  1. Ancient Fort

  The first puzzle we'll discuss is located in Ancient Fort on the south side of the map. This desolate fortress stands atop a hill, and at the base of its western wall is a locked cellar door containing the most valuable loot on the map. Therefore, expect to encounter other raiders and a number of ARC machines along this route, so be prepared.

  However, players need to find the fuzes scattered throughout Ancient Fort and insert them into the fuze boxes here to open the cellar door. The three fuze boxes are located as follows:

  1. The first is located at the bottom of the outer south wall of the fort.
  2. The second is located in the second abandoned building on the northeast side of the fort, on a broken shelf in the second-floor courtyard.
  3. The last is located next to the ladder leading to the watchtower at the top of the fort.

  To solve this puzzle, you need to find three hidden fuzes inside and outside Ancient Fort. This isn't difficult, as there are about 10 locations around the fort where fuzes might spawn; you can easily find them and bring them back by simply wandering around the fort.

  Insert the fuzes into all three boxes to open the cellar door, where there's a high chance of rewarding players with high-tier loot, blueprints, and epic weapons.

  2. Raider's Refuge

  Let's move on to the second puzzle. Head to Raider's Refuge in the western area of ​​ARC Raiders Blue Gate. Upon arrival, you'll see a large church surrounded by ruins. You need to enter the cellar on the east side of the church, but it's locked.

  Fortunately, opening the cellar is quite simple. Just find and interact with four buttons scattered nearby. The buttons are located as follows:

  Each time you successfully press a button, the light above the cellar will turn yellow. When you press the last button, all the lights will turn green, and the cellar door will immediately open for you.

  Note that the spawn locations of these buttons are completely random. They may appear inside the church or in other damaged buildings nearby. So far, we've found over 20 possible button spawn points. If you're unsure where to find the buttons, you can prioritize these four locations:

  • Next to the generator to the left of the door.
  • Behind a wooden bench on the side of the church.
  • On the damaged roof, the button is hidden under a wooden beam.

  You can activate the buttons in any order, but once pressed, you cannot interact with them again. There are no other additional mechanics or tricks to this puzzle; finding the correct four buttons is key.

  Please remember that this puzzle can only be completed once per game session. So, if you accidentally find Raider's Refuge, but it has already been opened and looted, you will need to restart the game.

  3. Reinforced Reception

  Next, we can head to the northeast side of Blue Gate to find Reinforced Reception. This is one of the most crowded areas on the entire map, so it is recommended that you visit a reliable ARC Raiders online trading shop before starting to acquire suitable weapons and smoke grenades to prepare for sudden enemy attacks.

  You can use the zipline to descend into this area, where you will see Lights Puzzle. Next, you need to interact with the terminal in the main hall, which will display red, blue, or yellow. Depending on the displayed color, you need to follow the corresponding colored lines on the ground to find an unlocked loot room.

  Please note that approaching the loot cabinet will trigger an alarm, alerting other raiders to your location, so don't act rashly.

  When you trigger the blue light, follow the blue line on the ground. You'll find a door leading to the red room. There's a fuze panel on the side of the door; this is the real puzzle of the area. You need to find the fuze dispenser here.

  Fortunately, Reinforced Reception isn't large, and you can easily find a chest containing three fuzes. Insert all three fuzes into the panel next to the door to enter the room.

  4. Deforester Husk

  The final Blue Gate puzzle is located on a Deforester Husk in Adorned Wreckage area of ​​this map. To solve this puzzle, you need to carry two ARC Powercells to activate the loot point. You can obtain these Powercells by defeating any ARC enemy or by spending coins directly in the shop.

  Next, simply insert the first ARC Powercell into the sparking panel on Deferester Husk to activate the machine. Don't worry, you won't get electrocuted, but you'll still need to insert the second Powercell into the back of the husk while avoiding the flames. This will activate the upper passageway inside the machine.

  Then, you can use the platform leading to the upper part of the turbine to climb to the upper corridor, and then destroy the control panel at the end of the platform to complete the puzzle.

  General Trials Tips

  How To Complete Each Trial?

  Damage Hornets Trial

  It's recommended to start the trial under Hidden Bunker or Night Raids conditions. The easiest maps are Buried City or Spaceport under Night Raids conditions.

  Solo players can use Adrenaline Shots to quickly reach South or North Trench Tower under Spaceport Hidden Bunker conditions, then use the zipline to reach the top, set up barricades and traps, and carry plenty of ammunition for defense.

However, the full patch hasn't been released yet; we're currently only speculating based on recent statements from the developers regarding ARC Raiders and the trailers revealed, to infer what issues they might be aware of and plan to address, as well as some clues about the game's future direction.

  

  Snowfall Map Condition

  First, this Cold Snap update will include a Snowfall Map Condition. Currently, our only understanding of this condition comes from a few outdoor snowy scenes shown in the game's launch trailer, but this area doesn't currently exist in ARC Raiders.

  Therefore, the prevailing speculation is that this is simply a preview of this important map condition. Its specific impact remains unknown.

  How Will It Work?

  Logically, we can predict it will probably be similar to Electromagnetic Storm, meaning it might affect multiple different maps, rather than being locked to a specific map like Spaceport's Hidden Bunker.

  We say this primarily because the official promotion claims it's a key part of December update, and adding a condition to only one map would be disappointing. Furthermore, blizzards shouldn't only occur in one place in the open world.

  Snow has excellent sound-absorbing properties, making sounds even quieter. Therefore, we can easily imagine the game covering all outdoor areas with a fresh layer of snow. This way, players will make almost no sound when walking in the snow. The snow will absorb most of the noise on the map.

