WoW Midnight Leveling Guide | Hit Max Level before the Official March 2nd Launch!

While the official launch isn't until March 2nd, if you've secured early access through Epic Edition pre-order bundle, you can start playing WoW Midnight from February 26th!
Perhaps for game balance, not all content is available in early access, but if you want to quickly complete initial leveling or gold farming, WoW Midnight can fully meet your needs right now. You can even level up to max level immediately if you wish!
Below, we'll introduce some tips for leveling your character at this stage, allowing you to fully utilize the extra playtime advantage of early access!

Preparations
Even if you're a veteran of WoW series, you might not immediately adapt to the new Midnight expansion, potentially causing delays in leveling your character due to various details.
The most common issue is that your excitement and curiosity might lead you to explore the new zones, resulting in your inventory and quest log becoming cluttered with random loot and encounters.
Therefore, if you want to plan and execute a more organized leveling strategy, the first step is to clear your inventory and quest log. Sufficient inventory space allows you to store valuable items acquired during leveling, while an empty quest log makes it easier to find quests that provide XP.
In addition, we recommend farming some items that provide boosts in advance. For example, adjusting enchantments and gems to increase your speed will allow you to reach the next XP-providing quest location faster.
Based on this, common enchantments include:
- Scout's March on boots
- Chant of Armored Speed on bracers
- Chant of Burrowing Rapidity on cloaks
As for gems, you can equip one Elusive Blasphemite gem first, then get one of each color. This will roughly increase your total movement speed bonus by another 10%.
Of course, if obtaining these items is difficult at the beginning, you can wait until your character becomes stronger before refining your build. However, don't forget these tips while getting caught up in progress!
Focusing on the main quests
In most MMORPGs, one of the best ways to level up your character early on is by completing the main questline, and World of Warcraft Midnight is no exception. In this game, you can identify main quests by their shield icon.
These quests not only provide XP and other rewards but also guide you through the main storyline, gradually unlocking new zones. They can even help you upgrade gear you didn't have time to upgrade towards the end of The War Within.
As you progress through the main story, you'll unlock more side quests, but it's best not to rush through them (although they also reward XP), as side quests can sometimes require you to travel to more distant areas, delaying your main quest completion.
Choosing the best path
This tip is actually based on the previous one, as the main questline in the game is linear. You must start in Eversong Woods. After completing all the quests in that zone, choose one of three quests to complete:
- Arator's Journey
- Zul'Aman storyline
- Harandar storyline
You can choose based on your preference, such as choosing the last one because you're interested in Haranir race.
However, if you want to level up more efficiently, we recommend choosing Zul'Aman storyline, as there are more high-level monsters in the surrounding area.
In short, you can only proceed to the final zone, Voidstorm, after completing any intermediate quest.
Exploring the zones deeper
After completing all the main quests (the entire campaign) according to the two tips above, you shouldn't have enough XP to reach the level cap. At this point, you should explore the various zones more deeply, based on your preferences and distance.
Because completing the campaign unlocks all world quests and events, and the difficulty of other quests in all zones will automatically adjust based on your current level, allowing you to continue leveling by clearing them.
During this process, if you encounter rare elites, it's best to prioritize killing them. Besides a large amount of XP, these monsters also drop items that may be useful in the endgame, such as Coffer Key Shards - which can help you maximize dungeon rewards.
In addition to the four zones covered by the main quest, the game also features a rebuilt Silvermoon City. While it's the central city for all players, some central areas are only accessible to Horde players.
Completing Dungeons or Delves
During early access, all dungeons and Tier 1-7 Delves are available. If you're confident in your character's abilities after completing the campaign and have also finished the world events, you can try challenging them in a group.
The dungeons include two types: level-up and max-level. We recommend that you proceed according to your abilities:
Level-up Dungeons:
- Windrunner Spire
- Magister's Terrace
- Murder Row
- Den of Nalorakk
Max-level Dungeons:
- Maisara Caverns
- The Blinding Vale
- Voidscar Arena
- Nexus Point Xenas
As for Delves, they are a unique adventure mode that can be completed solo or in a party of up to four teammates. Currently available are:
- Twilight Crypts
- Atal'Aman
- The Grudge Pit
- The Gulf of Memory
- Collegiate Calamity
- The Shadow Enclave
- Den of Echoes
- Shadowguard Point
- Sunkiller Sanctum
- Torment's Rise
The remaining two Delves, The Darkway and Parhelion Plaza, will open on March 24th and 31st, respectively. Prior to that, on March 17th, Bountiful Delves gameplay will launch alongside Season 1 and Nemesis boss.
Upgrading your profession skill
The main purpose of learning and upgrading your profession skill in WoW series is to craft various items to earn gold or provide additional combat benefits. However, crafting recipes for the first time also grants a significant amount of XP.
Furthermore, you can also gain additional profession knowledge and skill points this way.
You can continue to upgrade your profession skill to gain XP, but this type of XP source is limited. Therefore, if you choose a crafting profession, it's best to utilize the extra XP before reaching the level cap.
These are the things you can currently do for your character's leveling. It's expected that there will be more ways to obtain XP after the full game launches, so it's best to complete as much content as possible during early access!
