ARC Raiders Week 13 Trials Guide | Minimal Matches Unlock 3-Star Rewards

New week, and new trials. Cold Snap map condition is closed, so the snowballing trials will no longer appear. This week's missions focus more on damaging ARC.
Since the five trial missions are spread out, to quickly achieve a full three-star, you can complete them in three separate matches, rather than compressing them into one or two. Let's take a look at how to complete the trials.

Trial Overview
The complete set of trials for Week 13 is as follows:
- Damage Queens or Matriarchs Trial
- Search First Wave Husks Trial
- Damage Flying ARC Enemies Trial
- Deal Damage to Shredders Trial
- Open ARC Probes Trial
Normal matches last only 30 minutes, but special map conditions like Night Raid and Electromagnetic Storm can extend match time and provide double trial points, making it easier to achieve three stars.
This week's trials include two missions that target specific ARCs. It's recommended to complete these two trials separately, and the other three trials can be completed in a single match.
Damage Queens or Matriarchs Trial
- Recommended Maps: Dam Battlegrounds
This trial is undoubtedly the riskiest and most challenging. It's generally recommended to target Queen, as this is safer and less risky, while Matriarchs are more challenging. Due to ARC Raiders' matchmaking system, the specific strategy depends on whether you are in a PvP or PvE lobby.
PvP Strategy
In PvP lobby matches, Queen isn't the only threat, and you need to be wary of the rats who might ambush you from behind after you kill Queen.
In this case, it's recommended to go to the main Power Generation Complex and reach the roof (using either a zipline or a snap hook). From here, you can use Osprey sniper rifle to attack Queen from below, while watching out for rats climbing onto the roof.
Player coordination in the PvP lobby is usually inefficient, and Queen won't be defeated quickly, giving you ample time to inflict the necessary damage. Try to aim at her exposed areas, or you can use Bettina to tear through her armor plates first.
PvE Strategy
In the PvE lobby, the situation is exactly the opposite. There are no rats here, and player coordination is extremely efficient, and Queen is often killed within minutes, so you must deal damage quickly. Even with Equalizer, you might not be able to deal enough damage before Queen is destroyed. Therefore, you'll need to try different strategies, and your spawn point location will require a bit of luck.
You need to quickly find a safe position that completely avoids Queen's attacks but is close enough to use a grappling hook. If you don't have a grappling hook, you can try using Wolfpacks, but this setup is quite expensive.
Once you reach the right position, attack Queen with Bettina. When Queen's attention is drawn to other players, immediately run to her and use the grappling hook to jump onto her brain.
If the core hasn't been exposed yet, you need to break the outer shell first, then place two Deadline explosives on Queen's core. After placing the explosives, quickly roll off Queen and move as far away as possible to avoid being injured by Deadline.
Two Deadlines plus some bullet damage should be enough to complete the mission with a three-star rating. While this setup requires a significant amount of materials, it's essential in a well-equipped PvE lobby.
Deal Damage to Shredders Trial
- Recommended Map: Stella Montis
Shredders are not as dangerous as Queen. The difficulty of this trial lies more in finding Shredders and competing with other players to find them, but they spawn more frequently. You recommend using Anvil or IL Toro rifles during Night Raids to speed things up.
In Night Raids, destroying about four Shredders is sufficient, and in Day Raids, you'll need to destroy eight. Be aware that attacks from other players may affect your damage output.
Suggested Search Route:
- Start from Lobby.
- Head to Business Center.
- Go down to Atrium.
- Go down the stairs and use the zipline to enter Cultural Archives.
- Return to the upper level and repeat this route.
Alternatively, you can enter Metro area, use the shortcut to Assembly area, and check Sandbox area.
Other spawn points include the area between Assembly area and Medical Research, inside Medical Research area, Loading Bay, the underground area, Seed Vault area, and Lobby Metro.
Other Trials
The remaining trials can be completed during a single Electromagnetic Storm event. The recommended map is The Blue Gate, but Spaceport or Dam are also viable options. Note that ARC Probes and First Wave Husks typically spawn at the map edges.
Damage Flying ARC Enemies Trial
First, you need to damage Flying ARC units. It's recommended to shoot down a few Rocketeers, which usually yields most of the points. You may also need to shoot down some Wasps or Hornets later.
For each Rocketeers, you can use Osprey to alternately fire at their thrusters to distract them and lure them into a suitable position. Then switch to Burletta, find cover, and focus fire on their main body. Note that the mission is to damage, not destroy, them.
If dealing with two Rocketeers simultaneously is too much, try taking them out one by one. Of course, having a Wolfpack Rocket Launcher will make the process much easier.
After dealing damage to the flying ARC units, head to Trappers Glade. Along the way, use Osprey to shoot down small ARC units to earn points.
Open ARC Probes Trial
Watch for smoke in the distance, and that's usually an ARC Probe, and Gas stations are spawn hotspots. You only need to open three Probes. Even if other players have already opened them, you can still search for mission points.
Search First Wave Husks Trial
Wave Husks The spawn locations are fixed, but not 100% guaranteed. You can use third-party applications to view images of spawn points marked by other players. You need to search seven to achieve a three-star rating.
There are three types: Rocketeer Husk, Wasp Husk, and Baron Husk. Opening Baron's husk will unleash a fire shockwave, so be careful.
That concludes the overview of this week's trials. Hopefully, you can successfully achieve three stars and obtain the epic Blueprints!
