Diablo 4 Hotfix 2 Fixes Horadric Parcel Bug in Patch 3.2.2

Diablo 4 Patch 3.2.2 Hotfix 2 is now live, and Blizzard has fixed one of the more frustrating Season 15 issues: players can once again claim items from Horadric Parcels.

The October 6 hotfix is extremely small, with just two changes listed by Blizzard. The first resolves an issue that prevented players from claiming items from Horadric Parcels, while the second adds various stability improvements.

There are no class balance changes, new Diablo 4 items for sale, endgame adjustments, or major gameplay changes in this update.

For anyone who had a Horadric Parcel sitting in the Horadric Post that refused to give up its contents, however, this is exactly the fix they have been waiting for.

Diablo 4 Hotfix 2 Fixes Horadric Parcel Bug in Patch 3.2.2

Diablo 4 Hotfix 2 Fixes the Horadric Parcel Bug

The main purpose of Hotfix 2 is simple: fix the problem that prevented players from claiming items from Horadric Parcels.

That may sound like a minor quality-of-life issue compared with a broken quest or a class bug, but reward delivery problems are particularly annoying in a loot-driven game like Diablo 4.

The entire Season 15 gameplay loop revolves around completing activities, collecting rewards, upgrading characters, and moving on to the next piece of content. When a reward is successfully delivered but cannot be claimed, that loop stops for no good reason.

The item is there.

The parcel is there.

The game simply refuses to let you take it.

That is the problem Blizzard has now addressed.

If you previously encountered an unclaimable Horadric Parcel, the first thing to do after the hotfix is restart Diablo 4 and check the Horadric Post again.

What Does Diablo 4 Hotfix 2 Change?

Blizzard's Hotfix 2 notes are short:

  • Fixed an issue preventing players from claiming items from Horadric Parcels.

  • Implemented various stability improvements.

That's the complete update.

The stability improvements are not accompanied by a detailed list of individual performance or crash fixes, so players should not expect a major technical overhaul from Hotfix 2.

The Horadric Parcel fix is the important part for Season 15 players.

It also means there is no reason to expect your current build to suddenly behave differently because of this hotfix. Blizzard has not announced any new class tuning or item balance changes as part of Hotfix 2.

If you are happy with your current build, you can keep farming exactly as before.

The difference is that your Horadric Post should now be able to do the one job it was designed to do.

Why the Horadric Post Keeps Getting Attention

The Horadric Post is a relatively new system in Diablo 4, introduced as part of the broader Season 15 experience.

Blizzard designed it as a way to deliver rewards, supplies, messages, and other account-related items directly to players. It provides the game with a dedicated place to send rewards without requiring every delivery to be handled through a separate quest, NPC, or activity.

That makes the Horadric Post a useful quality-of-life feature.

It also makes bugs involving the system particularly noticeable.

Patch 3.2.2 had already fixed another Horadric Post problem. Players who were mounted could previously encounter an issue that prevented them from interacting with the post correctly.

Hotfix 2 now addresses a different part of the system: the ability to actually claim items from Horadric Parcels.

So while neither issue changes Diablo 4's core combat or progression systems, both can directly interfere with something players expect to be routine.

You walk up to the mailbox.

You interact with it.

You collect your reward.

That's supposed to be the easy part.

Patch 3.2.2 Was Already Focused on Season 15 Bug Fixes

Hotfix 2 should also be viewed as a follow-up to the much larger Patch 3.2.2 update released on September 30.

The main patch contained a long list of fixes affecting Season 15 progression, activities, items, Runewords, classes, The Tower, the UI, and general gameplay stability.

Several of the fixes targeted progression problems that could stop players from moving through seasonal content correctly.

For example, Blizzard fixed an issue involving the Worldstone Chamber where entering the portal too quickly could interfere with quest progression. Another fix addressed Lester's Farm, where moving through the hive too quickly could prevent the dungeon from progressing.

The Chamber of Bone also received a fix after players could complete the activity without receiving its intended rewards.

