Once you finish the campaign of Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.5 and reach Atlas map, your journey truly begins. This system is quite intricate, and you may find yourself unsure of where to start.
The endgame offers an abundance of resources. As long as you know how to farm maps efficiently and boost each map's output, you can steadily progress to T15 maps and secure a consistent flow of Divine Orbs, which will accelerate your character's growth at a remarkable pace.

Patch 0.5.5 Changes
In PoE 2 Patch 0.5.5, the first time you defeat Arbiter of Divinity, you receive a portion of your Atlas points; on the second kill, you obtain all the remaining points.
This means you can directly acquire an Origin Core through trade, then defeat Arbiter of Divinity again, and instantly unlock your full Atlas tree.
Saving Tablets
In the early stages, do not use any Tablets. This is because you have not yet invested any points into the passive tree for that specific mechanic. Take Ritual as an example: without Ritual passives, you will hardly accumulate enough Favor within the ritual to afford rare items; you will only find yourself deferring items repeatedly without ever being able to claim them.
Therefore, before reaching Ancient Gateway, your core strategy is to rush straight toward the map boss and complete the map as quickly as possible, rather than getting bogged down by various league mechanics along the way.
You may clear an Abyss if it lies directly in your path, but your overarching goal is simply to finish one map after another and earn as many Atlas passive points as you can. The more points you have, the more worthwhile it becomes to fully clear every subsequent map.
Map Modifier
During this sprint to accumulate points, avoid over-rolling your maps - do not add extra monster pack size or increase monster damage, as those modifiers are highly dangerous.
If you obtain a magic map, at most use a single Orb of Augmentation to add one mod. Never use Alchemy Orbs, Regal Orbs, or Exalted Orbs to increase the number of modifiers.
How to Build Your Atlas Trees?
After unlocking all paths, your allocation should focus on the central region of Atlas passive tree, because the central passives allow nearly every map to feature a league mechanic, or even guarantee a specific mechanic to appear.
On the right side of the tree, there is also Eons of Domination node, which causes powerful map bosses to drop Overseer Precursor Tablets. These tablets have the effect of turning every map boss into a powerful boss, giving you a steady stream of additional loot and XP.
It is recommended that you take all nodes that increase the appearance of Essences, since Essences are an excellent resource for early-game crafting.
At the same time, be sure to pick up every node that enables Exceptional Items to drop. These items are common bases that come with additional sockets by default - for example, body armour with 3 sockets, gloves with 2 sockets, and so on.
Even if you do not equip them, you can list them on the market for trade; they will earn you a considerable amount of PoE 2 currency.
Unlocking Expedition

Once you have all your Atlas points, you need to travel to Hilda's Campsite and unlock NPC Hilda. She will guide you toward the lower-right area of the map to clear Beasts, but more importantly, this leads you to Ruins of Kingsmarch.
Defeating Beast Bosses provides you with 2 Atlas Master Points, which increase the number of rare monsters on each map and improve boss effectiveness, resulting in more experience and better drops.
Ruins of Kingsmarch unlocks Expedition area. Within Expedition, you can obtain a large number of Grand Expedition encounters.
If you activate these Expeditions on T14 or higher maps, they will feature a full-roll Viridian Wildwood, which guarantees the highest-quality rewards.
After completing your first round of Grand Expeditions, you can use a Logbook after killing the map boss to trigger another round of Expeditions, giving you another chance at Grand Expedition encounters, or you can simply defeat the boss to advance to the next stage. This also further unlocks Expedition Atlas passives, making Expedition rewards even more lucrative.
Delirium
Once you have accumulated enough currency from Expeditions, it is time to raise the difficulty tier in exchange for higher experience, better drops, and greater overall returns. This step involves activating 200% Delirium.
From Hilda's Campsite, make your way to Withered Willow, clear Delirium encounters along the way to obtain Delirium Atlas points, and defeat the boss.
After that, you can apply Delirium Tablets to every Expedition encounter, making them juicy with extra experience, additional loot, and Emotions. Delirium also serves as the best source of experience for easily reaching level 90.
By following the steps above, you will steadily amass a large number of Divine Orbs, top-tier crafting materials, and rich experience in PoE 2 Patch 0.5.5. After that, your only consideration is how to convert your currency into gear upgrades that will truly empower your character.
