WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1 Blood Furnace Guide | The Secret for Faster Reputation and Primal Nether Farming

Theoretically, as long as your character level meets the requirements, you can challenge any dungeon within TBC Anniversary Outlands. However, to make your game progress more organized, it's usually best to clear them zone by zone.
As the first zone you enter after entering Outlands, Hellfire Peninsula contains three dungeons and one Phase 1 raid. We've previously introduced some of them; this time, we'll be providing a guide to Blood Furnace dungeon.

How to enter Blood Furnace?
This dungeon is sometimes simply referred to as BF by players. Like other TBC Classic Anniversary dungeons, BF has both normal and heroic difficulty modes.
Unlocking normal mode simply requires your character to be level 60 or higher; the optimal challenge level is 60-64. Unlocking heroic mode requires obtaining Flamewrought Key as a prerequisite for Attunement mechanic.
Fortunately, unlocking Hellfire Ramparts heroic mode also requires a Flamewrought Key, meaning if you already have it, you don't need to make any extra effort for Blood Furnace.
If you don't have it yet, don't worry. Simply raise your Honor Hold or Thrallmar faction reputation to Revered level by completing quests, and you can obtain Flamewrought Key by trading with the quartermaster.
Note that there are three dungeons within Hellfire Peninsula zone. To avoid wasting time searching for the wrong location, it's recommended to find Blood Furnace directly using the coordinates /way 62.4, 24.8.
All Blood Furnace bosses
The key to clearing the dungeon is killing all the enemies inside, especially the bosses. There are three bosses in BF, each with unique skills and loot rewards.
The Maker
This elite boss primarily deals damage to you with two skills. Domination can control any humanoid player below level 70 for 10 seconds, and Exploding Beaker will damage you within 30 yards.
In Heroic mode, the damage of Exploding Beaker's abilities is significantly increased.
Broggok
Before this boss appears, four packs of Fel Orcs will appear in his arena. You must defeat them before you can fight Broggok. This boss's main abilities include Poison Bolt, Poison Cloud, and Slime Spray.
During the boss fight, if a green aura appears on the ground, be sure to dodge it immediately. If you are a ranged player, you also need to maintain distance from the boss at all times. Additionally, Broggok's spell damage is increased in Heroic mode.
Keli'dan the Breaker
As the final boss of the dungeon, Keli'dan the Breaker is surrounded by five Shadowmoon Channelers. You still need to defeat these minions before the boss fight can begin.
This boss's abilities include Burning Nova, Fire Nova, and Shadow Bolt Volley, most of which deal damage as projectiles, so using high mobility to dodge them in time is crucial.
Overall, these three bosses are easy to defeat in Normal mode. However, if you unlock Heroic difficulty later, it's best to buy WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold beforehand to exchange for more healing items or defensive gear to protect yourself.
What are Blood Furnace quests?
After defeating the boss and obtaining the rewards, don't rush to leave - the dungeon actually has some additional specific quests for you. Completing these will reward you with new gear or other rewards to help upgrade your character.
Based on this, Blood Furnace dungeon offers two quests. Judging from the quest content, neither is particularly difficult, but you must take them seriously and ensure you've completed the prerequisite quests.
What are the prerequisite quests?
This part of the quest requires you to complete the previous dungeon, Hellfire Ramparts, and its quests, and defeat Vazruden boss in that dungeon to obtain the special drop, Ominous Letter, which is also a key item for entering Blood Furnace.
Hellfire Ramparts dungeon has two quests: Weaken the Ramparts and Dark Tidings, while Blood Furnace quests, Heart of Rage and The Blood is Life, follow immediately after.
Generally, if you have already completed all Hellfire Ramparts content, the corresponding quests should also be included, so simply continue with Blood Furnace quests as required.
Heart of Rage
This quest is completed by killing all the bosses to completely clear the dungeon. We have already introduced how to deal with the bosses; after that, you can simply accept/turn in the quest to the corresponding NPC to receive the reward.
- Horde NPC: Nazgrel - Thrallmar - /way 55.0 35.0
- Alliance NPC: Force Commander Danath Trollbane - Honor Hold - /way 56.6 66.6
Quest Rewards include:
- 350 reputation points with Honor Hold / Thrallmar
- 20,800 experience
- Crimson Pendant of Clarity (Caster/Healer Necklace)
- Holy Healing Band (Healer Ring)
- Perfectly Balanced Cape (AGI DPS Cloak)
The Blood is Life
The prerequisite quest for this quest is Dark Tidings. The Blood is Life is a collecting quest that requires you to collect 10 Fel Orc Blood Vials while clearing Blood Furnace, then turn them in to the following NPCs:
- Horde NPC: Gunny - Honor Hold - /way 56.4 66.6
- Alliance NPC: Caza'rez - Thrallmar - /way 54.8 36.0
Quest rewards include:
- 350 reputation points with Honor Hold / Thrallmar
- 20,800 experience
- Deadly Borer Leggings (Cloth Legs)
- Moonkin Headdress (Leather Helm)
- Scaled Legs of Ruination (Mail Pants)
- Breastplate of Retribution (Plate Chest)
It's important to note that you can only choose one gear from each of the two Blood Furnace dungeon quest rewards; you won't receive all gear rewards. Therefore, please choose according to your character's actual needs.
Blood Furnace rewards
This dungeon will drop different usable gear pieces from various bosses at different difficulties, such as Embroidered Cape of Mysteries cape, Moonchild Leggings, and more.
However, in Heroic mode, any boss will also drop three gems: Beaming Fire Opal, Fluorescent Tanzanite, and Jagged Chrysoprase. Additionally, Kel'idan the Breaker will drop the gem Steady Chrysoprase and the crafting material Primal Nether.
Primal Nether is an essential material for crafting many powerful gears, making it a popular item in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary. Besides boss drops, it can also be exchanged using Badge of Justice.
This concludes all the information needed to complete Blood Furnace dungeon. The main difficulty of this dungeon lies in its Heroic mode; otherwise, we believe you can easily handle it!
