EA FC 27 New Confirmed Rumors Regarding Various Aspects: Reveal Date, Hall of Fame Cards, and More

Category: FC 27 Posted: Jul 01, 2026 Views: 9

We are about two weeks away from the expected start of pre-orders for FIFA 27. By then, the post-World Cup blues will give way to anticipation for the new virtual soccer game!

Although the game hasn't officially launched yet, certain new features are already confirmed, such as the open-world The Ground mode and updates to Ultimate Team and Career Mode.

Since then, a wave of rumors regarding new FUT 27 content has circulated within the community. While they all sound exciting, not all of them are necessarily true. Fortunately, some have already been confirmed!

EA FC 27 New Confirmed Rumors Regarding Various Aspects: Reveal Date, Hall of Fame Cards, and More

FC 27 official reveal date

We already know the game is set to launch on all available platforms on September 25th of this year, with a week of early access available for those who pre-order Ultimate Edition.

However, an official reveal must take place before pre-orders open and the early access phase begins.

The official reveal is now confirmed for July 14th. A trailer or promotional video is expected to drop then, unveiling new details such as gameplay features and licensing news.

More confirmed licenses

If you play EA FC 26, you know that the loss of the official FIFA license meant the absence of a true World Cup mode; instead, we got The World's Game Update, which skirted the issue.

While the game remains playable without the license, the lack of official rights can mean certain kits or stadiums are unavailable, a definite drawback for a sports franchise like FC that prides itself on realism.

To address this, FUT 27 is confirmed to bring back the Asian Cup and Liga MX. Additionally, partnerships have been secured with individual national teams that participated in the World Cup, such as Portugal and Brazil.

Speaking of Brazil, collaborations with Brazilian clubs have deepened, including deals with Bahia, Botafogo FR, Atlético Mineiro, CR Flamengo, and more.

In fact, EA has already secured image rights for players from many Brazilian clubs but appears hesitant to utilize them, as the development team hopes to eventually obtain the license for the entire Brazilian league.

The good news is that there is mutual interest here; according to official reports, Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and its president are keen for Brazilian league to officially feature in FUT 27, or perhaps FUT 28 or 29, to promote Brazilian football globally.

Discussions are ongoing, and the specific licensing format for the game remains undecided. However, we certainly hope to see the full Brazilian league included in FIFA 27!

Optimizing Authentic Mode experience

When FIFA 26 introduced Authentic Mode, the goal was to provide a slower-paced yet highly realistic simulation experience, featuring more authentic player fatigue and tactical dynamics.

While the mode had its merits, the execution fell short in the details. For instance, players would sometimes appear to be swinging their legs in place while running without actually moving forward.

In other words, the design intended to create realism sometimes felt lackluster, resulting in a sense of artificial authenticity. Fortunately, the developers have promised optimizations for FIFA 27 to ensure these changes are clearly noticeable.

That said, if you are a PC player and remain unsatisfied with the official optimizations, you can always tweak the experience yourself using custom mods.

Regarding platforms, rumors circulating recently that FC 27 would skip last-gen consoles are completely baseless. A significant number of users have yet to upgrade their hardware, and they remain a crucial segment of the fanbase and potential audience for FUT 27.

However, even if a last-gen version is released, it will probably be a Legacy Edition. This means that while elements like player faces, kits, and gameplay mechanics may be updated, the visual presentation on the hardware will remain unchanged from previous iterations.

More details on Career Mode optimizations

Recent previews for FIFA 27 have revealed further details regarding Career Mode, signaling the direction for the game's future development.

For example, during interviews, players will provide real-time, varied responses based on pre-scripted lines, truly reflecting their individual voices. The interview process will feel more human, with players answering a wider range of questions.

It remains to be seen if these changes will actually come to fruition, but one can only hope they do, after all, the interview segments in FC 26 were abysmal, characterized by repetitive and stiff dialogue.

Regarding the transfer market, the development team is committed to introducing more transfer-related data in FC 27. When you plan to sign a player, you will see detailed information about them, including their injury history, training performance, and more.

Additionally, competition during the transfer process will intensify, with more clubs vying for the same players.

More Ultimate Team Updates

We previously mentioned that FIFA 27 Ultimate Team is expected to feature one-click SBC completion, Evolution modifications, and a sticker-album-style card collection mode.

Now, according to the latest news, a brand-new trading card category called Hall of Fame is also expected to be introduced. This category will feature legendary players, specifically those who have performed exceptionally well within FIFA game series.

The introduction of a new card category implies corresponding adjustments to gameplay and reward mechanics, promising to further enrich Ultimate Team experience.

However, please note that Hall of Fame is currently a tentative name and may change before the official release.

That covers the latest information regarding FIFA 27. More new content may be revealed this week, so stay tuned!
