WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1 Methods to 3 Essential Cities | Stop Wasting Time Traveling!

Category: WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Posted: Feb 26, 2026 Views: 1177

The opening of Phase 1 signifies the full release of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Outlands. While navigating the different zones in the game isn't as cumbersome as in the real world, you can still make mistakes if you lack the right information.

Furthermore, for purposes such as trading, learning, or combat, you may sometimes need to frequently travel between different cities or locations. Knowing the nearest routes or the best ways to get around can enhance your gaming experience.

Below, we'll introduce three locations you absolutely must know during Phase 1 and how to reach them.

WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1 Methods to 3 Essential Cities | Stop Wasting Time Traveling!

Draenei City: The Exodar

As you know, TBC Classic Anniversary adds a new playable race for both Horde and Alliance, and each race has its own capital city for various activities.

The Exodar is the capital city opened to the new Alliance race, Draenei. You can level up or learn Jewelcrafting skills here as a Draenei. In addition, Azuremyst Isle and Bloodmyst Isle are also located near the city, both belonging to Draenei territory.

It's worth noting that there is only one Alliance Jewelcrafting trainer, so if you are not a Draenei Alliance player, you can only improve your Jewelcrafting skill in The Exodar.

WoW TBC Classic Anniversary The Exodar

How to get to The Exodar?

The routes to The Exodar differ depending on your faction/race. If you are a Draenei, you can enter directly from the starting zone; if you are a Horde player, you must take a boat; if you are a non-Draenei Alliance player, travel options include:

  • By boat
  • Portals in Shattrath City
  • Mage portals

It's worth noting that Horde players arriving by boat need to avoid the two high-level guards at the docks. However, the boat route does not differ by faction: simply reach Valnaar's Berth (coordinates/way 20.4 54.2) located on Azuremyst Isle to board the boat.

If you choose portals in Shattrath City, you must ensure your level is above 58 to enter the city smoothly. Otherwise, you will need to seek help from other Mage players - their Portal: Shattrath ability can teleport you there.

Afterwards, you can find the portal to The Exodar at coordinates /way 59 47.24 in Shattrath City, which leads directly there.

As for Mage portals, you need to reach level 40 as a Mage player to master Portal: Exodar ability. You can also use this method to provide more direct teleportation services to your friends and earn extra WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold.

Note that you cannot reach The Exodar solely by walking on water or flying mounts, as the entire zone is vast, your fatigue points will be insufficient to support the journey, and mounts are very slow.

Blood Elf City: Silvermoon City

As the capital city of the other new race, Blood Elf, Silvermoon City and the surrounding Eversong Woods and Ghostlands belong to Horde. Like The Exodar, this is also the only location for Horde Jewelcrafting trainer.

How to get to Silvermoon City?

Blood Elf players can start directly from the starting zone, Sunstrider Isle. Alliance players must traverse Eastern Plaguelands (Horde players can also choose this method). The specific route is as follows:

  1. Reach the crossroads in Eastern Plaguelands (coordinates /way 56.5 36.2).
  2. Continue north until you reach Northpass Tower.
  3. Continue through Thalassian Pass until you find coordinates /way 59.6 12.6, which is the portal to Ghostlands.
  4. Cross through Ghostlands to enter Silvermoon City.

Additionally, there is also a portal to Silvermoon City from Shattrath City. Mage players can still choose to travel more conveniently by mastering Portal: Silvermoon skill.

However, if you're a Horde player, there's a hidden teleportation method: find Orb of Translocation located in Ruins of Lordaeron or Sunfury Spire in Silvermoon City. Clicking on them will teleport you directly to Silvermoon City. The specific coordinates are:

  • /way 54.9 11.2
  • /way 49.5 14.8

Sanctuary City: Shattrath City

We've already mentioned Shattrath City frequently when introducing the first two cities. As a crucial transportation hub in Outlands, it's essentially a transit point for traveling to many cities.

However, please note that there are no portals back to Shattrath City from other cities. Therefore, if you want to return more easily after reaching other locations, be sure to bind your character to a location in Outlands beforehand.

Besides transiting, you can also find some trainers and available amenities in this city. However, these are also available in other cities, so there's no need to specifically travel to Shattrath City for this purpose.

How to get to Shattrath City?

Besides Portal: Shattrath service offered by Mages, all players level 58 and above need to enter the city via the following route. Your only concern is avoiding or promptly eliminating enemies encountered on the map:

  1. Start from the starting point until you reach Zangarmarsh.
  2. After discovering Centarion Refuge, head south until you enter Terokkar.
  3. Continue until you see the elekk-mounted Shattrath Peacekeepers, then turn right.

An additional explanation is needed for the first step. Since Shattrath City has two factions, Honor Hold and Thrallmar, belonging to Alliance and Horde respectively, it's best to start from their respective starting points.

Furthermore, before approaching Zangarmarsh, there is a dangerous zone, Thornfang Hill. The enemies here, Thornfang Venomspitter and Thornfang Ravager, are tricky and unavoidable; be extremely careful.

That concludes our guide. We hope this helps improve your Phase 1 travel efficiency!
