• Monopoly GO Franken Paths Explained: Keep or Send? The Choice That Can Change Your Team's Progress

The latest Monster Mash season brings a wealth of colorful, Halloween-themed content to Monopoly GO. Beyond collecting candy in Luck-O-Lantern event to win rewards with friends, you can also dive into the thrilling new Trick or Treat event—where you'll dodge ghosts while hunting for bonus candy rewards!

In addition to these fresh visuals and gameplay elements, Monster Mash introduces a new way for Tycoons to make decisions, collaborate, and share rewards. This feature—a new mini-game called Franken Paths—isn't about collecting candy or competing on leaderboards; instead, it requires players to work with teammates and make strategic choices whenever they make progress.

Unlike many Monopoly GO events where the primary goal is simply to earn points and advance a personal progress bar, Franken Paths introduces a simple yet crucial choice: Keep or Send.

After every spin, you must decide whether to keep the progress you've earned for your own path or send it to a teammate. Your choice affects not only your personal rewards but also the speed at which your team completes their paths and races toward the grand prize.

So, what exactly is Franken Paths? How does the Keep or Send mechanic work? And when should you choose to keep your progress rather than sending it to someone else? Here is everything you need to know about this mini-game.

  How Does Franken Paths Work?

As a new team-based mini-game during Monster Mash season, the basic gameplay of Franken Paths is simple: you and your teammates advance along your respective paths, accumulating progress and unlocking rewards as you go. However, the progress you earn doesn't necessarily have to be used by you.

After every spin, Franken Paths presents you with a choice:

  • Keep the progress to advance your own path.
  • Send the progress to a teammate to help them advance their path.

This mechanic creates a team-oriented gameplay experience unlike previous Monopoly GO mini-games.

We no longer focus solely on how much progress we can gain; instead, we must consider another question: who on the team would benefit the most from this progress? Simply put, Franken Paths combines individual progress with team collaboration. Players must build their own paths while also helping teammates advance theirs, working together to aim for the ultimate grand prize.

Keep or Send: How Should You Choose?

In reality, there is no single correct choice that applies in every situation, as the core design philosophy of Monopoly GO Franken Paths is based on team decision-making.

The best choice depends on the status of your current path and the progress your teammates have made on theirs.

So, when should you choose Keep? It is valuable to keep the progress gained from a spin if you are close to securing a rare sticker or a large dice reward, if keeping the progress allows you to immediately unlock a milestone reward on your path, or if your personal progress is lagging significantly and needs priority attention.

Conversely, if a teammate is just shy of reaching a major milestone, or if your own path won't benefit immediately from this progress while another teammate is far behind, choosing Send to help them complete their path will contribute to the team's overall goal.

The choice between Keep and Send is crucial. The goal isn't necessarily to maximize your own progress at every opportunity—nor is it to simply give all your progress away—but rather to determine where allocating that progress will yield the best results.

  Franken Paths Tips for Beginner

If you are playing Monopoly GO Franken Paths for the first time, you don't need an overly complex strategy. After each spin, simply check the following three points:

  1. How far am I from the next reward?

If you are about to reach an important milestone, choosing Keep to speed up your progress might be a logical choice. Be sure to pay attention to the specific rewards associated with that milestone. For example, if the next reward includes valuable Monopoly GO stickers that could help you complete your current Monster Mash album, then the immediate value of keeping your progress might be greater than transferring it elsewhere.

  2. How is my teammate's progress?

Check your teammates' progress before deciding whether to send yours. If a teammate is just one step away from a major reward, your progress could give them the boost they need.

  3. Which choice drives the team forward?

This is the most critical question. Avoid reflexively choosing Keep or automatically sending the result of every spin. Instead, you should weigh your current progress against your teammates' needs.

Consequently, teamwork and coordination are crucial in Franken Paths event—far more so than in many traditional Monopoly GO events—because your decisions can directly benefit your teammates.

  Conclusion

As an engaging new addition to Monopoly GO Monster Mash season, Franken Paths redefines teamwork. You are no longer merely contributing points toward a shared goal; you have the opportunity to decide how to utilize the progress you've earned.

