Season 4 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially kicks off at 12:00 PM (ET) on June 4th. This season is packed with content: alongside updates to Zombies mode, both Multiplayer and Endgame mode receive fresh additions.
Zombies mode alone gains a new map and a major story advancement, while Endgame mode welcomes a new operation and substantial operator overhauls. Let's focus on these two areas to see what you can play in Season 4.

Zombies Mode
Survival Map: Nuked
Nuked map brings you back to the iconic street between the yellow house and the greenhouse. However, peace and beauty are long gone - everything here has been corrupted. The main threats are zombie residents and their radiation hounds.
Players can search the map for classic elements such as Perk Sodas and Mystery Box. The area stretches from a dead end all the way to Trinity Avenue. Your goal is to eliminate as many of the undead as possible.
This map is actually half of Paradox Junction zone, including the rear area near Pack-a-Punch machine. Completing certain rounds yields the following rewards:
- Round 10: "Population: Just You" Animated Emblem and 1,000 XP
- Round 25: "Dead End" Weapon Charm and 2,500 XP
- Round 50: "Time Out" GobbleGum and 5,000 XP
Directed Mode: Totenreich
Directed Mode for Totenreich is now available. Players explore an ancient fishing village and encounter new enemies, including the souls of undead Viking warriors called Necropincers. You can seek out Jotunn Star Melee Wonder Weapon and steal the souls of your foes. Those who complete Directed Mode will receive Dead Man's Drip Operator Skin, a Calling Card, and some XP.
Starting Room: Totenreich
Starting Room mode for Toten Reich is also open. Here you have access to Mystery Box, Wallbuy (Coda 9), Ammo Cache, Quick Revive, Rampage Inducer, and GobbleGum Machine.
This mode is extremely difficult: there is no Pack-a-Punch, no crafting table, no arsenal workbench, and you may not even be able to obtain a fishing rod. Here are the rewards you can earn:
- Round 10: "Flavor Hex" GobbleGum and 1,000 XP
- Round 25: "Cold Reel" Calling Card and 2,500 XP
- Round 50: "Aether Fisher" Calling Card and 5,000 XP
Permanent Mode: Rogue Run
Rogue Run is a fast-paced Roguelite mode that reimagines traditional round-based Zombies gameplay.
Each player starts with a random common-rarity pistol that has infinite ammunition. After clearing every round, you are teleported to an area where you must choose one of three rewards from different pools (utility upgrades, weapons, perks, field upgrades, ammo mods, etc.).
Main weapons also have infinite ammo, with the exception of Wonder Weapons and underbarrel attachments. If you fail to select a reward within the time limit, the system will choose one for you.
Completing playlist challenges grants permanent in-match bonuses and stronger reward options. These upgrades affect all subsequent Rogue Run games.
Below are the 5 Rogue Run playlists and their rewards:
Target: Luci
- Round 5: "Who's Keeping Score?" GobbleGum and 1,000 XP
- Round 15: Weapons Rogue Run Reward Feature and 2,500 XP
- Defeat Luci: Aether Tools Rogue Run Reward Feature and 5,000 XP

- Round 20: Armor Upgrades Rogue Run Reward Feature and 2,500 XP
- Round 30: Rare Starting Pistol Rogue Run Reward Feature and 5,000 XP
Kowakujō
Kowakujō is a brand-new round-based Zombies map set in a feudal Japanese castle near an active volcano. Here you will encounter supernatural new Wonder Weapons, Hellping Hound GobbleGums, and deadly new enemies. The map may include dynamic environmental elements, such as lava flows that cut off certain paths.
According to the official description, Hellping Hound is a rare GobbleGum, although the image they released shows it as epic-tier. This GobbleGum will also be introduced in the mid-season update, but the developers have not yet revealed its effect.
As players had guessed, Kowakujō indeed involves Japanese and volcanic themes. However, this map will not be released until Season 4 Reloaded update - so you will have to wait until mid-July to actually play it.
Furthermore, the development team has confirmed that the final Zombies map will arrive in Season 5 Reloaded, indicating that the story of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies is heading toward its ultimate climax.
Endgame
Endgame is another major focus of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 4 adjustments.
Operation Wall Breaker
Season 4 kicks off a brand-new operation along with a "Glitch Fracture" event, and the final operation as well as the last Glitch Fracture will arrive during Reloaded update.
This content launches as Act III, requiring players to find weaknesses in Guild's defensive line on Avalon.
Command Killer Glitch
The final showdown takes place inside Command Killer Glitch Fracture, where you face wave after wave of powerful enemies on Nightmare Difficulty.
Defeating Command Killer Glitch Boss while using operators 50/50, Razor, or Faulkner rewards you with an exclusive "Shatter Shock" operator skin.
Operator Prestige System
To allow players to build truly unique task force members, the official team has made another significant adjustment. Once an operator's Combat Rating reaches its maximum level, you can choose to enter Prestige 1, which resets CR, skills, and loadouts.
Each Prestige level unlocks stronger capabilities:
- Prestige 1: Grants an additional Exotic skill slot.
- Prestige 2: Grants an additional Nightmare skill slot.
- Prestige 3: Allows equipping a fourth Skill Track.
Additionally, Season 4 will introduce new skills. While Major Ability will be available at launch, Minor Ability and skill trees will not arrive until Reloaded update.
- Death Machine (Major Ability): Provides immense firepower at the cost of reduced movement speed.
- Psych Grenade (Minor Ability): Allows players to use gas against Guild.
- Guardian (Skill Tree): This tank-oriented skill tree lets you absorb more damage and even reflect some of it. One skill within this tree can automatically revive a teammate who falls near you.
Just by looking at Zombies mode and Endgame, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 already offers a wealth of content. How exciting all this really is, however, you will have to discover for yourself by jumping in and playing.
