Monopoly Go: How To Achieve A Stellar Start? - Best Tips For Rookies
Posted: Sep 03, 2024 Views: 1813
Monopoly Go, a mobile game developed by Scopely, has achieved very dazzling results since its release last year. It boasts many players and fans, and defeated many powerful games in August this year and successfully won the award of “Game Of The Year”.
If you are also interested in this game, but don’t know the specific gameplay, and want to find a complete tutorial to help you quickly understand the game mechanics and make significant progress in the early stage of the game, welcome to read this article.

In the game of Monopoly Go, there are actually many tricks to learn. This article will introduce how beginners can get a good start in the early stage of the game.
Build Properties Quicky At First Then Slow Down
When just starting the game journey, novice players should quickly build properties and upgrade them to increase your Net Worth, which represents the player’s level of progress, which is also one of the important factors in assessing the player’s level in the early stage of the game.
According to the standard game progress, players will unlock Auto Roll function at level eight, sticker album at level 15 and Daily Treats at level 25. Once these are all unlocked, new players are advised to save all the cash they get and upgrade them to avoid attacks from other players, such as to demolish your Landmarks during a Shutdown.
Community Chest
Before starting the game journey, novice players should find out if their friends play the game, because Monopoly Go will update some partner events from time to time, such as Rocket Partners event held last month, which required players and their four friends to build rockets together and also offered very generous prizes, such as the grand prize - Wilder Sticker, which can be exchanged into any Monopoly Go Stickers that is in need.
Players need to add 5 friends to unlock Community Chest function in the game. Then Community Chest jackpot will increase every time you land on it. And Community Chest mini-game will be available for you and your friends, which will also provide affluent gifts for you.
Remember To Sign In Everyday
According to the game mechanism, every hour a player leaves will increase the chance of rolling the dice by five times, with a daily cap of 30 times. Therefore, for novice players, be sure not to miss this free dice roll opportunity.
Link Social Platform
One of the original intentions of Monopoly Go is to want players and their friends to participate in the game together, in order to increase the topic of the game and increase the life experience of the game. So for players who play this game for the first time, sharing the game link to your social platform will get more dice roll opportunities, which is also the easiest way. For example, after sharing to Facebook platform, you will get an extra 25 dice roll opportunities, and sharing to the phone’s contact books will get another 30 times.
Create A Dice Link
Players can try to create their own dice link and share it with friends who have not downloaded the game yet, so that they can get free dice roll and stickers.
Don’t Indulge In Game For A Long Time
For novice players, it is easy to fall into such a misunderstanding that the longer you play the game, the easier it is to upgrade the game level or get more rewards. But this does not apply to Monopoly Go.
For example, the shield mechanism is actually very good and can help players resist attacks, but the number that can be obtained is not unlimited. Each player can only store three at a time, and more is a waste. This also shows that Monopoly Go does not reward those who indulge in it for a long time.
The above are some suggestions for players who are experiencing Monopoly Go for the first time. Hope you can have fun on the next game journey.

Monopoly Go Harry Potter GO Album Dice Management Guide | How To Effectively Get And Save Them?
Monopoly Go Harry Potter GO! album launches on December 10th! Many people love the legendary Harry Potter story, so this album is expected to be just as exciting as Marvel Go album!
The various events in this album will undoubtedly bring a variety of Hogwarts-themed shield tokens and dice skins, which will be the final rewards for special events. However, participating in these events requires dice, which are the most consumed item in Monopoly Go. How can you effectively acquire and use them during this album season?

