Fast-Track to Torment 4! Diablo 4 Season 12 Endgame Progression | From Level 60 to Ancestral Gear

Thanks to Killstreak system in Diablo 4 Season 12, player leveling has become significantly faster. In previous seasons, if you were highly efficient, you could reach level 60 in about four hours. In Season 12, however, that time can be compressed to under two hours.
There's no real secret to it. If you can team up with other players to farm Helltides, you can achieve this too. So, once you hit this new starting line at level 60, what should you do next? Let's break down the steps you need to take from level 60 all the way into the endgame.

Initial Preparation
First, open your character sheet and confirm the leveling build you are using. Your core objective now is to enter Torment 1. To unlock this difficulty, you need to challenge The Pit and reach Tier 20 within the time limit. This is very straightforward and is something you might even accomplish before hitting level 60.
Once you've entered Torment 1, your primary goal is to get stronger quickly so you can start challenging the endgame boss encounters. It's crucial because only in Torment 1 and above do monsters begin to drop powerful Ancestral quality gear, which will give your build a significant power boost. Before you head off to face Lair Bosses, you can utilize your available resources for an initial power spike.
Gambling for Gear
You can gamble using Murmuring Obols at Purveyor of Curiosities. Prioritize the equipment slots your build needs, focusing on trying to get a better weapon. If your luck doesn't pan out and you don't get the ideal Ancestral weapon, using the best weapon you currently have is perfectly fine. If you obtain a better chest piece, be sure to equip that as well.
Claim Season Rewards
Don't forget to open Season Journey interface and check your accumulated rewards. Through farming Helltides and leveling up, you've built up a substantial amount of Season standing. Claiming these rewards will provide you with a wealth of gear and Aspects, which is a tremendous help in the early stages of the endgame.
Upgrading Your Gear
Whether you obtained new gear through farming or gambling, you'll need to give it some initial refinement.
Aspects
Open your Codex of Power and see which offensive Aspects are essential for your build. If you find a legendary item with one of these Aspects, even if the item itself isn't high-level, you can extract its power and imprint it onto your current main weapon or jewelry. This will cause a qualitative leap in your damage output.
Tempering
Similarly, use Tempering to add additional affixes to your gear. You don't need to be perfect at this stage; just choose the options that suit your build's requirements. Stats like Movement Speed and Cooldown Reduction are consistently excellent choices.
Endgame Farming
Now that you have a foundational level of power, you can begin farming efficiently within the endgame activities. By rotating through the following methods, you'll find your character's power and Paragon level increasing very rapidly.
Helltide
Even in the endgame, Helltide remains incredibly valuable for farming. When you enter a Helltide zone, focus your efforts on Blood Maiden. Defeating her not only drops Living Steel, used to summon Grigoire, but also yields a large amount of experience and Murmuring Obols.
You can utilize the experience gained from farming Helltides to increase your Paragon level. Pushing this towards level 300 will dramatically empower your build.
Murmuring Obols & Tree of Whispers
Check Tree of Whispers bounties on the map and prioritize completing those that align with your farming route, such as events within Helltide or running Nightmare Dungeons. Completing 10 favors to claim your reward from the Tree provides another solid influx of gear and materials.
The Pit
Even at lower tiers, The Pit offers experience and the crucial opportunity to upgrade your Glyphs. Remember, activating and leveling up your very first Glyph can result in nearly doubling your damage output.
Kurast Undercity
The Kurast Undercity is another dungeon well worth farming. Depending on the tribute you use, it can produce a large quantity of Lair Boss materials, Runewords, Diablo 4 gold, and more.
Perfecting Your Build
Some builds require specific Unique items to function at their best. While any Unique has a decent drop rate in Torment difficulties, certain Uniques are restricted to the loot pools of specific Lair Bosses. This means you will probably need to farm them repeatedly.
This is where the boss materials you've been accumulating come into play (note: challenging the boss doesn't cost materials, but opening the boss's treasure chest does). Once you've gathered the required materials, you can team up with others in Torment 1 and 2 to rotate through summoning and defeating these bosses. You and your friends can trade materials you need with each other, which is the fastest way to collect the required gear. After you successfully obtain the necessary Unique items, you can begin fine-tuning your build according to your guide.
After completing this transition, you'll notice a massive leap in your character's damage. At this point, you can push the difficulty up to Torment 4 and challenge higher tiers of The Pit. Even after successfully reaching Torment 4, your build can continue to improve. By following the cycle outlined above, you can obtain more materials and better gear to push your build's damage to its absolute limit.
Hope this information helps you smoothly navigate the level 60 transition and allows you to experience the joys of the endgame content more quickly.
