Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Statue Farming and Boss Speed Routes | The Fastest Way to Unlock a Powerful Jewel

Category: D2 Resurrected Posted: Mar 13, 2026 Views: 1964

Diablo 2 Resurrected season 13 has introduced numerous items, among which is an exceptionally powerful gem, Guardian's Thunder Jewel. It provides greater resistance reduction, enhanced damage, and several other properties compared to standard versions.

However, it comes with a limitation: each piece of equipment your character wears can only socket one such jewel. This means you cannot fill your entire gear set with these gems.

To obtain Guardian's Thunder Jewel, you need to defeat several powerful Colossal Ancient Bosses. But before challenging them, you must complete a series of prerequisite steps, the most crucial of which is farming five different Statues.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Statue Farming and Boss Speed Routes | The Fastest Way to Unlock a Powerful Jewel

Statues

These statues are essential materials for challenging Colossal Ancients. You acquire them by defeating Act bosses that are under the influence of Terror Zones. Each Act boss has a chance to drop their corresponding statue, with a total of five, one for each of the game's five Acts.

  • Talic's Anguish (from Andariel)
  • Korlic's Pain (from Duriel)
  • Madawc's Ire (from Mephisto)
  • Bul-Kathos' Nightmare (from Diablo)
  • Worusk's End (from Baal)

Each Act boss primarily drops the statue associated with them. While theoretically, any terrorized Act boss has a very small chance to randomly drop any of the statues, the most efficient method is to specifically farm the corresponding boss.

This means you must repeatedly defeat terrorized Act bosses, and since the statue drops are entirely based on chance, getting to the boss faster and more efficiently becomes key. Below, we will reveal speed-running tips for each Act boss.

If you plan on farming them, it is highly recommended to prepare a weapon with Teleport charges. This can greatly enhance your map traversal efficiency. When using it, be mindful that repairing it costs a significant amount of gold, so picking up items with +skills along the way and selling them for gold can cover the repair costs.

Act 1 Andariel

First, teleport to Catacombs Level 2 and enter the first level of the sewers. The map generation here follows a very consistent pattern. In most cases, once you enter a new level, always keeping to the right wall will lead you to the downward entrance fastest.

You can identify your location by checking the minimap, but simply following the right-wall rule helps you avoid traversing the entire map unnecessarily. Although there are rare instances requiring consecutive left turns, sticking to the right wall remains the most efficient starting strategy.

However, from the second level onwards, there is no fixed shortcut. You'll need to guess and check, using fast teleportation to explore and find the entrance to the next level.

Act 2 Duriel

First, you need to teleport to Arcane Sanctuary and locate the summoner. Around him, you will see several floating, glowing symbols. Observe which symbol is missing. The missing symbol corresponds to the true tomb where Duriel resides. You need to remember which symbol represents which tomb. If a particular symbol is missing among all the symbols present, then the true tomb is the one whose entrance portal has that missing symbol.

After entering the correct tomb, you need to find the downward entrance. Duriel's tomb is always the largest among all the tombs. Some exploration is also required here to find the doorway leading to Duriel's chamber.

Act 3 Mephisto

First, you need to enter Durance of Hate Level 2. This map is very large, but there is a general pattern for finding the downward entrance. Approximately 70% of the time, the entrance to the third level is located in the left half of the map. Although it can occasionally appear on the right half or even the center, prioritizing exploration on the left side can save you considerable time.

Upon reaching the third level, if you are using a ranged class, you can utilize the classic terrain advantage. Lure Mephisto to a specific spot on the map and attack him across the moat. As long as you stay out of his line of sight, he won't attack you, allowing you to defeat him very safely.

Act 4 Diablo

After entering Chaos Sanctuary, your goal is to quickly activate the three seals and defeat the seal bosses summoned at each seal point. Once you defeat the final seal elite monster, all remaining non-elite monsters currently on the map will instantly die and drop items.

You can teleport directly to each seal point, activate the seals sequentially, and defeat the appearing elite monsters without bothering to clear other minor mobs along the way. After defeating all three elite monsters, Diablo will appear.

If you want to maximize your acquisition of Diablo 2 Resurrected Runewords or bases items, you can quickly teleport across the entire map just before activating the last seal. This causes all monsters to spawn, and then defeating the final elite monster will make them all die at once and drop their loot.

Using this method, from entering Chaos Sanctuary to defeating Diablo, with practice, it can even be compressed to around 20 seconds.

Act 5 Baal

First, you need to enter Worldstone Keep Level 2. The map generation pattern here is very similar to Andariel's sewers in Act 1. In the vast majority of cases, starting from the entrance, always keeping to the right wall will lead you to the downward staircase fastest. This helps you quickly avoid those annoying Soul monsters.

The second level also has no particular shortcuts and requires exploration. Upon reaching Throne, you must face the five waves of monsters preceding Baal, after which he will appear. Although there are some techniques that allow you to potentially skip monsters, defeating these five waves is the more reliable approach.

Except for Andariel, whose statue drop rate sees a negligible increase with more players, the drop rates for statues from all other bosses remain largely unaffected by player count. Therefore, unless you can ensure defeating bosses instantly at higher difficulties, it is advisable for efficiency's sake to stick to a difficulty level where you can dispatch them with ease.

These are some techniques for farming statues in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Wishing you good fortune in your farming endeavors, and may your efforts be rewarded each time.
