With less than two weeks to go until ExileCon 2026, Grinding Gear Games (GGG) recently released a Two Weeks Until ExileCon 2026 preview on its official platform, further clarifying the livestream schedule, keynote arrangements, and Twitch Drops plans.
For players of Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2, this community event will not only reveal the content of PoE 3.30 expansion but is also a key juncture for observing the future direction of PoE 2. The following is a breakdown of the confirmed information and remaining questions, organized according to the event framework.
When and Where Is ExileCon 2026?

ExileCon 2026 is scheduled to be held on November 7-8 (NZDT) at Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. This third annual ExileCon, hosted by GGG, coincides with the studio's 20th anniversary. Unlike traditional online game showcases, this two-day event brings together players, developers, and content creators for game announcements, gameplay demos, and various community activities.
For those unable to attend in person, the event can be streamed for free on the official Twitch and YouTube channels.
The keynote address is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM PST on November 6th. A half-hour pre-conference program will feature discussions with community streamers such as ZiggyD, Mathil, RaizQT, and DarthMicrotransaction, expected to last approximately two hours.
The keynote address is just the beginning of the live stream. Throughout the two-day event, viewers will also see developer presentations, game demos, interviews, and race finals.
The official announcement also confirms that the keynote recording will be available shortly after the live stream, while developer presentations and panel discussions will be released gradually after ExileCon concludes. Even without watching the full content live, players will still have the opportunity to learn about important announcements and the development team's perspectives through these recordings.
What will be announced?
The keynote is expected to be the most anticipated part of ExileCon 2026. The keynote will highlight the latest developments in PoE and PoE 2, showcasing related content through important announcements, follow-up pages, and trailers.
PoE
We currently know that 3.30 is expected to bring large-scale endgame changes, including optimizations to the map system, endgame progression and reward mechanisms, as well as changes that may affect the game's economy.
The keynote is expected to reveal the core content and specific changes of 3.30, including the aforementioned modifications, for the first time, helping players understand the gameplay direction of the new league and plan their character building and progression strategies in advance.
PoE 3.30 expansion will officially launch on November 13th, and all its details will be revealed for the first time at ExileCon keynote. This means that the 3.30 content announced at the keynote will be less than a week before players actually enter the new league, making the information density and decision-making window quite tight.
Players who want to get ahead in the new league can also buy PoE currency to speed up character development and equipment upgrades, allowing them to more easily cope with the challenges of clearing content in the fresh environment.
PoE 2

The announcement schedule for PoE 2 remains more uncertain. While the official announcement confirms that the keynote will cover the latest developments of both games, it hasn't specified what content will be announced in PoE 2 segment.
The official release of PoE 2 1.0 is confirmed for December 11th this year. Therefore, players can focus on whether the developers will further introduce the specific content of 1.0 at ExileCon 2026, including the unveiling of Duelist ascendancy classes, and the skills and builds for sword weapons.
For PoE 2, still in Early Access, the official release is not only a significant development milestone but also signifies a further increase in player expectations regarding the game's completeness, long-term content, and future support plans.
If GGG can reveal more details at this event, players will gain a clearer understanding of the changes the official version will bring compared to the current stage, as well as the future update schedule.
PoE and PoE 2 Race Finals

Racing is an important part of the ExileCon offline atmosphere, and the finalists for 2026 have been determined.
PoE finalists are:
- allexpleblord
- imexile
- MOSTPOSITIVEMAN
- Ben_
PoE 2 finalists are:
- Jiluo
- Giuygiuyg
- Jigglypuff
- Luxian
The racing finals for both games will be a key part of the event, adding a competitive element that distinguishes it from regular preview streams.
For the community audience, the appeal of speedrunning lies not only in the speed contest between players, but also in observing how top players plan their routes, handle combat, and demonstrate their operational and decision-making abilities under pressure. Campaign speedrun strategies and their meta changes remain a focus for hardcore players.
RaizQT and ZiggyD have been assigned as commentators for the qualifying stage. The commentary lineup and specific format for the finals, such as whether Act 5 Kitava race and the one-minute death penalty rule will be used, are still pending confirmation.
Twitch Drops and Other Announcements
Twitch Drops have been confirmed to launch during ExileCon livestream, but the specific reward list has not yet been announced. In the Two Weeks Until ExileCon 2026 announcement, the official statement was that it would be announced next week, accompanied by the phrase "they are very cool."
Referring to previous Twitch Drops during the qualifying stage, which included cosmetic items like Darkshard Helmet, the finals drops will likely also focus on cosmetic rewards and are unlikely to include items that affect game balance. Viewers need to link their PoE account to their Twitch account and watch for a specified amount of time on the official channel or a participating channel to claim rewards.
Regarding merchandise, the official team has previously announced over 60 new items, covering categories such as T-shirts, badges, keycaps, posters, and plush toys. For long-time fans of the series, these items are also a highlight of this offline event.
Overall, ExileCon 2026 will not only reveal the core changes in PoE 3.30 but also provide players with an important window into the plans for the official release of PoE 2. As the event approaches, further announcements, the speedrun finals schedule, and details about Twitch Drops rewards are worth keeping an eye on.
