  When Can You Play Patch 0.4.0?

  The official name of this patch is The Last of the Druids. It will be released on all PoE 2 available platforms on December 12th, 2025 at 11:00 AM PST. Simply update the game to start playing.

  Since the release of Patch 0.2.0 on April 4th of this year, the game has consistently released a new patch every 3-4 months. While this interval is longer than PoE 1 release league, it at least proves that PoE 2 is becoming more stable as an Early Access game.

  It's worth noting that even if you don't own Path of Exile 2, you can play all the game's content for free for three days after Patch 0.4.0 is released, including this patch! This is a great opportunity for players who are still undecided about the game.

  New Base Class Druid

  In fact, the name of this patch itself suggests that the new class Druid will be the core of this update. At launch, Path of Exile 2 only had 6 basic classes; Huntress was added with patch 0.2.0.

  Afterwards, there was various speculation within the game community about more new classes, until now, when Druid has finally been added to Path of Exile 2 as the eighth class.

  While details are still unknown, based on Druids in other games, it can be inferred that this will be a hybrid of strength and intelligence, capable of transforming into creatures like bears or werewolves for melee or elemental magic combat.
