  PTR begins at the exact same time as the 3rd Anniversary Celebration. Once it starts, you can log in, create a new character, and locate NPC named Morac.

  3rd Anniversary event schedule

  The celebration kicked off on June 2 at 10:00 AM PDT. The first events to go live are two classics you should already be quite familiar with: Mother's Blessing and March of the Goblins. These events will remain active until June 9, when the celebration concludes.

  Additionally, from 12:00 PM PDT on June 2 through the same time on June 6, Diablo 4 will offer a daily gift that can be claimed directly from the in-game shop, totaling five gifts in all. You have until June 9, the end of the anniversary event, to claim any of these gifts.

  Mother's Blessing

  This is a limited-time beneficial event. Aside from special milestones like anniversaries, Diablo 4 typically hosts this event during the mid-to-late stages of a season, allowing you to acquire more resources before the season concludes and thereby enhancing your overall gameplay experience.

  More specifically, during Mother's Blessing event, regardless of whether your character resides in Seasonal or Eternal Realm, the amount of gold dropped from any combat activity increases by 50%, while XP gained increase by 35%.

  Upon logging into the game, if you notice a small buff icon appearing above your experience bar, it signifies that Mother's Blessing is active, meaning you can start farming immediately!

  It is worth noting that while Mother's Blessing effect is active, other in-game gold and XP bonuses remain available; this means you can stack these effects to further maximize your final rewards.

  If your goal is to gain more XP, the best strategy is to utilize special Elixirs. If you are looking to acquire more gold, you can use Sigils with gold-boosting affixes and then clear Nightmare Dungeons.

  If you have unlocked Lord of Hatred expansion, you can also leverage Horadric Seal and War Plan Upgrade Tree nodes. For instance, Jade Epiphany node within The Undercity Upgrade Tree generates Experience Orbs for you whenever you increase your Attunement Level.

  

  March of the Goblins

  Once this event begins, various types of Treasure Goblins will spawn in large numbers across the world; defeating them yields substantial amounts of gold, crafting materials, or other valuable loot.

  Notably, if you wish to combine this event with Mother's Blessing to maximize your gold earnings, you should prioritize hunting down Gilded Baron goblins, which are distinguished by their yellow color.

  If you want to generally increase your chances of encountering various goblins, one effective method is to complete Avarice the Gold-Cursed World Boss encounter, as large groups of goblins will spawn throughout the battle.

  Additionally, Greed Shrines found within Nightmare Dungeons offer an excellent way to acquire gold. The shrine itself grants a temporary buff lasting approximately 15 to 30 seconds, causing enemies to drop gold whenever you strike them and simultaneously increasing your gold pickup radius.

  During March of the Goblins event, activating a Greed Shrine will spawn multiple Treasure Goblins, further amplifying your rewards. In addition to direct item drops, defeating Goblins allows you to earn event-specific reputation points on the dedicated reputation board.

  In Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred, nearly every class except the Paladin is far too powerful - even clearing The Pit up to level 150 feels effortless for them. However, this situation is clearly unsustainable, as the developers have no intention of letting players breeze through the high-difficulty content they designed.

  According to PTR 3.1 patch note, most classes have been nerfed. As a result, the various classes in Diablo 4 Season of Pandemonium are destined to be somewhat weaker than their counterparts in Season 13. We can therefore make some predictions about how each class will perform in Season 14.

  

  Tier S

  Rogue

  Rogue was already extremely strong in Season 13, boasting the most diverse selection of top-tier builds. After the update, it will only become stronger.

  Notably, the Spellbound Steel Talisman set - an infusion-focused set that previously suffered from numerous bugs - will be fixed. This could unlock multi-infusion builds. If that proves powerful, Rogue may well reach Tier S.

  Druid

  Season 13 patch introduced a cap on Barbarian's mechanic that generates Fury from taking damage, which may directly invalidate this build. Aspect of Limitless Rage has also been heavily nerfed. Dominate's per-stack effect has been reduced from 23.6% to 1.8% - another crippling blow.

  Although many Barbarian builds have been drastically weakened, some - like Wrath of the Berserker - have been buffed, so the class should not fall too low.

  Sorcerer

  The infinite stacking mechanics of Unstable Currents and Overwhelming Currents have been removed for Sorcerer, significantly slowing down those builds. However, given that Sorcerer could previously speed-clear level 150 without any exploits, this nerf is reasonable.

  Fire and frost builds may receive more attention due to the lightning nerfs. Still, Frozen Orb build remains underwhelming, having not received sufficient buffs, and Sorcerer's survivability issues remain unsolved. Consequently, Sorcerer may return to mediocrity in Season 14.

  

  Tier B

  Spiritborn

  The two best Spiritborn builds in Season 13 featured unlimited mobility, allowing players to hold down Rushing Claw for infinite dashes. PTR 3.1 removes that infinite mobility.

  That said, Spiritborn is not completely incapable of achieving infinite mobility - with the right runes or skill combinations, you can still manage it. But you may have to sacrifice some damage or survivability in return. Additionally, Swarm build has been slightly nerfed, and Armored Hide no longer provides Unstoppable.

  Spiritborn's mobility may lag behind other classes. It was roughly low-Tier S in Season 13; these nerfs might drop it to low-Tier A in Season 14.