Every spin presents a simple choice: Keep or Send? The key is to avoid viewing either option as the always correct move.

The goal is to combine both approaches to help the team advance together and secure the grand prize. There is no single best strategy; you must constantly monitor your teammates' progress, communicate when necessary, and prioritize the team's overall interests rather than simply keeping every spin for yourself.

• Monopoly Go Luck-O-Lantern Guide: How to Collect Candy and Claim Rewards in Monster Mash Album?

Tycoons, as Halloween elements gradually fill Monopoly Go board, the festive atmosphere of Monster Mash album is intensifying, have you noticed the grinning, witch-hat-wearing pumpkin at the top of the album while you're busy collecting stickers and climbing the leaderboards? That's Luck-O-Lantern - a brand-new social interaction feature introduced with this album.

Luck-O-Lantern does more than just give Monopoly Go interface a fresh look; it serves as a key hub for sharing luck with your friends!

  Access and Unlocking

You can find the entrance to Luck-O-Lantern right at the top of Monster Mash album, displayed alongside your current sticker collection progress. If you don't see it immediately, simply return to the album's main screen and scroll up a bit.

However, to wake it up, you'll need to keep collecting candy to fill it to the brim.

The initial unlock threshold is usually set between 40 and 50 candies. Once you see the progress bar fill up completely, you can tap the pumpkin to kick off a journey of unpredictable rewards within Monopoly Go.

The whole process builds anticipation, feeling like a special Halloween surprise prepared by the development team for the players.

  How to collect candy?

Candy doesn't just drop at random moments; earning it requires staying active across various parts of the game.

Typically, candy appears as a surprise bonus when you open sticker packs in Monopoly Go, giving you a chance to earn a certain amount with every pack you open.

You might also find candy among the rewards on Color Wheel or as an extra gift in mini-games.

This means you don't have to completely alter your dice-rolling strategy for the sake of Luck-O-Lantern; simply view candy collection as a bonus to your daily gameplay - an approach that can actually boost your overall efficiency.

Actively participating in in-game tournaments and aiming for the top ranks remains a reliable way to earn candy.

Additionally, when playing on the board with a high dice multiplier (such as x1000) and landing on a specific Lantern railroad tile, the system accumulates a significant amount of candy for you based on that multiplier.

Since every player invests a different amount of effort into Monopoly Go, the rate of candy accumulation varies; you can gather it gradually over multiple sessions rather than burning through your dice just to collect it.

Maintaining a steady pace and staying active daily is the key to accumulating candy.

What happens after you've collected enough candy?

Once you've filled Luck-O-Lantern with candy, tapping it triggers an interactive sequence. First, the system asks you to select a lucky friend from your list, after which a reward board consisting of nine squares begins to flash.

Lights cycle randomly across the rewards before finally locking in a prize for both you and your friend.

Selecting a friend first and then waiting for the drawn reward adds a special sense of occasion to every sharing moment.

  Luck-O-Lantern Rewards

The rewards from Luck-O-Lantern cover a wide variety of useful resources within Monopoly Go.

Dice are the most common reward, though the quantity varies, ranging from a few hundred to over a thousand (e.g., 450, 750, or 1000).

Sticker packs are another frequent reward, including purple packs and others of varying rarity. If you've been missing specific Monopoly Go stickers, collecting candy to open Luck-O-Lantern is a great opportunity to complete your sets.

There are also tokens - highly coveted by players - which can be used in specific events or kept as collectibles.

However, sometimes you might simply receive an emoji for chat interactions, adding a touch of social fun.

Additionally, you might obtain limited-time boosts from Luck-O-Lantern that increase your sticker acquisition efficiency for a short period - a particularly useful feature for players currently working to complete Monster Mash album.

There are also rewards offering short-term boosts, such as 10-minute or 15-minute bonuses.

Overall, Luck-O-Lantern reward pool includes items like dice, sticker packs, sticker boosts, emojis, and tokens; the specific items and quantities appearing in the 3x3 grid vary each time.

