The planet Arrakis created by Dune Awakening is a desolate and cruel world. Here you can’t enjoy the rich natural resources and convenient modern technology like on Earth, but must rely on adventure to collect survival resources.
Later, as the game progresses, you can further process these materials with the tools you make based on the basic materials. But you will find that there are many types of materials, and the uses and methods of obtaining different materials are also different.
In order to help you better manage your resource library in Dune: Awakening and master the farming methods of all materials as soon as possible, this time we will first introduce you to the relevant knowledge of Erythrite Crystal.
What Is Erythrite Crystal?
This item is a level 3 loot, and its origin is Erythrite deposit in Hagga Rift. It can be processed into Cobalt Paste in the chemical refinery as a raw material for making other products, such as off-road vehicles or advanced equipment.
If you plan to build vehicles or complete more difficult challenges in the later stages of the game, it is best to stock up on as many Erythrite Crystals as possible when you have time. Even if there are any left over at the end, you can sell them in exchange for currency.
How To Get This Item?
In general, there are two ways to get Erythrite Crystals. One is to rely on your own efforts to farm, and the other is to trade directly at the vendor. We will introduce them one by one below.
Direct Trading
All major zones in the game, including the starting tutorial zone, have a trading post where merchants will receive you. Whether you want to trade items or sell your excess resources to earn Dune Awakening Solari, they will accept it.
It currently takes about 15 Solari to get Erythrite Crystal from merchants. If you have enough currency, trading will be a more convenient option.
Farming Hard
As we have already introduced, this resource is only produced in Hagga Rift, so you need to take Cutteray tool to the area to find the corresponding mine to mine. It is worth mentioning that higher levels of Cutteray can allow you to get additional benefits when mining resources at the mine.
In addition to the essential Cutteray and the battery packs needed to keep it running, you will also need to bring the following items:
- Personal Lamp for lighting (found it under the research section).
- Reliable weapons and armor. Because there are enemies scattered around the mining site, if you lose the battle, you will suffer losses.
- Backup power lines and water sources.
How To Find The Farming Location?
In order to reach Hagga Rift while avoiding unnecessary enemies and troublesome terrain delays, it is recommended to follow the following route:
- 1. Find Vermillius Gap and enter from Riftwatch entry point on the east side.
- 2. You will encounter a slope, keep going down until you see a crashed ornithopter and a large cave structure.
Next, please look for Erythrite Crystal on all visible surfaces of the cave and mine it. This is not difficult because there should be many distribution points and corresponding icons will be displayed on the map.
But in fact, the real rich Erythrite Crystal storage point is CHOAM Material Extraction Facilities. If you have enough equipment to utilize it, please utilize it first.
In addition, there will be crates and storage containers around the extraction facilities, which can also obtain Erythrite Crystal. Importantly, if you are short of Erythrite Crystal, you can return to the extraction facilities and repeat farming.
Best Farming Method
To improve the efficiency of collecting Erythrite Crystal, you should start from the source of the whole process, that is, to speed up your movement! For this reason, it is recommended to drive your off-road vehicle to your destination.
In fact, it is not only faster, but also can directly crush low-level monsters on the way. After reaching Hagga Rift, the headlights can help you explore the caves, and the turrets can help you collect Erythrite Crystals that are high or out of reach on foot.
If you have a friend, the efficiency of two-player games will be better, because one person can drive and shoot, while the other is mainly responsible for collecting. Just provide fuel, repair wires, storage modules and Cutteray, and you can even assemble the off-road vehicle on the spot!
The first tip worth keeping in mind during mining is to utilize higher-level Cutterays, because this way you can get more resources than normal even at the same collection point.
Secondly, we also recommend that you utilize mine carts that can be paired with Cutteray arrays to improve mining efficiency, because the mine cart turrets can collect more hard-to-reach crystals and allow you to move between nodes faster.
If you can utilize the help of all the above tools, you can expect to get hundreds of Erythrite Crystals in one mining. But if you can only mine manually for various reasons, don’t be discouraged, bring your personal lamp and take your time to get something!
The above is the content related to Erythrite Crystal farming that we brought to you. If you happen to need this item, just follow the instructions and start taking action!
