team

  Compared to Career Mode, the optimizations for Ultimate Team in Update 1.1 focus primarily on bug fixes, a necessary step, given that many aspects of this mode involve online matchmaking, where the likelihood of encountering bugs is higher.

  Beyond that, the update introduces a change long-requested by players since the closed beta phase: the duration of the reveal animations for many high-OVR player cards has been shortened.

  While pulling such a player is certainly a cause for celebration, there's no need for the reveal animation to be overly long. Beyond flashy appearances, you likely care more about whether new players can deliver tangible benefits to your squad.

  Another piece of good news: following the release of Update 1.1, your filter settings will now persist as you switch between different SBCs. These settings will remain active throughout your entire gaming session unless you close the game.

  It's worth noting that a steady stream of SBCs is being released during the current Ultimate Scream event, making this a highly effective improvement for your overall event experience.

  Ultimately, however, your ability to complete a specific SBC depends on whether the players in your club meet the requirements.

  The Grounds

• Why You Need Two Formations in FC 27 FUT Champions?

  In FC 27 FUT Champions, achieving a 15-0 or 14-1 record requires more than just high-value players; the outcome of your matches is often determined by your formation setup and your ability to make tactical adjustments on the fly.

  A good starting point is to prepare two distinct formations: one for your standard attacking play, and another specifically designed to counter opponents who use Narrow formations or pack the central areas of the pitch.

  

  Two Formations

  For your primary setup in FC 27, consider the 4-1-3-2. It offers more width than the traditional 4-1-2-1-2, making it well-suited for short-passing combinations and controlled build-up play.

  Your second option should be a 4-3-3 (with a CDM) - a more defensive-minded setup ideal for countering Narrow formations or opponents playing a 4-2-1-3.

  As mentioned, each formation serves a clear, specific purpose, allowing you to adapt quickly during a match.

  4-1-3-2 Tactical Setup

  If you have Raphinha in your FUT 27 squad, he is an excellent choice for False 9 role in a 4-1-3-2. Place him in one of the ST positions and set his focus to Build-Up.

  For the other ST position, Debinha is a great option - her value in the game has remained consistently stable. Set her role to Advanced Forward with an Attack focus.

  Assigning an Inside Forward role to one of the forwards ensures that both strikers aren't constantly making runs in behind as Advanced Forwards.

  Keep in mind that having two strikers both looking to break the defensive line simultaneously often leads to frequent offside calls. A False 9 drops deeper, creating better spacing and more effective passing options.

  In midfield, a Box-to-Box player helps bridge the gap between defense and attack, while the CDM should be set to Holding or Defender to provide extra protection for your back line. The full-backs on the flanks retain their Fullback roles.

  For your overall team settings, use a Balanced focus, with both width and defensive line depth set to around 60.

  The core of this formation isn't about overloading the attack with sheer numbers; rather, it's about maintaining short-passing lanes between the midfield and the forwards to establish a consistent Tiki-Taka rhythm.

  

  4-3-3 Tactical Setup

  Your defensive setup should always include a CDM (Defensive Midfielder), which makes it easier to adapt if your opponent consistently employs a Narrow formation.

  In this setup, you can still utilize Inside Forward roles on the flanks, with Debinha positioned as a forward.

  Your midfield should primarily consist of Box-to-Box and Holding roles.

  However, if you find yourself trailing and need to boost your attacking progression, you can switch one of the midfielders to a Playmaker role - just be careful not to compromise your overall defensive structure.

  For the backline, it is recommended to stick with standard Fullback and Defender roles.

  If an opponent frequently uses a 4-2-1-3 formation, switching to a Falseback setup without careful consideration can easily lead to defensive mismatches and confusion.

  Only consider Falseback as an alternative if you are certain that you are consistently encountering Narrow formations in FIFA 27.

  When switching formations, try to preserve your existing defensive instructions to minimize the chaos that often arises from mid-match adjustments.

  The Importance of Having Two Formations

  In the current FC 27 Weekend League meta, a 95 depth defensive line and the use of lofted through-balls are challenges that players can hardly avoid.

  In such scenarios, if both of your forwards are set to Advanced Forward, their movement becomes overly aggressive - making them easy targets for an opponent's deep defensive line or offside traps.

  A more reliable counter-strategy is to use a False 9 to drop deep and link up play, while instructing a Box-to-Box midfielder to make forward runs.

  Meanwhile, some players in Rivals employ playstyles that can be even more unpredictable than those found in Elite Division.

  They might linger in their own half, passing laterally or backward - either to waste time or to bait you into pressing, only to exploit the gaps you leave behind. This makes it difficult to win the ball back and disrupts your team's rhythm.

  When facing this kind of play, making hasty, on-the-fly adjustments to your tactics often leads to more mistakes. Therefore, having two pre-configured formations ready to go is far more effective than trying to tweak your setup in the heat of a match.

  When facing a Narrow formation, switch to a 4-3-3 defensive setup; if you frequently encounter 4-2-1-3 formations, maintain a stable structure by keeping your fullbacks in position.

  Use your primary formation to dictate your preferred short-passing rhythm, and rely on your alternative formation to address specific tactical matchups - this approach makes it easier to maintain consistency throughout your 15 Weekend League matches.

  Resource Management

  Prioritize strengthening your central midfield with versatile, all-around players. The 4-1-3-2 formation, in particular, places a high demand on your midfielders' ability to win the ball, carry it forward, distribute passes, and finish scoring opportunities.