The entire reward selection process is completely randomized by the system. You cannot influence the outcome for yourself or your friend, but this very randomness makes the process of lighting up Luck-O-Lantern in Monopoly Go so much fun.

  Retry Mechanism

If you aren't satisfied with the rewards randomly assigned by Luck-O-Lantern, the system offers you a chance to retry.

However, it is important to note that a retry generates new random rewards for both you and your friend; it does not simply swap the rewards you were originally assigned.

Therefore, think carefully before clicking the reroll button to avoid missing out on rewards that were actually quite good.

If the current pair of rewards already includes something you need, you can simply claim them; consider using the retry option only if the results for both you and your friend are clearly disappointing.

Additionally, some players may find that the interface doesn't respond immediately after filling Luck-O-Lantern progress bar; this is usually because of network latency or server synchronization issues.

If Luck-O-Lantern doesn't seem to be reacting, try tapping it again or re-entering the game later - the rewards might be delayed, but they will arrive.

So, grab a friend, light up Luck-O-Lantern in Monopoly Go, and add even more surprises and fun to your Monster Mash album!

• Monopoly Go Adds Hold the Lead to the Racers Event: How to Formulate the Best New Strategy?

The recently launched Monster Mash album in Monopoly Go brings not only new stickers and collection rewards but also a host of new mechanics and gameplay elements; mastering these quickly is key to fully enjoying the season.

Among the new additions, which include Halloween-themed events like Trick or Treat and Luck-O-Lantern, is Hold the Lead, a feature designed specifically for Monopoly Go racers event.

As you know, the racers event is a primary way to earn rare rewards through teamwork in Monopoly Go. So, what changes does Hold the Lead bring, and does it help you earn more rewards? Let's take a look.

  Traditional racers event mechanics

Before diving into Hold the Lead, it is important to understand how the traditional Racers event works, as the new feature is built directly upon that foundation.

Beyond the daily board progression, much of Monopoly Go's gameplay value lies in its various events; notably, Racers and Partners are the only two events that require teamwork.

In a standard racers event, you form a four-person team with friends or system-recommended players. You are then matched against three other teams to compete in a rally that lasts four to five days.

To win, you and your teammates must collect exclusive racer tokens through other daily activities. You then consume these tokens to spin a wheel; the resulting points (or multiplied values) are converted into driving distance for your race car.

After each race round, the system ranks teams based on their points and awards medals. After multiple rounds, the team with the highest cumulative medal count takes first place and wins the grand prize.

How does Hold the Lead work?

As a brand-new mechanic introduced with Monster Mash, Hold the Lead does not replace the original Racers event leaderboard. Instead, it exists as a parallel, additive leaderboard focused on rewarding specific performance milestones.

While you progress through the standard Racers event and its main leaderboard, Hold the Lead tracks your team's performance in real-time whenever you hold the top spot. It records exactly when you took the lead and how long you managed to maintain it.

At the conclusion of the current Racers event, Monopoly Go calculates rewards based on your team's combined performance across both the standard points leaderboard and Hold the Lead leaderboard.

Note that your team must hold first place for a continuous period of at least one minute to register a valid Hold the Lead result. Any lead lasting less than a minute does not count toward the total, though any full minutes accumulated previously are preserved.

What are the benefits of Hold the Lead?

In previous Monopoly Go Racers events, the dominant strategy was to stay low-key early on, hovering around 3rd or 4th place, while stockpiling tokens. Teams would then use the double-medal mechanic during the final race to stage a sudden, decisive comeback.

While efficient and rule-abiding, this strategy often ruined the experience for other teams. Imagine leading for almost the entire race only to be overtaken at the very last moment; it rendered all the tokens consumed earlier in the match meaningless.

With the introduction of Hold the Lead, even if your team loses the top spot on the medal leaderboard at the last minute, you can still gain an advantage based on the time you consumed in first place earlier in the race.

