EA FC 27 Ultimate Team Changes Leak: One-Click Complete SBC and More New Features to elevate your gaming experience!
Category: FC 27 Posted: Jun 09, 2026 Views: 17
Scheduled for release on September 24, FC 27 promises significant innovations compared to its predecessor (the ongoing FC 26), such as the highly anticipated new feature, The Grounds.
However, don't let these new additions distract you from the series' core mode: Ultimate Team! This mode offers a wide range of gameplay experiences and serves as the primary source for farming FC 27 coins.
Here, we focus on Ultimate Team, outlining potential adjustments for FIFA 27 to ensure you can successfully generate rewards and progress once the game launches.

Ultimate Team gameplay overview
As the most popular and vital mode across FIFA to EA FC series, Ultimate Team begins by providing you with a starter squad. You can use this team to engage in various activities and earn packs or coins.
You can then use these resources to unlock new players and expand your collection, building a stronger squad to win more matches and generate greater rewards.
Additionally, Ultimate Team features a transfer market for trading player cards, mechanics for boosting player performance through specific combinations, and regular promos, launched based on real-world matches or game traditions, that allow you to unlock new cards.
Current Ultimate Team activities include Division Rivals, Champions, and more frequently updated features like Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and Objectives.
Ultimate Team in FC 27
Since Ultimate Team is a massive system, we will categorize potential changes in FUT 27 based on known information (including leaks) and specific in-game modes.
Will SBCs be optimized?
As a primary method for earning promo cards and packs, the challenge of SBCs lies not in complex gameplay mechanics, but in the strict requirements placed on your club's squad.
This mode requires you to assemble a team from your players while meeting multiple specific criteria, such as including players from the same nation or club, or keeping the total chemistry rating below a certain limit.
Interestingly, recent rumors suggest that FUT 27 will introduce a one-click completion feature for SBCs. In fact, you may have previously used third-party tools or plugins to achieve this for the sake of convenience.
If implemented, this feature would drastically improve the efficiency of completing SBCs. More specifically, for large-scale or repeatable SBCs, player cards will feature an SBC value attribute.
With this in place, if an SBC requires a specific total rating, you can use the one-click complete button to finish it instantly; the system will automatically fill in the necessary players from your club.
However, the feature should allow you to exclude specific players, such as those currently undergoing an evolution or the first owner cards, from being used.
This ensures that when you use the one-click complete function, the system consumes only the players you don't need, thereby further optimizing the gameplay experience.
Potential changes to the evolution system
In FC series, the evolution system allows you to boost a player's stats and make them more powerful by completing specific objectives (such as playing matches in certain modes).
It is expected that within a single Evolution project in FIFA 27, you will have multiple path options. After completing each stage, you can choose a different upgrade direction for the player card. This means a single Evolution project could potentially yield various final upgrade outcomes.
If you are dissatisfied with the result, you can undo your last choice and completely reset the evolution project.
This allows you to continuously improve player abilities throughout the year and stick with the same squad, rather than frequently swapping players due to changing Evolution rules.
While changes aren't always positive, this particular adjustment appears to offer more benefits than drawbacks for the game as a whole.
New gallery feature
In addition to tweaking existing mechanics, EA FC 27 may introduce a new gallery feature to Ultimate Team, somewhat similar to the collection book seen in the past.
The gallery allows you to submit cards from your collection for grading and receive bonus rewards based on the results.
While the specific grading requirements and standards remain unclear, it stands to reason that cards with superior stats and higher OVR would achieve better grades, leading to more lucrative rewards. These rewards could include new rare players or cosmetic items, though details are not yet confirmed.
Once you pack a player in the game, they remain permanently in your collection, even if you sell them or submit them into SBCs; this means you can use the same player across multiple collections.
The final version might change, or the gallery feature might not even make the cut, but based on the current mechanics, it certainly looks like a great addition.
While it isn't a traditional sticker album in the sense that you don't actually have to part with your cards, it gives you a new goal to strive for: collecting every player in the game, or perhaps every player of a specific elite tier, in exchange for rewards.
Other potential adjustments
Beyond the notable new highlights for FC 27 Ultimate Team mentioned above, the development team is likely to fine-tune various competitive modes, addressing shortcomings from FUT 26 and incorporating player feedback.
In fact, Career Mode is also receiving major overhauls in FIFA 27, and player engagement is expected to rise once the game launches.
With the addition of the new The Grounds feature, you're going to be incredibly busy starting this September, but also thoroughly satisfied and having a blast!