  Footprints

  Besides, walking in the snow will naturally leave clearly visible footprints. Therefore, even if you can move almost silently in the snow, you will always leave a trail behind you, meaning other players can track you.   It's worth noting that each major map condition seems to significantly increase the drop rate of a super rare blueprint. For example, Tempest blueprint is generally considered easiest to find in Night Raid; Snap Hook blueprint is easiest to find during Electromagnetic Storm; and Bobcat blueprint is easiest to find during Locked Gate.

  So, during Snowfall's activation, which blueprint will generate more frequently? We would say Deadline Mine blueprint. Since the roadmap doesn't mention adding new weapons, it's unlikely to be a new weapon blueprint.

  Deadline Mine is a very powerful new item added in Patch 1.2, tied to a brand new map condition not yet in the game. The total number of blueprints has increased, meaning there should be a corresponding map condition that increases its drop rate.

  

  Flickering Flames Event

  Flickering Flames event is also listed in Cold Snap update section of the roadmap.

  However, the meaning of the word event is currently quite vague. Since its release, the only event officially referred to as an event in ARC Raiders is Breaking New Ground Event. It initially unlocked Stella Montis map and later evolved into a route where rewards were earned through XP.

  Therefore, Flickering Flames is likely just the next event where you can earn some small rewards for free, and they hope this type of event will continue.

  However, some believe it might be a small new event added to the map, such as Husk Graveyard, Matriarch, or Harvester.

  Expedition Departure Window To Be Launched

  Expedition Departure Window will also open around mid-December, and they will also add a Raider Deck. If Flickering Flames event works as we expect, it might launch simultaneously with this new battle pass, but we cannot be certain at this time.

  New Quests

  More quests will be added later, and we speculate these will be related to Snowfall map condition. Alternatively, it might even be a continuation of our Stella Montis map adventure, as the events associated with that map end in a few days, and there seems to be some follow-up content. So, perhaps the new quests will stem from this.

  While ARC Raiders lacks purely PvE gameplay, the game's story is woven together through many main quests. If you're not interested in aimless exploration, prioritizing these quests is the best option.

  These quests not only mark the game's plot and your personal progress but also reward you with various items and coins. More importantly, they are reset through Expedition system, allowing you to continuously earn rewards.

  However, this means you must try to remember the completion methods and locations of most quests to quickly complete them after a reset and avoid wasting time.

  There are a total of 66 main quests in ARC Raiders. 60 are related to various main vendors, while the rest are distributed across two specific maps, requiring you to complete a certain number of rounds to unlock. We will provide a detailed introduction below.

  

  All Vendor-Related Quests

  This section contains as many as 60 quests, issued by different vendors. Each vendor issues a varying number of quests, and the maps you need to travel to also differ.

  These tasks are generally not difficult; the only tricky part is that some of them involve combat and require you to complete them within a single combat round.

  Therefore, to ensure a high completion rate and avoid wasting time on failed challenges, it's best to get safe ARC Raiders products trading at IGGM to improve your overall combat power and complete the current main missions in one go.

  Shani

  This NPC is the security chief of Speranza and an expert in ARC robots. She has her own small shop, and although she has an eccentric personality, she is very capable. Missions related to her include:

  • Picking Up The Pieces - Any Location: Go to any area on the map marked with a loot category icon; obtain 3 containers.
  • Trash Into Treasure - Any Location: Find 6 wires and 1 battery.
  • Clearer Skies - Any Location: Kill 3 ARC robots to obtain 3 Alloys, then give them to Shani.
  • Off The Radar - Any Location: Find the Field Depot and repair the roof antenna within a single game round.
  • Down To Earth - Any Location: Find Field Crate and bring it back to the supply depot.
  • Hatch Repairs - Any Location: Repair the leaking hydraulic lines near Raider Hatch and find the key.
  • Mixed Signals - Any Location: Destroy Leaper to obtain a Leaper Pulse Unit.
  • Out Of The Shadows - Any Location: Destroy an ARC Surveyor to obtain a Surveyor Vault.
  • The Trifecta - Any Location: Kill a Rocketeer to obtain a Rocketeer Driver.
  • A Lay Of The Land - Spaceport: Loot Jiangsu Warehouse and find a LiDAR Scanner to give to Shani.
  • Communication Hideout - Buried City: Reach Red Tower in Old Town within a game and activate the antenna terminal by repairing the generator.
  • Dormant Barons - Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, Blue Gate: Find a Baron Husk.
  • Eyes In The Sky - Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport: Install LiDAR Scanners on the top of specific buildings in the three maps.
  • Lost In Transmission - Spaceport: Reach the top of Control Tower A6 in one game and establish a terminal link.
  • Our Presence Up There - Dam Battlegrounds: Find Pattern House in one game and flip the power switch there.

  Celeste

  As the leader of Raiders, Celeste experienced a profound ARC invasion in her childhood, leading her to lead and establish Speranza. She is also the only vendor in the game who accepts plant seeds as currency.

  Tian Wen

  She possesses extraordinary technological and architectural talent and is skilled in gun repair. She's happier when she's focused on her work than dealing with people.

  • Espresso - Any Location: Find Espresso Machine Parts and give them to Apollo.
  • Safe Passage - Any Location: Kill two ARC robots using any explosive grenade.
  • Sparks Fly - Any Location: Destroy a Hornet using Trigger ‘Nade' or Snap Blast Grenade.
  • What Goes Around - Any Location: Kill any robot using Fireball Burner.
