Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Warlock Build Tier List | The Overpowered Choice Everyone Is Switching To

Category: D2 Resurrected Posted: Feb 28, 2026 Views: 6248

Warlock class in Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 is undoubtedly the most popular class right now. It's the first new class added to Diablo 2 in 20 years, and even veteran players can enjoy a fantastic experience.

Warlocks currently have many powerful skills, but like Paladins in Diablo 4, these builds vary significantly in strength and playstyle. Let's take a look at some of the currently popular Warlock builds.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Warlock Build Tier List The Overpowered Choice Everyone Is Switching To

No. 5 Demon Summoning Warlock Build

While this build is one of the core gameplay elements of Warlock, it's not considered particularly strong. Its core is summoning demons to fight for you. You need to invest your skill points in Demon Mastery, summoning Tainted, and its synergistic skills.

You also need to pay attention to another important skill: Blood Boil. It allows your summoned demons to burst, causing additional blood and physical damage. However, this skill will damage your summoned creatures themselves. Therefore, you need to constantly use another skill, Engorge, to heal them and keep them alive.

The most interesting skill in this build is Bind Demon. This skill allows you to permanently bind any demon you encounter in the game to your side, even after exiting and returning.

This means you can find and bind a demon with Conviction Aura and Cursed, greatly enhancing your and your summons' damage output, as your damage type is a mix of physical and elemental.

No. 4 Abyss Miasma Chain Warlock Build

This build primarily deals Magic Damage, similar to Blessed Hammer Paladin in Diablo 4 or a Necromancer using bone-based skills. It boasts considerable damage output.

For skill points, you can simply invest in core damage skills. The key here is that magic-immune monsters are unmanageable before their immunity is broken. Therefore, this build relies on a skill that generates fire explosions or Sigil Death to deal with magic-immune monsters, or lets your summons handle them.

Additionally, Consume increases your magic damage. By consuming your Defiler, you can reduce enemy magic resistance through equipment and skills. Combined with Magic Sunder Charms, you can eventually handle all types of enemies.

No. 3 Fire Warlock Build

This build is clearly focused on fire damage. Apocalypse reduces enemy fire resistance and deals significant damage.

Its skill point allocation is very simple: just max out your primary fire damage skills and their synergistic abilities. Similarly, you can Consume your Tainted for additional fire damage and reduction in enemy fire resistance. The most difficult enemies to deal with are those with high fire resistance.

Other skills only require 1 point for prerequisites or utility. Since equipment provides many skill levels, these 1-point skill points are actually quite effective, even so powerful that they might be nerfed in the future.

No. 2 Eldritch Blast Warlock Build

Eldritch Blast Warlock Build is a hybrid build combining melee and spellcasting. While it may not be widely tried yet, it's incredibly fun to play and ranks second in strength among Warlock Builds. If the build discussed below is nerfed, it's likely to become the new top choice.

The core mechanic combines Eldritch Blast with Hex: Purge. First, you need to activate Hex: Purge, which gives you a high chance to apply Hex when you hit an enemy. Hexed enemies take additional magic damage and pulse around you with magical damage. Crucially, hexed enemies have a chance to explode, dealing significant magic damage to other nearby enemies.

The primary way to apply Hex to surrounding enemies is through Cleave skill, a melee AoE attack. While the physical damage itself isn't particularly high, its main purpose is to apply Hex mark to a large area of enemies. Once the mark is successfully placed, your Eldritch Blast will begin pulse magic damage, and marked enemies will also explode in a chain reaction, capable of wiping out a large group of monsters.

Another huge advantage of this build is its survivability. Magic damage also provides up to 20% Life Steal, making you exceptionally resilient when combined with high health.

No.1 Echoing Strike Warlock Build

Echoing Strike Warlock is currently the strongest Warlock build. Its damage is immense, and in the late game, almost no monster can stop you. However, note that this is a pure physical damage melee build, so it will be difficult to deal with enemies with high physical resistance in the early game.

Additionally, Echoing Strike has very high mana consumption, requiring many mana potions in the early game. This problem will be solved with Insight weapon, or by relying on mana leech affixes.

Skill point allocation is very simple. You just need to put all your core points into Echoing Strike, and then combine it with some synergy skills like Blade Warp and Mirrored Blades to increase damage and attack accuracy. These skills only require 1 point each.

Regarding Hex skill selection, if you lack attack speed, you can use Hex: Purge; if your attack speed is sufficient, Hex: Bane can reduce monster defense, both of which increase your damage.

In terms of attack style, this build is very flexible. You can control the spread by adjusting your targeting distance to spread the blades of Echoing Strike (click nearby) or make it very focused like Multishot (click far away). Moreover, its attack range is long, so you don't even need to teleport to the monster as frequently as other melee classes.

Warlock has many interesting playstyles, most of which are quite fun, but to truly make them powerful, you also need to find suitable equipment for them.