Beyond mitigating unfair competitive dynamics, the dual-reward calculation introduced by Hold the Lead adds strategic depth to the racers event.

Simply finishing in first place, or holding the lead for the longest time, no longer guarantees victory. You must strive for the top spot while carefully timing your moves to avoid being overtaken and to maximize your final rewards.

However, some players view this as just another hurdle designed by Monopoly Go development team to complicate the game, suspecting that the more complex the reward system, the more opportunities there are to integrate micro-transactions.

Regardless, Hold the Lead is here to stay; your best course of action is to adapt quickly and devise new strategies to lead your team to victory.

New tactics for winning the racers event

Previously, securing the grand prize in Monopoly Go Racers event simply required finishing with the highest total number of medals. However, with the addition of Hold the Lead, you can adopt different tactics based on your team's strength.

Strategy for teams with ample tokens

If you and your teammates manage to stockpile many tokens during the racers event, you should consume them quickly right from the start. Push your score to a level that is difficult for opponents in your group to match.

This allows you to hold the top spot for as long as possible during the round, significantly boosting your standing on Hold the Lead leaderboard.

Afterward, keep a close eye on the second-place team's score. Whenever they try to catch up, immediately consume more tokens to maintain the gap and deny them any chance of overtaking you.

  Strategy for F2P teams

If your team members have a limited token supply for various reasons, it is best to abandon the idea of leading the entire race. Instead, save your tokens for the most cost-effective moment to make a single, decisive push for first place.

With this in mind, the opening phase is less about sprinting and more about observing the activity levels and racing habits of the other teams in your group.

Since Monopoly Go does not restrict matchmaking based on time zones, your opponents might stop scoring while they sleep at night, a time when it is daytime for you. Launching an attack and overtaking them then allows you to maintain the lead for the next 6-8 hours.

If they stage a counter-attack during their daytime, avoid a head-to-head clash; drop back to second place and wait for the next window of opportunity to retake the lead.

It remains unclear whether Hold the Lead is a single-season feature or a new core mechanic. Regardless, while it is active, future Monopoly Go racers events will become more complex, and securing the ultimate grand prize may require greater effort.

• Monopoly Go First Dual Album Crossover: What to Expect from KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters in Monster Mash?

Tycoons, Monopoly Go is launching the new Monster Mash album on September 23 at 1:00 PM ET; the biggest difference this time around is its dual collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters.

Even veteran Monopoly Go players have likely never seen a single album feature collaborations with two different IPs simultaneously; the scale of Monster Mash album promises to be unexpectedly grand.

Moreover, these collaborations go beyond mere interface updates or cosmetic decorations, integrating deeply into key game events such as Racers, Partners, and Treasures.

Players will encounter themed race tracks, construction objectives, and treasure-hunting scenarios throughout the album's run, with content from both KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters rolling out in rotating phases from September 23 to November 25.

  KPop Demon Hunters Collaboration

The collaboration between Monopoly Go and KPop Demon Hunters centers on the film's groups HUNTR/X and Saja Boys, featuring characters like Rumi, Mira, and Zoey.

As mentioned, these collaborations extend to Racers, Partners, and Treasures events. In Racers event, players can select these characters as their drivers, racing on tracks that span from the neon-lit streets of Seoul to the film's Underworld.

In Partners event, players can team up with friends to construct KPop Demon Hunters-themed facilities, with a key objective being the creation of the golden artifact known as Honmoon.

Treasures event features a setting inspired by a HUNTR/X concert, where players progress through the hunt and uncover hidden rewards within the themed environment.

Music is a core element of this collaboration, as HUNTR/X songs - "Golden" and "How It's Done" - are being added to the game; this marks the first time Monopoly Go has licensed real-world songs for gameplay.

Additionally, Blocks Boutique will offer items and merchandise inspired by the film, allowing players to collect a wide range of KPop Demon Hunters-style content.

  Ghostbusters Collaboration

The collaboration between Ghostbusters and Monopoly Go has been integrated into the game's core events, transforming settings and items into elements familiar to fans of the films.

