Elden Ring: How To Build The Best Overpowered Strength Build In Patch 1.09.1?

Posted: May 25, 2023

I’ll show you this interesting build I created recently that involves some things that have been updated, such as the recent patch 1.09.1.

Considering that they actually increase the stat scaling, they also increase the speed range and recovery time of these attacks. So Greataxes have actually improved a lot. So let’s jump right in and discuss what weapons you need to get this build.

Elden Ring: The Best Overpowered Strength Build In Patch 1.09.1

Ashes Of War

We’ll start by talking about Ashes of War that this build requires. If we go in the direction of Stormhill Shack from here, then go north. You should see some enemies in the distance pass by them.

Then turn left now and you should see a Scarab in the distance which you need to take out. Then, once you’re done, you can open it up and receive a surprise, which is a Wild Strike.

Then you continue on to Fort Gael, the second Ashes of War you found. After we pass Chariot, keep going south. There’s a guy in the distance with a bow, and he’ll shoot some arrows into the sky. You jump to the right quickly. These attacks are simple to avoid.

Elden Ring: Ashes of War Wild Strike Location

Soon you will be able to see the castle, but it is locked and the only way to do it is to jump to the left. So you’re lying on this root, and then you can climb up the ladder. Once you’ve made it all the way to the top, you should see some enemies directly ahead.

You need to watch out for a beast here, kill it. Then you should get Ashes of War called Lion’s Claw. It’s a pretty good Ashes of War, and it’s capable of doing quite a bit of damage.

Talismans

Then we can move on to Talismans. From here, we head to Stormveil Castle. You will see that part of the castle has been destroyed. From here, you can jump to the top of the ledge and walk around.

But you need to be vigilant at all times, because they can shoot you at any time. However, if your health is good enough, you can go all the way here and pick up Claw Talisman at the very top.

Elden Ring: Claw Talisman

The second Talisman you can find in Saintsbridge. You’ll be able to find Warrior Jar Shard here. If you complete the whole quest, especially Crumbling Farum Azula. You’ll be able to get an upgraded version of this Talisman, Shard of Alexander. This Talisman can greatly improve your skill attack.

The third Talisman you can find in Altus Plateau. Here you should see a boss. But don’t worry, this boss is easy to beat. Then you can directly open the door. In this chest, you can find this Ritual Sword Talisman.

Best Armor

Last but not least, we need to talk about armor. I suggest you guys head over to Sage’s Cave, then you should see Sites of Lost Grace that you can interact with.

Elden Ring: Best Armor Raptor’s Set Location

Then, you keep exploring, and you’ll find some chests and some loot on the ground. This chest will contain Raptor’s Set, which really boosts your attack damage while jumping.

Of course, there will be some enemies here, especially those Skeletons. So you really want to make sure you hit them once they’re on the ground. Because if you don’t, they will come back to life.

The Build

So now let’s talk we also need to equip two Executioner’s Greataxe for this build. You can also equip Cold Affinity or one of Greataxes.

When you use your abilities, you benefit from Warrior Jar Shard, which increases your damage by 10%. Of course, if you use Shard of Alexander, this will increase your attack by 15%. Claw Talisman then increases your jump attack by 15%.

Elden Ring: Best Strength Build Guide

Ritual Sword Talisman also deals 10 damage while your health is ramping up. So that being said, my suggestion for this build is that you use two wielding Axes, then switch to Ashes of War. It’s a really fun build to build once you get the hang of swapping weapons in and out.

Finally, don’t forget to prepare some consumables in advance. You can get them with Elden Ring Runes, which will make your build process go more smoothly. Surprisingly, you can also use the code “CSCCA” to get 5% off. Try it out!