  Warlock

  Even though Warlock did not stand out in Season 13, it has still been nerfed heading into Diablo 4 Season 14. Command Fallen Wrath's wrath generation has been reduced from 10 per attack to 8 and Command Valloch's Overpower have also been dialed down.

  Fortunately, these issues appear poised to be resolved with the launch of Season 14 at the end of June. Yet, this upcoming season will also bring about significant shifts in the game's meta, including nerfs to the majority of classes.

  As the new class introduced in Lord of Hatred, Warlock naturally garners a disproportionate amount of attention. In this analysis, we will examine the class's future prospects based on the recently released PTR 3.1.0 patch notes.

  

  Warlock's current performance

  Although Warlock initially captured the attention of most players upon its release, it quickly became apparent that its overall utility, as reflected in various class rankings, consistently hovered in the bottom half of the pack, frequently even landing in last place.

  Typically, a new class in Diablo 4 is designed to be inherently stronger than existing legacy classes; this serves as an incentive for players to try it out.

  More specifically, the builds that perform best in high-difficulty content often require a lengthy setup phase before their damage or defensive capabilities can reach their peak potential.

  The tricky part is that these high-performance builds also demand a constant, high-frequency input of button commands, a requirement that leads to rapid player fatigue.

  The moment your focus wavers or your execution falters, your character risks making a fatal error and being instantly killed.

  Additionally, there are various issues regarding gear; for example, many Unique items provide such negligible stat bonuses that they are simply not worth equipping.

  However, if you are fortunate enough to secure reliable Unique item drops, or if you socket them with gems, the end result can still be quite impressive.

  What changes does PTR 3.1.0 bring?

  Additionally, the resource cost for casting this skill has increased. Although its duration has been extended to compensate, the net effect is a slight decline in the overall power of Apocalypse builds, as their damage ceiling has been lowered.

  Another change targeting Apocalypse builds is even more critical: a direct nerf to Survivor upgrade option associated with Apocalypse skill itself.

  Previously, this upgrade ensured that any enemy surviving the initial Apocalypse strike would, for a short duration afterward, take an additional 100% bonus damage from all your subsequent attacks.

  This meant that Apocalypse skill's own second-stage strike would often benefit from this bonus, and it was precisely this second strike that generated the staggering burst damage peaks characteristic of Apocalypse builds.

  However, PTR has slashed this core burst damage component by a staggering 90%, a change likely to result in a substantial decline in the overall power of Apocalypse builds.

  That said, this shift may indirectly lead to a slight boost in the power of other Warlock builds, serving as a form of indirect compensation, to ensure Warlock's overall performance doesn't suffer too severely in the aftermath.

  3.1.0 PTR itself does include some buffs; for instance, two major skills, Fiend of Abaddon and Terror Swarm, have each received specific enhancements in certain areas.

  These improvements make them more viable as ultimate skills, perhaps even more so than before, and certainly make it more worthwhile to construct dedicated builds centered around them.

  

  Furthermore, another set of effects within Gloomwalker upgrade path has undergone some minor tweaks to provide you with a movement speed bonus.

  As for Wall of Agony, the changes have effectively doubled its damage reduction effect while simultaneously reducing its cooldown to two-thirds of its original duration.

  Finally, it is worth noting that in PTR environment, you will need to find a reliable method to ensure you can consistently apply Vulnerable status effect to enemies.

  Due to changes to the rune system on PTR, Ceh (Spirit Wolves) Rune will no longer apply Vulnerable debuff, a mechanic that, until now, served as the primary method for most Warlock builds to consistently apply this critical status effect.

  Summary

  In short, Warlock builds that have been underperforming are expected to receive buffs in 3.1.0 PTR, while those deemed overly powerful will undergo minor nerfs.

  Core Mechanics

  Hematolagnia enhancement for Blood Wave transforms it into a core skill, letting you cast it repeatedly by consuming Essence. However, you must first solve your resource generation issues.

  How to Generate Essence?

  Generating Essence relies mainly on two skills:

  • Sever: Produces Corpses.
  • Skeleton Mage: Summoned by consuming Corpses, and also provides Essence regeneration.

  Gift of Death enhancement for Skeleton Mage boosts Essence regeneration, but you need to keep at least one Skeleton Mage active on the field. Therefore, you should also take Litany of Death enhancement for your Skeleton Warriors, which allows your skeletons to cast Priest skills that heal Skeleton Mages.

  During normal combat, you should maintain at least one Skeleton Mage at all times. When you cast Blood Wave and consume Essence, Decrepify skill automatically triggers to curse enemies. Meanwhile, Blood Mist provides additional mobility.

  How to Sustain Essence?

  To maintain sufficient Essence, you need to stack Essence Regeneration on your Boots and Pants. In the early game, you can also put this stat on your Helmet and Chest Armor.

  With these three combined nodes, you'll continuously collect new Corrupted Roots from monster drops, creating a snowball loop of placing Corrupted Roots, killing monsters, getting weapon drops and new roots, and then continuing to place Corrupted Roots, almost without depleting your initial inventory.

  Weapon Type Locking

  The unique aspect of this location is that all Whisper Cache drops will only yield one-handed weapons.

  This is a playstyle tailor-made for Barbarians, as they require four weapons (two sets of dual-wielded one-handed weapons). Furthermore, the equipment you obtain often possesses Greater Affixes or crafting potential.

  Additional Helltide Boost