For instance, Racers event features a track set on the rooftop of 550 Central Park West, allowing players to race - either solo or in teams - using Ghostbusters-themed vehicles.

Partners event introduces Ghostbusters-themed attractions where players can team up with friends to complete construction goals; the event also features intense showdowns against classic antagonists like Gozer.

Meanwhile, Treasures event takes place in the iconic Firehouse, requiring players to use a Proton Blaster to clear obstacles like slime and uncover hidden rewards.

Familiar characters, locations, and vehicles from the movies appear in Monopoly Go, fully immersing players in Ghostbusters experience.

Notably, the new Mystery Mansion sticker album includes two sets designed specifically around KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters; if you are a fan of the films, these sets will likely be top priorities for your collection.

  Rewards

As previously mentioned, both collaborations feature dedicated sticker sets within Mystery Mansion album to showcase their respective themes, but Monopoly Go Monster Mash album offers much more than that.

Completing KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters sticker sets grants you themed avatars and cash rewards.

Finishing the main album also awards 15,000 free dice rolls, a substantial amount of in-game cash, and a Frankie Board Token.

If you excel in Monopoly Go Monster Mash album and unlock and complete Prestige album, you will earn an additional 15,000 dice rolls, in-game cash, and a Plasma Pulse Deluxe Dice Skin.

Collecting the rewards and themed items associated with these collaborations is a primary goal for this album season.

Therefore, if you aim to complete KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters collections, you should stay alert for opportunities to acquire and trade the relevant Monopoly Go stickers throughout the event rotation.

  Participation Tips

Since the content for both collaborations is spread across the album season running from September 23 to November 25 - with events like Racers, Partners, and Treasures launching in rounds - it is best to keep an eye on the in-game event calendar. This ensures you won't miss out on the themed phases for either franchise.

Additionally, KPop Demon Hunters concert experience and Ghostbusters Firehouse treasure hunt are limited-time events. Planning your dice usage in advance and coordinating with reliable friends will help ensure a smoother experience.

  Sticker Collection

While playing, you might frequently pull duplicate stickers for one collaboration while still missing a few key stickers for the other set.

A smart strategy is to coordinate with regular friends early in the season: clarify which collaboration set each of you is prioritizing, then specifically trade your spare KPop Demon Hunters stickers for Ghostbusters ones (or vice versa), rather than simply hoarding all duplicates indiscriminately for Vault.

  Dice Usage

You should also align your dice consumption with the rotation of Racers, Partners, and Treasures events, rather than casually spending dice on standard board progression during the gaps between these events.

When KPop Demon Hunters or Ghostbusters themed phases arrive, prioritize using your dice on the core mechanics of those specific events. If an event's milestone rewards aren't worth it - offering only small amounts of cash or low-star sticker packs - consider stopping after completing just the first few high-value milestones to save resources for the next collaboration.

Whether you're a movie fan or not, this dual collaboration in Monopoly Go is sure to surprise and delight you!

• Monopoly Go Will Launch Trick or Treat Board Raid Event during Monster Mash: Schedule, Rules, and Rewards

There are only two days left until the launch of the new Monster Mash album in Monopoly Go. While you should strive to unlock final rewards in the current album, it is also essential to prepare for the new gameplay mechanics arriving with the new album.

Monster Mash album runs from September 23 to November 25, spanning one of the most important holidays of the second half of the year: Halloween.

Monopoly Go hosts special Halloween events almost every year, but this time they have launched Trick or Treat board raid event, which will accompany you throughout the entire Monster Mash season!

So, how does this event work, and what rewards can you earn? We'll walk you through the details to help you get ready.

  Trick or Treat duration

Overall, the event's schedule aligns closely with the start and end dates of Monster Mash album, with only a difference of a few hours. To avoid unnecessary losses due to timing errors, here is the specific duration for Trick or Treat (approximately nine weeks):

  • Starts: September 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET
  • Ends: November 25, 2026, at 11:59 AM ET

  How does the event work?