There were several equipment and item-related fixes as well. Blizzard corrected an issue involving the Edge Runeword and the Purveyor of Curiosities, fixed the Lore Runeword Helm becoming invisible, and prevented Nihlathak from leaving his intended boss arena.

Hotfix 2 continues that cleanup process, but with a much narrower target.

This time, the problem is not a quest objective or a boss encounter.

It's the mailbox.

A Small Bug With a Very Diablo 4 Problem

The Horadric Parcel issue has an obvious source of frustration for ARPG players.

Diablo 4 is built around the expectation that every activity moves your character forward in some way. Even when a run produces nothing useful, you are still collecting gold, crafting materials, experience, or progress toward another reward.

A parcel that cannot be claimed breaks that expectation.

Players do not want to wonder whether an item has disappeared, whether they need to wait for another server update, or whether the reward will eventually become available.

They simply want to collect it and get back to farming.

That is why small quality-of-life fixes can matter more than their patch-note size suggests.

Nobody is going to change their build because Blizzard fixed the Horadric Post.

Nobody is going to make a new character because of it.

But a player who has been staring at a reward they cannot claim will notice the difference immediately.

What Should You Do If Your Horadric Parcel Was Stuck?

If you previously had trouble claiming a Horadric Parcel, restart Diablo 4 after Hotfix 2 has been applied.

Then return to the Horadric Post and check the affected parcel.

If the problem was caused by the issue addressed in Hotfix 2, the parcel should now be claimable.

Players who have not experienced the bug do not need to make any special changes. Simply keeping the game client updated is enough.

It is also important not to confuse this fix with a reward restoration announcement. Blizzard's Hotfix 2 notes specifically address the inability to claim items from Horadric Parcels. They do not announce a separate compensation package or a new system for recovering unrelated missing rewards.

So if you can see a parcel but cannot claim its contents, this hotfix is directly relevant.

If an expected reward never appeared in the Horadric Post at all, that is a different issue.

No Balance Changes in Hotfix 2

Players looking for the next big Diablo 4 balance adjustment will not find it here.

Hotfix 2 does not introduce a new round of class buffs or nerfs.

There is no announced Barbarian rework.

There is no new Sorcerer balance pass.

There are no changes to the current endgame meta.

There are also no new Unique items or seasonal activities attached to this hotfix.

That makes the update easy to summarize: Patch 3.2.2 Hotfix 2 is a maintenance update designed to remove a specific reward-claiming problem and improve stability.

For many players, that is preferable to another round of unexpected balance changes in the middle of a season.

Why This Matters for Diablo 4 Season 15

Season 15 has introduced another layer of systems and rewards into an already complicated Diablo 4 ecosystem.

As the game continues to grow, Blizzard has more systems that need to communicate with one another: seasonal progression, activities, rewards, crafting, equipment, Runewords, account-level features, and now the Horadric Post.

That also means there are more opportunities for small technical problems to appear.

The goal of a hotfix like this is not to make Season 15 feel completely different.

It is to make the existing systems work the way players expect them to work.

The Horadric Post is a good example.

It was introduced to make reward delivery more convenient. If players cannot claim those rewards, the feature becomes another obstacle instead of a quality-of-life improvement.

Hotfix 2 removes that obstacle.

Diablo 4 Patch 3.2.2 Hotfix 2: Quick Summary

Release: October 6, 2026
Game: Diablo 4
Patch: 3.2.2
Season: Season 15 – Season of Hell's Legacy

Main fix:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from claiming items from Horadric Parcels.

Additional change:

  • Various stability improvements.

What affected players should do:

  1. Restart Diablo 4 after the hotfix is applied.

  2. Return to the Horadric Post.

  3. Check any previously stuck Horadric Parcels.

  4. Try claiming the items again.

There is no major balance change to learn and no new endgame system to understand.

It is simply one less Season 15 bug getting in the way of the loot grind.

And there is something appropriately Diablo about the whole situation.

Players can fight demons, defeat powerful bosses, open portals, survive the deepest parts of Sanctuary and spend hours chasing the perfect gear roll.

But for a short while, the real obstacle was a package sitting in a magical mailbox.

At least that fight is over now.
