Mistfall Hunter Class Tier List after August 12 Update | Top Classes for Solo and Team Battles

Category: Mistfall Hunter Posted: Aug 17, 2026 Views: 18

Mistfall Hunter received a major update on August 12, introducing the new Soul Harvest event along with several class balance adjustments.

However, these changes have still failed to fix the poor PvP balance, and some classes remain exceptionally powerful. Let's take a look at the strength of each class after the balance adjustments.

Mistfall Hunter Class Tier List after August 12 Update | Top Classes for Solo and Team Battles

1v1 Solo

Tier S

Sword & Shield Mercenary

The strength of Sword & Shield Mercenary in 1v1 fights does not come from its damage, but from its Parry ability.

Once players invest three skill points into Sword & Shield specialization, the class is almost impossible to kill in 1v1 combat.

Parrying allows players to deflect almost all skills in Mistfall Hunter. A successful Parry puts the opponent in a brief stun, allow Mercenary to easily follow up with a combo. This makes it capable of defeating every melee class it encounters.

Parry success rate in Mistfall Hunter is extremely high because most skills have relatively slow activation speeds, giving players enough time to observe incoming attacks and react accordingly.

Parry also consumes very little energy, requiring only 10-15 energy peruse, while players have 100 energy and recover it quickly when they are not taking action.

This means Sword & Shield Mercenary effectively has four dodges along with an almost unlimited energy to parry. Against such a strong defensive setup, other melee classes struggle to cope.

Reverent Seer

Reverent Seer has multiple survival tools, including shields and healing. Even when enemies get close, it can knock them back and create an opportunity to escape. This gives players several ways to recover even after making mistakes.

Ranged Seer can be paired with Punishment Rune to frequently deal additional damage when Synergy is triggered. Intimidation Rune can instantly knock back melee attacks, while Decelerate reduces the opponent's movement speed by 70%, making it difficult for them to close the distance and allowing Seer to maintain strong ranged pressure.

The main weakness of the Reverent Seer is its limited ability to chase opponents, but its survivability and strength in holding positions are more than enough to compensate for this weakness.

Blackarrow

Despite receiving nerfs, Blackarrow remains an S-tier class. It can counter melee classes as effectively as a Sorcerer, with the exception of Shadowstrix. Skilled Blackarrow players can kite their opponents almost indefinitely.

Blackarrow does not have any truly unfavorable matchups. Shadowstrix is a difficult matchup, but it is not an absolute counter, and a skilled Hunter can still secure a victory.

Tier A

Sorcerer

The biggest advantage of Sorcerer is that it does not have any truly unfavorable matchups. Against any class, a Sorcerer player will not be completely countered and will always have ways to respond.

Its most difficult matchup may be Shadowstrix, but a player with better mechanics can still win. However, good gear is needed for Sorcerer to fully realize its damage potential.

You can buy Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblod at IGGM.com to quickly equip your Sorcerer and skip the early, weak phase.

Sorcerer can effectively counter popular melee classes such as Withered Knight and Mercenary, giving it a meaningful advantage in the current meta.

Shadowstrix

Although Shadowstrix can reach S tier in 3v3 through constant movement and evasive play, its strength in 1v1 combat is only A tier. Shadowstrix does not automatically win its matchups, and players need to put in considerable effort to secure victories.

The class's core advantage is that it can escape with very little risk. However, this alone is not enough to place it in S tier. It is better suited to players who prefer safe looting and hit-and-run tactics.

Tier B

Blasphemer Seer

Blasphemer Seer is extremely difficult to kill and is one of the hardest classes in Mistfall Hunter to catch. If an opponent makes a mistake, it can quickly secure a kill.

However, its attacks have noticeable animations, its cooldowns are relatively long, and it struggles against highly mobile ranged classes. Shadowstrix is a clear unfavorable matchup because it can effectively counter melee Blasphemer Seer by quickly moving in and out of combat.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight had several issues fixed in August 12 update, but the changes still failed to improve the class's overall position.

Mercenary completely counters it, while Sorcerer and Blackarrow can also counter it effectively. Against most classes, Withered Knight struggles to gain a meaningful advantage.

Withered Knight's skills are too telegraphed, allowing opponents with sufficient skill to dodge them easily. Against Shadowstrix, Sorcerer, or Blackarrow, Withered Knight players need to work much harder than their opponents to secure a victory.

3v3

Mistfall Hunter 3v3 Class Tier List

Tier S

Stardust Sorcerer

Stardust Sorcerer is currently the undisputed strongest class in 3v3. Its AoE skills and heavy attacks can instantly destroy opponents, while some skills can be cast repeatedly with short cooldowns, making the class extremely oppressive. It is the public enemy of every player in 3v3.

Hammer Mercenary

Hammer Mercenary is currently the second-strongest class in 3v3, but it is heavily underrated. In 1v1 combat, its hammer skills can sometimes have noticeable wind-ups, but in the chaos of a 3v3 team fight, teammates can force opponents to use their movement and dodge skills, creating the perfect environment for Hammer Mercenary to deal damage.

Once Hammer Mercenary finds an opening, the burst damage from a single skill can far exceed that of other builds. The hammer specialization provides extremely high armor, durability, and damage. Its only weakness is its relatively slow skill execution, but this weakness is easy to compensate for with proper team coordination.

Shadowstrix

Shadowstrix is stronger in 3v3 than in 1v1 combat. Its strength lies in exploiting opponents' mistakes or striking during gaps in their skill rotations.

In addition, the class has one of the strongest 3v3 skills in Mistfall Hunter, Crows Storm. When combined with the appropriate talents, it can create stuns and area denial across a large area. When coordinated with a Sorcerer or Hammer Mercenary teammate, it can directly lead to an instant kill.

Reverent Seer

Reverent Seer is also an S-tier class in 3v3, and its team-wide shields and sustained damage are difficult to replace. An ideal meta lineup should choose three of the four classes listed above.

Tier A

Black Arrow

A-tier. It provides consistent ranged damage and a safe environment for dealing damage. Although its “Booger Bomb” skill can be annoying, it can be handled easily if the team has a Sorcerer.

Blasphemer Seer

With Thorn Sigil, team knockback, and a powerful shield lasting 6-7 seconds, Blasphemer Seer can provide solid support for the team.

Tier B

Parry Mercenary

Parry Mercenary performs poorly in 3v3 and is only B-tier because opponents can simply ignore it. It can be left until the end.

The biggest weakness of Parry Mercenary is its lack of damage. If the team focuses on its teammates, Parry Mercenary can neither provide effective protection nor pose a lethal threat. In a 3v1 situation, Parry Mercenary has virtually no impact.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight biggest counter is Hammer Mercenary, which is almost a direct upgrade over it. If a match does not feature a hammer-based class, Withered Knight's Thorn Guide can still have some value, but its utility is difficult to match against the top-tier classes.

Although the current meta is not balanced, you do not have to play only meta classes. You can try every class to become familiar with their skills while improving your overall mechanics.
