What Is Golden Blitz?

Golden Blitz is a flash event where players can trade gold cards. Golden Blitz usually lasts about 15-24 hours. You know the event is going on when you see Golden Blitz icon on the right side of the board.

Each Golden Blitz event will offer two different gold stickers for players to trade between each other, and in most cases there will be no duplicates. The stickers available for the upcoming Golden Blitz event are Monopoly Go Princess Leia in Set 22 and Warm and Fuzzy in Set 15.

The frequency of the Golden Blitz event of War Stars album is a little higher than that of other sticker seasons. There are over than 20 days left in War Stars album season, and three Golden Blitz have been held:
- June 3, 2025 to June 4, 2025: Side by Side (set 17) and Sandcrawler (set 20)
- May 30, 2025 to May 31, 2025: Han Solo (set 22) and Chewbacca (set 22)
- May 22, 2025 to May 23, 2025: Luke Skywalker (set 22) and Grogu (set 22)
According to past rules, the closer to the end of the album season, the more frequent Golden Blitz event will be, so all tycoons may can complete War Stars album.

How To Trade Gold Cards?

You can only trade gold stickers during Golden Blitz event, and the only gold stickers you can trade are the two gold stickers for that specific Golden Blitz.

To trade gold stickers, you simply select them in the sticker gallery, just like you would trade regular stickers, and then set up a redemption or send to a friend. During Golden Blitz event, you can send up to five gold stickers to other players, besides the five regular stickers that can be traded normally each day.

How To Get Gold Stickers?

While gold stickers are theoretically available in any regular card pack, they are almost impossible to get in a 1 to 3 star sticker pack, and even a 4 star sticker pack is hard to get. The best ways to get gold stickers are 5 star sticker packs, swap packs, and wild stickers.

5 star sticker packs are purple, and usually have 6 Monopoly Go stickers on them. These stickers are usually high-star stickers. It may be a regular 5 star sticker, or a gold sticker.

There are many opportunities to get a 5 star sticker pack, but most of them are difficult. For example, you need to be the first in a tournament event or complete a week of Quick Wins, which the rewards include a 5-star sticker pack.

Swap packs and Wild Stickers are basically the final rewards of special events. Swap packs contain 4 stickers, and they must be rare stickers. If you are not satisfied with the stickers you draw, you can redraw. Wild Stickers are like universal cards, which you can exchange for any card in the current sticker season.

One trick to get more cards is to use Sticker Boom to increase the benefits of each card pack. During Sticker Boom event, the number of Monopoly Go stickers you open in any sticker pack will be increased by half:
- 1-star sticker pack: 2 stickers
- 2-star sticker pack: 5 stickers
- 3-star sticker pack: 5 stickers
- 4-star sticker pack: 6 stickers
- 5-star sticker pack: 9 stickers
- Swap pack: 6 stickers
When you get a sticker pack, it will automatically open, so it is recommended to try to get 5-star sticker packs during Sticker Boom. The next Sticker Boom will be held on June 7 and will last for 20 minutes. Players can arrange their login time in advance to maximize sticker benefits.
