Why Is Golden Blitz Event So Important?

In Monopoly Go, gold cards are even rarer than regular Monopoly Go cards. They're primarily concentrated in the back half of the sticker set and rarely appear in packs. However, their biggest obstacle to completing a sticker album is that they are untradeable.

Even with five-star stickers, if they're tradeable, you can find a player with extra stickers to trade with before the album ends. However, with gold cards, even if a player has five identical gold stickers, they don't seem to have any use for them other than breaking them down into stars unless they're chosen for a Golden Blitz event.

A Golden Blitz event typically lasts one day, sometimes 15 hours. During this event, the two gold cards chosen become tradeable like other regular cards. So, if you have duplicate gold cards, you can only hold on to them and can not change with anyone. If one is chosen, you can trade it for another gold card or a regular card you haven't yet earned.

However, Golden Blitz events rarely select duplicate Gold cards. Previously selected Gold cards will not appear in the next event, so it's best to avoid missing out on any Golden Blitz events.

How To Get Gold Cards?

As the most difficult Monopoly Go stickers to obtain, they rarely appear in 1-2 star Monopoly Go sticker packs, so it's best to aim for 3-star or higher card packs.

3-Star Card Packs

Monopoly Go 3-star card packs contain two cards. The probability of a 3-star card is 9.04%, while the overall probability of a Gold card is approximately 2%. This means that if you have 100 3-star card packs (pink card packs), you have a chance of getting 2 to 4 Monopoly Go stickers.

While the chances aren't very high, there are many ways to get 3-star card packs in the game, such as Quick Wins, tournaments, and Banner Event milestones.

4-Star And 5-Star Card Packs

A 4-star card pack contains 4 cards, while a 5-star card pack contains 6 cards. These two packs have a 1.76% and 1.89% chance of each card being a gold card. While these odds are even lower than those of the three-star packs, they contain a higher number of cards, so the chances of gold cards are quite high.

The main ways to obtain these packs are by placing in the top few places in tournaments (for four-star or five-star packs), or by finding them in The Wheel (rare) and Monopoly Bank (only four-star packs).

6-Star Pack

A new pack from Summer Escape album, containing six cards and guaranteed to include one of the six new cards, is also a key way to obtain gold cards. Currently, it can only be obtained through community chests.

Swap Packs And Wild Stickers

Swap Packs and Wild Stickers are typically the final rewards of special events and are therefore relatively rare. A Wild Sticker can transform into any card in the album, while a Swap Pack contains four Monopoly Go stickers, of which you can choose three to swap. How To Earn Event Points?

During Route M, you must land on corner tiles as you progress across the board to earn points, with each corner tile awarding 4 points. If you use a multiplier when rolling the dice, your final points will be multiplied accordingly.

Since corner tiles are evenly distributed across the board, enabling automatic dice rolls in Route M can save time and effort without delaying your progress. Alternatively, you can use a larger multiplier as you approach Go to Jail tile.

Of course, don't be discouraged if you land on a railroad tile during the event; it can also contribute points to other tournaments you're participating in by activating a mini-game, increasing your chances of earning more flag tokens.

Note that any multiplier you choose must be based on the number of dice you have. If you consume all your dice before the event ends, it may negatively affect your event completion.

Choosing The Right Lap Rewards

When your team completes laps in a Roadtrip Racers Event, you have the opportunity to unlock various lap rewards, including dice, sticker packs, flag tokens, and boosters that affect lap progress.

While choosing rewards is entirely personal, if you want your team to gain a significant advantage in the competition, each member must carefully consider their rewards and select the most appropriate ones for the situation.

For example, if your team holds a slight lead but is in imminent danger of being overtaken, you can choose Team Spring booster. With it, your team will accumulate a large amount of Charge as it accumulates points and advances in the match. This activates the booster and grants the entire team a free roll with a random multiplier.

This means that if used wisely, you can quickly expand your lead and swing the match in your favor.

In contrast, if your team is currently trailing, you'll need to maximize your Flag Tokens, which will provide further motivation to catch up.

Knowing Trade-Offs

Flag Tokens are a crucial resource for advancing in Roadtrip Racers Event. Many players are tempted to impulsively spend all their tokens in the first two rounds in pursuit of a quick win, but this isn't an excellent strategy in the long run. Managing your pace can lead to better results.

Because tokens are a limited resource, maintaining a dominant position and taking first place in every round isn't realistic. Therefore, knowing how to trade-offs can help you win big.

For example, if you take a first place in the first match, it's wise to save your flag tokens and dice for the second match.

Not only does placing second or third in the second match still net you a decent number of medals, but the finals are the real deal! Don't lose the big picture for the small one!

The finals often award double medals, which can truly turn the tide of a match. Therefore, saving your flags, dice, and boosters for the final stretch will allow you to launch a powerful attack when it matters most.

While there aren't any major events to participate in this new week, the daily Monopoly Go events are still worth your time! After all, in this game, building the board and collecting stickers is almost endless, so the more rewards, the better!

This week's first tournament is Seaside Serve. What makes it unique is that it lasts longer than regular tournaments and offers more milestone rewards, perfect for accumulating game materials. We'll introduce it below.

Seaside Serve Overview

The tournament began at 1:00 PM Eastern Time on August 18th and will run until the same time on the 20th, for a total of approximately 48 hours. Other in-game events available during this time include Wealth Stream banner event and the special Sticker Drop event.

In fact, of all Seaside Serve milestone rewards, Peg-E tokens are specifically designed to help you participate in Sticker Drop. This Sticker Drop will offer Wild Stickers, Swap Packs, and sticker packs as rewards.

How To Play Seaside Serve?

To earn all the milestone rewards, you'll need to earn 77,885 points. To do this, you'll need to continuously advance on the game board during the tournament and land on railroad tiles to trigger a special mini-game.

There are two games you can trigger, each awarding a different number of points based on the outcome of the game:

- Shutdown Success - 4 points
Bank Heist
- Small Heist - 8 points
- Large Heist - 12 points
- Bankrupt - 16 points
- Mega Heist Gold Bars - 24 points
