Category: Diablo 4 Posted: May 15, 2026 Views: 27

While playing Diablo 4, it is highly recommended that you keep a close eye on official announcements or statements released across various platforms; otherwise, you risk missing out on new changes that could significantly enhance your gameplay experience!

For instance, on May 13th, Diablo 4 released Patch 3.0.2, includes a fix for Aspect of Glynn's Anvil. If your character's chosen class is capable of utilizing this Aspect, you absolutely need to know the details!

Below, we will introduce Aspect of Glynn's Anvil and its recent bug fix, while also providing specific guidance for the relevant classes.

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred Patch 3.0.2 makes Aspect of Glynn's Anvil powerful again | Strategies applicable to all related classes

Aspect of Glynn's Anvil bug fixed

Introduced as a new Legendary Aspect in Lord of Hatred expansion, Aspect of Glynn's Anvil serves to increase your Maximum Resolve by 2 points. Furthermore, for every stack of Resolve you accumulate, you gain a damage reduction effect ranging from 2.5% to 4%.

For a period, this latter benefit, the damage reduction effect, was not functioning correctly; fortunately, this issue has now been resolved.

It is worth noting that only six classes in the game are capable of utilizing this aspect: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Rogue, and Spiritborn. Consequently, this recent change has no impact on players of Warlock or Sorcerer classes.

Additionally, the gear slots capable of being imprinted with Aspect of Glynn's Anvil include helms, chest armor, pants, shields, and amulets. If imprinted onto an amulet, Aspect receives an additional 50% bonus to its effects.

To unlock this aspect, you must first acquire a Legendary item that already possesses it, typically by farming various in-game events. You then need to salvage that item at The Blacksmith to permanently add the aspect to your Codex of Power.

Once saved, you can visit The Occultist to imprint Aspect of Glynn's Anvil onto a new piece of gear. We generally recommend selecting a high-quality item with strong base stats as your target piece for imprinting.

General strategy

Assuming Aspect of Glynn's Anvil is functioning correctly, the primary step in utilizing it, regardless of which of the six eligible classes you are playing, is to craft a general gear with Resolve.

If this item is subsequently Tempered and Masterworked, the potential Resolve stack count will increase even further; applying this process to an Amulet can yield an additional +12 to your Resolve stacks.

From there, your objective is simply to continuously accumulate Resolve stacks. Whenever your character sustains direct damage, these Resolve stacks will be consumed to provide you with damage reduction.

Druid

For Druid players, stacking Resolve is quite easy, as you can equip Might of the Ursine ring to automatically gain one stack of Resolve per second while in Werebear form.

Most importantly, you gain access to Obsidian Slam, which grants you one stack of Resolve whenever you cast an Earth skill. However, if you attempt to use this combo immediately before casting Cataclysm, it will not work.

Consequently, you must use Debilitating Roar while Roar is active to stack additional Resolve, or rely on Bulwark to ensure that Resolve is generated every time the skill triggers.

It is worth noting that we recommend imprinting Aspect of Glynn's Anvil onto Mythic helm Heir of Perdition; this allows you to transfer the item to other characters of different classes and continue utilizing its effects.

Barbarian

Upon introducing the imprinted Heir of Perdition, your Barbarian character will immediately start with 24 stacks of Resolve. You should then select Iron Skin, which grants two stacks of Resolve upon casting.

Subsequently, thanks to Cooldown Reduction provided by Ancient Barbarian, you can stack Resolve more rapidly, thereby gaining increased damage reduction.

Necromancer

As a Necromancer, you can command a skeletal army and apply Decrepify to enemies via Lucky Hits to generate Resolve stacks, your leg armor will automatically apply this curse.

Paladin

This class can stack Resolve via Rite of Prayer; by healing yourself and your allies, you gain two stacks of Resolve per second.

Additionally, you can pair this with Aspect of Dominance and Aspect of Interdiction, the latter increases your Block Chance based on the number of Resolve stacks you currently possess.

Spiritborn

To utilize Glynn's Anvil effectively as a Spiritborn, it is recommended that you craft a gorilla build, which makes stacking Resolve significantly easier.

This type of build primarily functions through poison buffs and Rushing Claw; you can then easily generate Resolve using Rock Splitter and Crushing Hand combo.

In fact, Spiritborn has numerous sources for generating Resolve. For instance, Aspect of Kinetic Suppression grants you three stacks of Resolve whenever you cast a non-basic mobility skill (such as Rushing Claw).

Alternatively, Aspect of Tenacity allows you to gain one stack of Resolve for every 15 points of Spirit generated while you are at maximum Spirit capacity.

Rogue

As a Rogue, you can primarily gain additional stacks of Resolve by casting Dash skill. Furthermore, Concealment also provides you with Resolve.

Moreover, Cold Imbuement and Poison Trap skills can generate even more stacks of Resolve. Consequently, for this class, stacking Resolve presents absolutely no challenge.

Although the remaining two classes cannot utilize Aspect of Glynn's Anvil, they can still stack Resolve through other means, such as Aspect of Dominance, which is mentioned in this guide. If you are interested, feel free to experiment with them yourself!

If you want to enjoy the buffs provided by Aspect of Glynn's Anvil as quickly as possible, the best method is to buy Diablo 4 items on IGGM!
