ARC Raiders Destroy Ticks Trial Guide: Best Farming Route For High Scores

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Dec 25, 2025 Views: 13521

To keep the gameplay fresh and engaging, and to provide players with more opportunities to earn loot, ARC Raiders has introduced Weekly Trials mechanism.

Weekly Trials are objective-based challenges that refresh every Monday. Players earn loot, cosmetic items, and level-up rewards by completing tasks such as defeating specific enemies or activating Probes.

Each trial awards points, but only your best single-match score counts towards your total. Unlock progression rewards and epic loot by reaching point milestones (1000, 2500, 4000) for each challenge and achieving high rankings on the leaderboard. This encourages players to complete specific objectives for rewards, rather than simply pursuing victory or successful extraction.

Each weekly trial offers a total of 5 objectives, ranging in difficulty, and Destroy Ticks objective can be particularly challenging.

Ticks themselves aren't difficult to defeat, as their armor is very weak, and they can be easily killed with almost any basic weapon. The difficulty lies in the fact that these unpredictable ARC robots always spawn in groups inside buildings, and you must constantly evade their attacks, otherwise you could easily be killed unexpectedly.

For this reason, even though every player can easily complete Destroy Ticks trial, achieving a high score and ranking high on the leaderboard is not easy. However, we're here to help you with this problem. We'll share the best locations for farming these Ticks solo, and some secret strategies to help you earn over 30,000 points!

ARC Raiders Destroy Ticks Trial Guide: Best Farming Route For High Scores

Best Ticks Farming Locations

As a solo raider, there are two specific areas that are ideal for farming Ticks, as they spawn in large numbers and the two areas are connected, making route planning very simple, provided other raiders are not active in the area. So don't forget to bring your best PvP gear or your best negotiation skills to ensure a successful extraction.

To get straight to the point, the areas you need to farm are Seed Vault and Cultural Archives. Both locations have a large number of ticks, and they respawn relatively quickly if no other raiders are present.

However, please note that you will also encounter other ARC enemies while eliminating the ticks. In Seed Vault, you'll encounter Sentinels; in Cultural Archives, in addition to Ticks, you'll encounter various Fireballs, Pops, and Shredders. These two areas are connected by a corridor, so you can easily move between them.

Equipment

Before you start farming, prepare your equipment.

The equipment setup here is a bit more complex. You need to prioritize dealing with Shredders, followed by weaker enemies like Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops. I highly recommend equipping Looting Mk. 2 Augment, which you can trade for from Lance, as it automatically removes ticks from your body. This augment might save your life when facing Shredders.

In addition, you'll need to carry a heavy weapon. I recommend using Anvil to deal with Shredders. You'll need at least 120 rounds of ammunition and make sure your weapon durability is 75 or higher.

For your secondary weapon, you can choose according to your personal preference. However, since you might face 2 to 5 ticks at once, the flexibility of your secondary weapon is important. We used a Level 1 Rattler here, and it performed quite well overall.

Don't forget to carry plenty of healing and Shield Recharger items. But if you run out of these ARC Raiders items, you can easily collect materials in either of these areas and craft Bandages or Rechargers on the spot, but make sure you've unlocked the field crafting function.

If you haven't unlocked the crafting function, I recommend carrying more medical supplies than usual, as being hit by a Shredder will consume a lot of healing items, so be prepared.

Furthermore, explosives are very effective against Shredders. The combination of Snap Blast Grenade and Anvil can quickly eliminate them. If you can upgrade Trailblazer Grenade so its explosion radius covers Shredder, they are definitely a better option. Seeker Grenade is also a good backup option, useful for eliminating pursuing enemies when your health is low.

Strategies

Now let's begin! I recommend waiting until there are only a few minutes left in Night Raid before queuing for a match. While this is risky, as you can't guarantee matching into a full game, matching into a full game with only a minute left before the map rotation means no players will join mid-game, which can greatly increase your potential score.

Cultural Archives

Next, let's talk about the biggest threat you'll face in Cultural Archives - Shredder.

After Cold Snap update, Shredders have become more agile, more aggressive, and more responsive to raiders within their line of sight. That being said, they are now also easier to deal with; you can safely take them down one by one using Anvil, precise shots, and good positioning.

You'll encounter Shredders frequently in Cultural Archives, and they will respawn if you eliminate them. Sometimes you can avoid engaging them and attack the ticks from a distance, but you won't be able to avoid them entirely throughout the entire run. So let's analyze the best way to deal with them.

Since Shredders have a very predictable attack pattern, once you understand their attack pattern, they are easy to anticipate.

First, they will rush towards you, trying to get as close as possible, and then begin charging up for a burst attack. You have less than two seconds to find cover. If you are hit, your shield will be completely depleted, and your health will drop to about 25%.

Fortunately, Cultural Archives provides plenty of cover, and you can easily run to the other side to avoid damage. After the explosion, you can fire two Anvil shots before the next explosion starts charging. If you immediately seek cover after firing the second shot, you will significantly increase your chances of survival and avoid taking damage in most cases.

But remember, your entire body must be covered; if only your lower body is covered, you will still take significant damage.

Meanwhile, aim for Thrusters on Shredder's sides; destroying them will significantly slow down Shredder. Then, a few more Anvil shots to any part of the enemy will destroy it.

If you are upgrading, you can loot Shredders for excellent materials and XP, or you can dismantle them for some mechanical parts, with each Shredder Gyro alone selling for 3000 coins!

Repeat the above steps and be mindful of Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops while fighting Shredders. They tend to appear suddenly and attack at the worst possible times.

Then, simply walk around the main area of Cultural Archives, and you'll hear and see all the ticks in these rooms; eliminate them to accumulate points!

Seed Vault

After completing a full circuit, you'll need to go through a corridor to reach a room outside Seed Vault.

To open Seed Vault, you need to find a fuel cell and insert it into the main door. Once inside, it's recommended to close the door behind you so you can easily tell if anyone is coming from behind.

Next, clear the room you entered, then the room to the right, and then clear your way to the back on the other side. Each area here will have 2 to 5 ticks, usually on the ceiling, and they will attack you as soon as you enter the room, so be careful. If you see any sentinels here, destroy them as well.

After eliminating all the ticks, exit through the locked door at the back of the room. This is closer to the corridor, making it easier to return to Cultural Archives to clear the respawning ticks there. Usually, this only takes about 3 minutes, which is enough time for the enemies to respawn.

PVP

Finally, I want to remind you that if there are raiders in these two areas, they will hinder enemy respawns in both locations and will also affect your total score if they steal your kills.

Obviously, you have two options: you can ask them beforehand if they mind leaving the area, and you can offer them ARC Raiders blueprint or other loot as a thank-you gift to maximize your score; but if they are looking for trouble, then you must be prepared to eliminate them!

In the last 5 minutes, make sure you know where your final extraction point is. If you are not familiar with this map, plan your route in advance, otherwise, you may lose the points you've worked so hard to accumulate.

In short, get ready to eliminate all the ticks in these areas and watch your trial points soar! Good luck!
