ARC Raiders 2026 Roadmap: Top Community-Requested Features and Changes

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Dec 31, 2025 Views: 4041

Greetings, Raiders! 2026 is almost here! As we count down to the new year, are you also looking forward to seeing some changes in ARC Raiders?

We all know that ARC Raiders has been a phenomenal hit since its release, and one of the hottest games of 2025. It has been widely praised for its innovative extraction shooter gameplay, selling millions of copies, dominating the charts, and even winning Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025.

However, this doesn't mean it's without flaws. The overly harsh penalty system, ARC Raiders blueprint drop system that needs improvement, and persistent bugs/synchronization issues have all affected the player experience to some extent. While players were more forgiving in the early stages, considering the game's overall quality, addressing these issues and introducing more new content is now the developers' primary goal to support ARC Raiders' long-term development vision and competitive position.

Therefore, based on current player community feedback, let's delve into some of the features players hope to see in the 2026 roadmap. Hopefully, these will appear in ARC Raiders roadmap updates in the near future!

ARC Raiders 2026 Roadmap: Top Community-Requested Features and Changes

1. Team Recruitment

First, the first feature we want to mention is allowing players to recruit friends to join their team.

As we all know, ARC Raiders' popularity stems not only from its gameplay but also from its encouragement of social interaction. Players can interact in a positive and friendly way, making each raid unique. Therefore, allowing players to recruit other players to join their team would undoubtedly be a great addition.

Of course, this would only apply to solo mode, not squad mode, as the current squad size is fixed at 3 players. Being able to roam around in solo mode, recruiting players to join your squad and ensuring you don't get eliminated, would be a cool gameplay mechanic that could inject new life into the game.

However, as a shooter game with PVP elements, should you trust strangers you just met? Because you might constantly worry about being attacked from behind.

Overall, this feature essentially allows you to gain extra support from friendly players and encourages you to make friends to strengthen your team, so you can reap the benefits of teamwork. However, whether this gameplay is truly viable remains questionable, as it completely changes the nature of the solo mode.

2. Reducing Expedition Project Difficulty

The next feature is about Expedition Project in ARC Raiders.

Expedition Project resets the player's game journey. Once completed, you will receive a brand new character to start from scratch.

However, the only problem is that the requirements for Expedition are quite demanding, often requiring players to spend weeks or even months to complete the tasks. Therefore, appropriately relaxing the requirements might allow players to better experience the 2026 upgrade content, especially for new players who want to reset at least once for various reasons.

3. Adding New Enemies & Maps

The next change players are hoping for on their wish list is the addition of new storylines and maps.

Obviously, we will experience this content sooner or later, but more players crave more challenging and in-depth storylines. Especially given the current game already has many deadly ARC robots, adding new story enemies would certainly make the 2026 game more exciting. Perhaps a larger threat like the Matriarch should be introduced, which could unite many raiders who want to defeat it, leading to a more ultimate PVE experience.

In addition, new maps are also essential. Although Stella Montis map was introduced to the game not long ago and has been warmly welcomed by players, adding more new maps with different terrain types in ARC Raiders in 2026 would also be a very necessary change, after all, no one will have the enthusiasm to explore a highly repetitive map.

4. Clothing Customization

Next, we'll discuss a rather obvious feature that many players have probably already thought of: clothing customization.

While the clothing in ARC Raiders is admittedly very good, there are some limitations in terms of customization. You can't unlock a wide variety of color palettes, and most skins only have two or three colors to choose from. Moreover, you can't even freely mix and match different parts, only using the options provided by the game, which greatly limits players' creativity.

To be honest, for such a popular game with such rich gameplay mechanics, this kind of customization system is quite strange. Why is such a simple feature as customization limited to this extent? Is it just to encourage players to spend money in the store?

Regardless, it would be great if more clothing customization options were added in 2026. Players could create personalized looks with unique colors and designs, allowing them to stand out.

5. Speranza → Social Hub?

Finally, one feature improvement that countless players are hoping for is turning Speranza into an optional, playable hub. Speranza is humanity's main underground hub and last bastion. Raiders start from here, venturing to the surface world to scavenge resources and bring them back to build their secret bases. Therefore, it's a crucial safe zone for survival and a hub for player interaction and missions.

As a core area, Speranza currently doesn't offer much in terms of player interaction. Many players hope that in 2026 it will become an optional, explorable social hub to enhance immersion and social interaction, creating a more realistic sense of place, transforming it from a simple menu interface into a vibrant community city.

Players could physically interact with merchants in Speranza, customize their personal spaces, and interact with other players, increasing leisure time and strengthening player connections.

However, please note that we don't mean that the menu options for Speranza should be completely removed, as some players prefer to jump straight into the game and focus on raiding missions, so this remains an essential feature for this multiplayer game.

The above is our current wish list for ARC Raiders 2026 roadmap. We sincerely hope the development team will seriously consider these features. If they start developing these features within the next year, it could be another milestone for the game!