Monopoly Go classifies Trick or Treat as a board raid event. When you prepare to launch a raid, the game presents the boards of five target friends. Each board features a house that hides either a pleasant surprise or a spooky scare.

Before making your final choice, you can freely switch between the friends you wish to visit. However, once you tap and select a specific house, the game locks in that friend as the sole target for the raid; the subsequent showdown and reward calculation will take place on that friend's board.

After selecting a house, you engage in a dice-roll showdown against the opponent: both parties roll simultaneously, and the player with the higher roll wins the candy reward hidden inside the house.

If both players roll the exact same number, resulting in a tie, Monopoly Go triggers a Win-Win outcome. In this scenario, neither you nor your friend suffers a loss; instead, both of you receive generous amounts of candy and extra rewards.

While exploring houses, beyond the dice showdowns, there are hidden ghosts that can appear at any moment. If you encounter a ghost in a house you've chosen, the current board raid session will end immediately.

Fortunately, while a ghost interrupts your exploration streak, you won't lose any of the candy or rewards you've successfully collected up to that point.

What are Trick or Treat rewards?

First, this event is triggered when you land on Railroad tiles or draw a Chance card while moving around Monopoly Go board. This mechanic will likely feel very familiar: yes, triggering Trick or Treat is closely tied to tournament gameplay.

In tournaments that support Trick or Treat feature, successfully completing house selections and showdowns earns you generous tournament points in addition to candy.

The better you perform during house visits, such as making a successful choice, winning a showdown, or triggering a win-win tie, the more points you earn. We surmise that the final point total is linked to the amount of candy you've won.

These points directly fill the tournament progress bar, helping you quickly unlock free dice or sticker packs which can contain new Monopoly Go stickers, to rapidly complete Monster Mash album early in the season.

Additionally, the dice multiplier mechanic applies to Trick or Treat. This means that if you land on Railroad tiles with a specific multiplier active and play the event, your final point total will be significantly boosted by that multiplier.

Note that specific reward values and point conversion rates are not fixed; point yields depend on the type of Monopoly Go tournament and the event phase currently in effect. Therefore, be sure to check the specific rules of the current tournament before committing many dice.

  Exclusive social mechanics

Trick or Treat is more than just a house-selection raid; it also features a two-way social gifting system. This mechanism continues to operate in the background even when you aren't actively playing the game.

Monopoly Go includes a dedicated gift inbox and visit history log for this feature. When a friend obtains shareable candy during a raid and sends it to you, the rewards are automatically deposited into your inbox, ready for you to claim the next time you log in.

You can check your activity log to see which friends have visited your board, view the results of those face-offs, and see who has brought you extra Halloween candy.

To balance the game ecosystem and prevent players from being raided excessively, Monopoly Go has implemented a protection mechanism for Trick or Treat event: there is a limit on the number of friend visits a player can receive within a specific timeframe.

If you attempt to visit a friend and receive a notification that their candy bag is full or the visit limit has been reached, it means that friend cannot accept any more visits at the moment.

There is no need to worry, however. Simply follow the in-game prompts to exit the current screen, select a different eligible friend from your list, and initiate a new raid to keep playing Trick or Treat.

  Extra tips

Clearly, Trick or Treat event relies heavily on friends and board interaction mechanics; given the visit limits, having enough active friends is crucial.

Therefore, before the event begins, it is recommended that you find and add more active players, whether through in-game social features or third-party platforms like forums, to ensure you always have targets available when you trigger a raid.

In short, if you want to collect new stickers and other rewards during Monster Mash season, including those from daily activities like Monopoly Go tournaments, Trick or Treat event is definitely worth taking advantage of. Get ready for it!

• Monopoly Go Monster Mash Arrives September 23 with First 11 Sets Revealed

As the current Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes album in Monopoly Go enters its final phase, player attention is shifting toward the next album. Based on currently available information, the upcoming album will feature a Halloween theme titled Monster Mash and will seamlessly follow the current season.

Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Nears Its End

Launched on July 29, Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes is set to conclude on September 23. Spanning eight weeks, the album includes 21 sets and 189 stickers, while introducing new elements such as 6-star stickers.

