ARC Raiders Update 1.11.0 Augment Tier List | Stop Wasting Resources on These Epics!

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Jan 15, 2026 Views: 2485

ARC Raiders update 1.11.0 reduced Kettle's rate of fire cap for PvP and adjusted Trigger 'Nade. However, the balance of Augments, one of the game's core systems, remained largely unchanged.

Some Epic-level enhancement mods are even less useful than Rare Augments due to insufficient capacity or useless passive effects. So let's look at which Augments are the best in the current meta and what the shortcomings of others are.

ARC Raiders Update 1.11.0 Augment Tier List | Stop Wasting Resources on These Epics!

Tier C

The initial Augments in the game, providing only basic functionality.

Free Loadout

Free Loadout is almost the starting point for all players, providing some free gear and weapons, so some players might consider it at least Tier S. However, from a pure combat perspective, the weapons it provides are weak, the capacity is small, and most importantly, it removes the only safe pocket. This means that once you die, you lose everything.

Some players looking for ARC Raiders blueprints prefer to participate in raids empty-handed, so at least they have a safe pocket to use.

Augments Mark I

Augments Mark I all have a secure pocket and can carry more items, making them more functional. In terms of combat, both Combat Mk. 1 and Tactical Mk. 1 can carry heavy shields.

However, given that these three types of Augments are generally only used in the early game, Looting Mk. 1, with its larger storage space, might be the best among them.

Tier B

These Augments perform poorly in the current version due to awkward positioning or attribute limitations.

Combat Mk. 2

As the first module to allow for relatively economical use of heavy shields, it should have been more useful. However, heavy shields are almost unused in the current meta, and their passive effects are very weak, making it unpopular.

Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking)

This is a particularly confusing Augment design. It only uses a Light Shield, and its weight capacity (60 kg) and backpack slots (20 slots) are lower than other epic Augments.

Its passive effect is simply to speed up the process of drawing your hand cannon and pistol. For an epic Augment, these attributes are completely disproportionate to its cost and may require a complete rework.

Tier A

These Augments are the preferred choice for most players due to their excellent functionality and cost-effectiveness.

Looting Mk. 2

Although it is only a Rare Augment, its value surpasses many Epic Augments. It boasts a weight capacity of 60 kg, 22 backpack slots, and 3 trinket slots.

If you plan to do Loot Runs, then Looting Mk. 2 is the best choice. Although it only uses a Light Shield, its capacity advantage is irreplaceable for a playstyle focused on resource gathering.

Tactical Mk. 3 (Defensive)

This is a very versatile Epic Augment. It can use a heavy shield and features a Shield Recharger, which can recharge the shield for free, saving inventory space and resources. It's a reliable choice for both combat and looting.

Tactical Mk. 3 (Healing)

The shortcomings of this Augment are its mere 55kg weight capacity and only 16 backpack slots, and its passive effect is not very useful. Its Tier A ranking is primarily due to its three insurance pockets, which can protect high-value items, and it might be more useful in group play.

Combat Mk. 3 (Aggressive)

This epic Augment can use a heavy shield, has a decent 65kg base weight capacity, and two grenade slots. Its passive effect can heal, but the healing is rather weak.

Combat Mk. 3 (Aggressive) might be more popular with PvP players, but it needs a complete rework to change its passive effect.

Looting Mk. 3 (Cautious)

As an Epic version of Looting Augments, it offers higher carrying capacity (70 kg) and 24 backpack slots, but loses the 3 accessory slots of Mark II.

The added Binoculars are not very useful, although the passive effect is somewhat useful, potentially proving helpful in PvP and against large ARCs, allowing for a faster escape after shield breaks. However, it doesn't completely replace Looting Mk. 2, and they each have their advantages and disadvantages.

Tier S

They possess undeniable strength or unique strategic value, making them the best choice in the mid-to-late game.

Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor)

Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor) is one of the most powerful Epic Augments in the current game. It boasts the highest carrying capacity (80 kg), 3 safety pockets, 20 backpack slots, and can use a Medium Shield. It's top-tier in almost every aspect, making it essentially the best choice in the current meta.

Mark II Tactical Mark 2

While Mark II Tactical Mark 2 boasts a 45kg carrying capacity and 17 backpack slots (among all Augments), its true value lies in its passive ability.

Its effect is to automatically generate a small smoke grenade area when the player is attacked. Whether in PvP or PvE, this smoke grenade greatly increases survivability when ambushed, buying time to counterattack or retreat. Moreover, as a rare Augment, it offers excellent value and is quite popular among PvP players.

Augments, as part of ARC Raiders system, shouldn't just be simple backpacks, and they should offer players a variety of options, much like weapons. However, it's clear that it currently suffers from serious balance issues, with most passive effects being largely useless. Some Augments need bolder design changes to rework their passives.
