Event Background

As a brand-new event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Haunted Floating Festival is inspired by Halloween. Embark on an adventure in-game, enter a mysterious entrance in the valley, and journey to a Haunted Floating Island, hidden in the sky.

Explore the eerie Floating Island and solve its mysteries step by step. This exciting and fun event promises many surprises.

Haunted Floating Festival officially begins on October 22, 2025, and will last for 20 days, ending on November 11.

Over time, the game will offer more puzzles. By solving these puzzles and completing tasks during your adventure, you'll unlock various Disney Dreamlight Valley items and receive exclusive seasonal rewards.

How To Participate?

There are two ways to participate in Haunted Floating Festival, depending on your preference.

The easiest way is to find the instructions on Disney Dreamlight Valley event page and select Teleport from the tabs. Alternatively, you can find a portal in Plaza to start the event.

Following the instructions in the game, you will immerse yourself in the exciting atmosphere of Halloween.

While the event primarily takes place on Floating Island, solving certain puzzles may lead you back to Valley.

Also, be careful to spot clues, as some essential items only appear during unusual weather conditions or at night. Seizing these opportunities will reduce exploration time and allow you to earn rewards faster.

Puzzle Unlock Period

Puzzles, which serve as key story points in this mission, can help players advance the game and enhance their enjoyment.

To create more surprises for players and maintain the event's mystique, Disney Dreamlight Valley will not release all puzzles at the beginning of the event.

Players will see three puzzles available upon logging in on October 22nd. The remaining two puzzles will be unlocked on October 29th and November 5th, respectively.

To ensure continuity throughout the event, you'll need to log in regularly to explore new locations. Collect clues and resources throughout the missions, gradually approaching the truth of the story.

Note that some puzzles may lead you to rather spooky locations, but don't worry about their level of terror. Your main quest remains to find clues and reach the end.

Haunted Floating Festival Puzzles

• Puzzles unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley include Ghostly Critter, Combination Pillar, and Terror-rific Tree on October 22nd.
• Puzzle 4, Potion Brewer's House, will unlock on October 29th.
• Puzzle 5, Haunted Mansion, will unlock on November 2nd.

Ghostly Critter

Why is a ghostly fox wandering endlessly around the showground? Find its favorite treats around the grounds, give them to it, and ask why.

Combination Pillar

On Floating Island, there are weathered pillars engraved with strange numbers. The dice beneath the pillars appear to change with your touch. Explore the island to find the correct combination of numbers and symbols.

Terror-rific Tree

Is it normal for a tree on an island in Disney Dreamlight Valley to howl? Offer specific items to the tree to break its curse and solve the mystery. Perhaps a nearby book will provide a clue.

Potion Brewer's House

Night Thorns on the road have disappeared, and while exploring the island, you've stumbled upon a witch's house. Enter the house, and you'll find the recipe for a special potion.

Haunted Mansion

Bravely enter the haunted mansion only to discover a talking suit of armor. Will you challenge the armor to a duel of wits? Victory awaits a generous reward.

Haunted Floating Festival Rewards

As a new event, the rewards for Haunted Floating Festival don't match those of similar events. However, based on the game's preview, these rewards may be:

• Clawed Foot Tub
• Haunted Festival Dress
• Terror-rific Tree
• The Black Cauldron
• Haunted Armor

After unlocking the crafting rights for these furniture items, you can place them in your house. If you don't have enough space for all your favorite pieces, you can use Disney Dreamlight Valley Currency to upgrade your house and customize it to your liking.

These rewards are filled with Halloween spirit, and seeing them again might remind you of this thrilling and exciting event.

Trick Or Treat Event Returns

In addition to the aforementioned Haunted Floating Festival, Disney Dreamlight Valley's Trick or Treat event, launched on October 15th, is also full of Halloween spirit.

Trick or Treat event runs from October 15th to October 31st, partially overlapping with the Haunted Floating Festival. You'll need to plan your daily gameplay.

Trick or Treat event requires you to collect candy bowls around Valley during the event. Collect enough of these items and you'll unlock exclusive Halloween pumpkin items, such as the adorable Mickey Mouse Pumpkin.

If you miss this event, you won't be able to unlock the unique holiday furniture, but you can find it in Premium Shop at certain times. You can then use Disney Dreamlight Valley Moonstones to acquire the furniture you missed.