Happy Harvest album offered more than just the Looney Tunes collaboration; it also featured unique farming mechanics - such as the ability to plant crops and harvest rewards while landing on the Free Parking tile.

Typically, the end date of the previous album marks the launch of the new one. With September 23 fast approaching, details regarding the next album are beginning to surface.

Monster Mash Details: A Halloween Monster Theme

The leaked title for the upcoming album is Monster Mash. According to current information, it is projected to feature:

  • Start Date: September 23, 2026
  • End Date: November 25, 2026
  • Theme: Monsters / Halloween
  • Sets: 22
  • Stickers: 198

If these details remain unchanged, Monster Mash will be slightly larger in scale than Happy Harvest. While Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes comprised 21 sets and 189 stickers, Monster Mash is expected to include 22 sets and 198 stickers. This means the new album will contain one additional set - equating to nine extra stickers.

Notably, Monster Mash does not appear to be a major IP collaboration - such as Pokémon or DC - that some players had hoped for. Current information suggests an album built entirely around festival theme.

  First 11 Sets Revealed

Although not all the Monopoly Go stickers of new album has been fully unveiled yet, the first 11 sets revealed so far offer a glimpse into the overall artistic direction of Monster Mash.

Unlike the farm theme of Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes, Monster Mash aims to create a fully realized Halloween world. Judging by the current card designs, elements such as monsters, pumpkins, ghosts, magic, and castles aren't merely decorative accents; they form the core visual identity of the album.

Notably, Monster Mash maintains the signature Monopoly Go cartoon style. Even with traditional horror elements like monsters and ghosts, the design leans towards cute, exaggerated, and mildly spooky aesthetics rather than pure horror.

The scenes and interactive elements featured on some cards have led players to speculate whether Monster Mash will introduce new gameplay mechanics tied to the album's theme - much like Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes did with features such as Infinite Harvest (planting and harvesting crops on the board) and Porky's Cafe (using duplicate stickers to fulfill orders).

If Monster Mash follows this design philosophy, the Halloween theme will likely extend beyond stickers and decorations to include a new collection or interactive system. We might even see mechanics like candy collecting or haunted house exploration on the board in the new season.

  How Should Players Prepare Now?

For players aiming to make a strong push in the next album, September 23rd is a crucial date.

First, check your current sticker inventory. If you have incomplete sets, look for trading opportunities before the album ends. For low-star duplicates, consider recycling them through trading or the Vault, as they won't carry over to the next season.

Second, if you are still working on the current album, don't give up too soon just because Monster Mash is approaching. As the album enters its final phase, the frequency of Golden Blitz events usually increases, potentially offering new chances to trade for previously hard-to-get gold stickers. For players missing just one or two cards, a final push in these last few days is well worth the effort.

At the same time, you can start stockpiling general resources for Monster Mash. Rather than holding onto old stickers that won't carry over, it is more beneficial to accumulate resources like dice and cash, which remain usable in the new season. The launch of a new album is typically accompanied by a series of new events; having a sufficient supply of dice on hand is essential to navigating these events effectively.

In short, the priority right now is not to hoard old cards, but to clear out your inventory, make a final push to finish the current album, and save your general resources for Monster Mash. It is a safer bet to wait until the new album launches on September 23rd and then adjust your collection strategy based on the actual card sets and event schedule revealed.

  Conclusion

The outline of Monster Mash is already taking shape: it launches on September 23rd, features a Halloween monster theme, and is expected to include 22 sets and 198 stickers. As more sets and card designs are revealed, players will gain a clearer picture of the album's full content.

However, the new stickers may not be the only thing worth anticipating. Previous events like Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes (specifically Infinite Harvest and Porky's Cafe) experimented with integrating album themes directly into gameplay mechanics. It remains to be seen whether Monster Mash will introduce similar Halloween-exclusive mechanics and how the Gold Sticker and album completion rewards will be designed. Let's wait and see what surprises Monster Mash has in store for players.
