ARC Raiders Burletta Review: Why This Budget Pistol is Outperforming the Post-Nerf Kettle? The New Secondary Meta?
Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Jan 19, 2026 Views: 3484
Today, we're introducing Burletta, a semi-automatic pistol from ARC Raiders, and one of the cheapest weapons in the game to date. This might be one reason why it's so undervalued, as most players equate weapon performance and damage with its price. However, I must say, in some aspects, Burletta will absolutely exceed your expectations, such as its agility.
It's a very reliable gun capable of dealing massive damage, sometimes even killing shielded players faster than Epic Tier 4 Vulcano and Tempest. But please note, I don't mean it's the strongest weapon; we just want to emphasize that if you can fully utilize its potential, Burletta does have the opportunity to surpass most weapons in the game.
Next, we'll analyze this relatively niche Burletta pistol, introducing some of its stats and explaining how to maximize its performance, recommended attachments, upgrade paths, and more.

Burletta Stats
- Ammo: Light Ammo
- Magazine Size: 12
- Firing Mode: Semi-Automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Weak
- Damage: 10
- Range: 41.7
- Stability: 74.5
- Agility: 84.4
- Stealth: 24
Damage
First, Burletta's damage and headshot multiplier are exactly the same as Kettle, which was recently nerfed in patch 1.11.0. Specifically, it deals 10 damage per body hit and 25 damage per headshot.
Fire Rate
Considering this is a pistol, you might expect a slower rate of fire but higher damage, so this damage figure isn't particularly impressive. However, in reality, if you press the button quickly, Burletta's rate of fire can reach almost 7.5 rounds per second. Some players even claim you can further increase the rate of fire. But in our personal testing, 7.5 rounds per second is generally consistent with its actual rate of fire stats.
Recoil & Bullet Dispersion
Regarding its recoil and bullet displacement, we can't provide a specific numerical value, so we can only give you a more intuitive understanding by comparing Burletta to other weapons. Overall, we think a comparison to Kettle pistol is appropriate. Both weapons have similar maximum displacement, but Burletta's displacement is faster than Kettle's, so in this respect, we think Kettle pistol is superior.
However, in Hip Firing, we did notice a significant difference in performance between Burletta and Kettle pistol. Whether in initial shots or maximum displacement, Burletta performs far better than Kettle, so if you enjoy hip firing, Burletta might be your best choice.
Agility
But what truly makes Burletta stand out is its agility, unmatched by any other weapon in the game. Its agility is even 44% higher than Kettle's. That's amazing!
Weapon Agility Explained
So, what exactly does high agility do? First, agility doesn't affect sprint speed while holding a gun. So whether you're holding a Burletta or a Kettle, the speed is the same. This finding is very disappointing, as we thought this was the point of agility, but it's not.
Furthermore, stamina depletion is the same when equipped with this pistol, so agility has no effect here either. The same applies to climbing or vaulting while holding a gun; there's no difference.
But don't rush to say this gun is garbage, because we noticed a difference in two different actions.
First is aiming. With Burletta, achieving perfect accuracy from initial aim takes only one-third of a second; while with Kettle, it takes 0.55 seconds to achieve the same result. Therefore, Burletta's aiming speed is much faster.
Another action affected by agility is weapon switching. When switching from other weapons to Burletta pistol, it only takes 1 second to prepare to fire. In contrast, switching to Kettle takes 1.4 seconds. Switching from unarmed to Burletta takes even less time, only 0.75 seconds; Kettle, on the other hand, takes a full second.
This is where I noticed the agility - essentially weapon control. Therefore, Burletta is better suited as a secondary weapon; you can quickly switch to it to finish off enemies, making it an excellent choice.
Weapon Crafting & Upgrading
To obtain Burletta, crafting is clearly a more efficient option than aimlessly searching the map. Once you find the blueprint and accumulate enough materials, everything is a breeze. In fact, you can also directly buy ARC Raiders Burletta blueprint in IGGM, eliminating all uncertainties.
Besides the blueprint, the materials required to craft and upgrade Burletta include:
- 3 × Mechanical Components
- 3 × Simple Gun Parts
Burletta II
- 1 × Burletta I
- 3 × Mechanical Components
- 1 × Simple Gun Parts
Burletta III
- 1 × Burletta II
- 3 × Mechanical Components
- 1 × Simple Gun Parts
Burletta IV
- 1 × Burletta III
- 4 × Mechanical Components
- 1 × Simple Gun Parts
However, in my opinion, the most interesting aspect of Burletta isn't its agility. It's that upgrading Burletta has a negligible effect, to the point that many players feel it's completely unnecessary.
Upgrading doesn't improve its accuracy, increase ammo capacity, or improve its kill time or agility in any way. The only differences between Burletta I and Burletta IV are reload speed and durability.
Burletta I have a 3-second reload time, while Burletta IV's reload time is reduced to 1.5 seconds. So, is it really worth spending 10 Mechanical Components and 3 Simple Gun Parts to reduce reload time by 1.5 seconds? I have to say, I seriously doubt it.
More importantly, a 3-second reload time isn't actually that slow; it's about the same speed as Kettle IV. This means that aside from reload speed, Burletta I's performance is already near its peak, making the upgrade almost pointless and a poor value proposition.
Worst & Best Attachments
Finally, I want to say that, like many other weapons in ARC Raiders, Burletta pistol needs the right attachments to truly unleash its power. So, let's look at all the attachments that can be installed on this pistol and how we should craft it.
First, let's eliminate some unsuitable attachments. Extended Barrel is useless for Burletta because it only slightly increases bullet velocity, which is typically useful for long-range engagements with precision weapons. It's completely redundant for Burletta, as you really don't need to use it at long range.
Silencer is another attachment we don't recommend. While it sounds cool, you'll mostly use it in PvE mode, primarily to prevent other ARCs or enemy players from hearing your gunfire. However, this usually applies to long-range weapons. Burletta, on the other hand, is a close-range weapon, so enemies will know your firing position, anyway.
Now let's talk about the truly useful attachments for Burletta, which actually surprised me a bit.
First, Muzzle Brake is a good choice; it significantly improves accuracy. If you're firing rapidly with Burletta without any attachments, you'll find the muzzle often sways left and right several times, causing you to miss several bullets during long practice sessions. But with Muzzle Brake, this sway is significantly reduced.
Now, Compensator is also excellent. It reduces bullet spread and helps your Burletta's crosshair return to its initial position faster, improving accuracy in subsequent shots.
Finally, of course, there's Extended Light Mag. A good Light Mag Attachment provides a tremendous boost, giving you 22 rounds of ammo. This means you can easily kill one or two players without reloading, depending on your accuracy. You can fire continuously without worrying too much about running out of ammo mid-combat.
In short, I personally feel Burletta is better suited as a secondary weapon, and it works exceptionally well with Anvil. You can land a heavy hit with Anvil, then switch to Burletta for a quick finisher. Burletta's high mobility is practically tailor-made for this playstyle. So remember to bring it on your next raid; it might just save your life!
