WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Major Tier 4 Set Changes You Can't Miss Before Phase 1 Raids

Besides individual gear, sets are a crucial type of equipable item in The Burning Crusade Classic. These sets consist of multiple pieces, and equipping a complete set provides surprising buffs.
Therefore, although TBC Classic Anniversary release brought many changes, the gear set system remained. Once the various raids in Phase 1 are opened, you can begin acquiring and equipping the corresponding Tier 4 sets.
While WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1 raids won't be available until February 19th, it's always good to be prepared by understanding the relevant information beforehand. Below, we'll introduce the main information about these sets that provide special buffs.

What are Tier 4 sets?
Regardless of TBC server, Tier 4 sets are among the first armor sets you can obtain. Equipping them will provide corresponding buffs to your character based on your class and specialization.
This will boost your character's strength, making it easier to engage in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold farming or collect other specific items, accelerating your game exploration.
Changes from TBC Classic Anniversary
Compared to older servers, TBC Classic Anniversary T4 sets no longer have 8 pieces, but 5. Furthermore, the existing tier set system provides bonuses even when wearing only 2 or 4 pieces.
More interestingly, if you're playing a class that allows multiple roles in combat, the pieces/sets you obtain will vary depending on your character's chosen role. This means there are actually multiple corresponding T4 sets for the same class.
So, you can not only more easily collect the entire set in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary, but also receive all the bonuses without wearing the full set, allowing for mixed and matched sets.
Furthermore, the drop method for individual pieces has changed: they are no longer directly dropped by bosses, but are exchanged for tokens at merchants. The tokens still originate from bosses.
What T4 sets are available in the game?
All classes have their own unique sets, and classes with more role options unlock even more set options. We'll introduce all Tier 4 sets in TBC Classic Anniversary, categorized by class.

- 4 pieces: Revenge causes your next damaging ability to deal an additional 10% damage.
How to obtain Tier 4 sets?
In Phase 1, bosses in the three raids drop tokens that can be exchanged for set pieces. These tokens are divided into two types: those exclusive to specific classes and those specific to particular slots. Specifically:
Class-specific tokens:
- Fallen Champion: Paladin, Rogue, Shaman
- Fallen Defender: Druid, Priest, Warrior
- Fallen Hero: Hunter, Mage, Warlock
Slot-specific tokens:
- Glove tokens: The Curator (the third boss in Karazhan raid)
- Helm tokens: Prince Malchezaar (the fifth boss in Karazhan raid)
- Shoulder tokens: High King Maulgar (the first boss in Gruul's Lair raid)
- Leg tokens: Gruul the Dragonkiller (the second boss in Gruul's Lair raid)
- Chest tokens: Magtheridon (boss in Magtheridon's Lair raid)
After obtaining these tokens, you can find the corresponding vendor based on your faction to exchange them for set pieces. These vendors are:
- Aldor - Asuur
- Scryer - Arodis Sunblade
That concludes our introduction. This information will be especially helpful once all Phase 1 raids are released! So be sure to remember them!