Harry Potter GO Album Rewards
Completing the album's sticker collection is the biggest challenge of each season, and completing the album will reward you with a large number of dice. Let's take a look at the rewards you can get after completing the entire sticker collection.
Based on last season's rewards, completing the album for the first time will grant you the following rewards:
- 15,000 dice rolls
- A large amount of cash
- Harry Potter themed Board Token
Completing the album for the second time will grant you the following rewards:
- 15,000 dice rolls
- A large amount of cash
- Harry Potter themed Dice Skin
How To Effectively Use Dice?
Does The 6, 7, 8 Trick Really Works?
When you look at Monopoly Go tips, you'll see some players recommend using the 6, 7, 8 trick. This involves rolling 6 to 8 spaces away from your desired location, increasing your chances of landing there. This trick is based on statistics; according to the normal distribution principle, these numbers have a higher probability of rolling. However, Monopoly Go's dice aren't real dice, and they're just a random number generator, which many players believe is not truly random but manipulated.
It manipulates your position based on your dice roll and the event content, so the 6, 7, 8 trick is essentially ineffective, and the probability of rolling a 7 is only around 16%. You might win occasionally, but you'll lose your luck in the long run, which is one of the secrets to Monopoly Go becoming one of the most profitable mobile games.
Free Dice
The developers don't want all players to leave due to a lack of Monopoly Go dice, so they give away a minimum amount of dice daily to allow you to participate in events. You can obtain dice through:
- Free Gift
- Daily Free Dice Links
- Quick Wins Rewards
- Community Chests
If you diligently collect all of the above daily, you can get at least several hundred dice each day. Furthermore, if you run out of dice, the game will automatically replenish some, but it refills slowly and has a cap.
How To Participate In Tournaments?
Tournaments and banner events are held almost daily, and compared to banner events, tournaments also offer ranking rewards. Top finishers receive sticker packs, cash, and dice, making tournaments generally worthwhile.
However, even if you achieve a ranking, the extra dice often don't compensate for your expenditure, as players typically participate for the tokens and sticker packs. Therefore, you need to assess whether participating in a tournament that day is sometimes worthwhile.
First, you need to successfully land your pieces on the railway a few times to gain points in the tournament. Then, wait a while to see how many points the leaderboard player has. If it's too high (you can set a baseline for yourself, such as 5000 points), then drop the tournament.
If the leaderboard player doesn't have many points, don't rush to surpass them, as they might be a bot. As your points increase, theirs will also increase, forcing you to chase them, and the organizers use this method to deplete your dice.
The safest method is to try and catch up in the last hour before the tournament ends, when the game‘s manipulation of the pieces is much weaker. This method also works for other events. Additionally, you're more likely to win at midnight when other players are resting.
Finding A Game Partner
This is still related to tournaments. When you reach a railway tile and trigger the mini-game, your minimum score is 2 points, which is when you're in Shutdown Blocked. To get more points, you need a partner who doesn't shield buildings, ensuring your attacks are successful every time. This means you'll get at least 4 points, saving you a lot of dice.
Sticker Trading
You'll often receive dice rewards when you complete a sticker set. However, don't waste dice collecting stickers early in the sticker season, and save them for the later stages.
Towards the end of the sticker season, some players give up because they can't collect all the stickers. They'll practically give them away to other players, making sticker collection much easier later on. Remember to share your extra stickers with other players who need them - mutual help is key.
Multiplier Techniques
The following techniques are just speculation from the player community and may not actually work. That is, when you set a multiplier, certain numbers have a higher probability of appearing. For example, a multiplier of 50 makes it easier to get a 10, while a multiplier of 20 makes it easier to get a 6 or a 7. You'll need to experiment to find the specific patterns. If this works for you, you can manipulate the dice results to some extent.
Alternatively, these techniques might help you accumulate some dice, but if Harry Potter GO event offers the shield or token skins you want, don't hesitate - try every method to get them!

Monopoly Go December 7-10 Schedule Wool Whoosh Event Gameplay And Rewards
Hi tycoons! Cozy Comfort album, running from October 15th to December 10th for 56 days, is finally coming to an end. The next album, Harry Potter Go, promises even more fun.
Wool Whoosh is the final banner event for this album, marking its end and the arrival of the new one. Let's see what rewards this event offers.

Date
Wool Whoosh banner event will run from 3 PM EST on December 7th, 2025 to 12 PM EST on December 10th, 2025, lasting a total of 69 hours.
How To Earn Points?
Wool Whoosh banner event requires a total of 49,430 points to unlock all 62 milestones. Due to the ongoing Sticker Drop event, the rewards for this banner event include Peg-E tokens.
To progress through Wool Whoosh banner event, you need to land your piece on one of the four corner squares of the board, each square providing 4 points. Because these squares are scattered, there aren't any particularly good scoring strategies.
You can let the system roll the dice automatically for you, but if you want to save some for Harry Potter Go, you can manually set multipliers before approaching these squares. Each of the four squares has a different effect; I recommend setting the multiplier before Go To Jail square, as you have a chance to replenish your dice based on the result of your roll on this square.
- Go: Passing over or landing on this square grants some cash.
- Jail: Landing here usually has no penalty or additional effect.
- Free Parking: This can often be considered a safe square.
- Go To Jail: If you land here, you'll be sent to Jail, but you have a chance to escape by rolling doubles. If successful, you'll receive a free dice roll.
Wool Whoosh Rewards
Since the final reward for Sticker Drop event includes two Wild stickers, if you still have some Monopoly Go stickers left to collect in your Cozy Comfort album, you'll likely have to work hard to collect 710 Peg-E tokens in Wool Whoosh milestone.
The approximate rewards for Wool Whoosh campaign are as follows:
- 20,275 dice
- 710 Peg-E tokens
- 2 Green Sticker Packs

Monopoly GO Harry Potter GO Album Collection: How To Get All Stickers As Quickly As Possible?
A new Monopoly GO sticker album is coming soon! Harry Potter fans are going to be thrilled, as the new season features a magical collaboration with Harry Potter!
During Harry Potter GO album season, you can not only experience unique Harry Potter-themed boards and mini-games, but also choose your own house, explore Hogwarts Castle, and wander through a world full of magical elements. You'll also have the chance to collect themed stickers featuring characters and scenes such as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Hagrid, Dumbledore, and more!

Harry Potter GO Album Details
Harry Potter GO season will begin on December 10th at 1 PM EST, immediately following the previous Cozy Comforts album. However, the duration of this album is currently unknown. Based on our experience with Stars Wars GO and Marvel GO, we estimate it will last approximately 60 to 70 days, possibly ending around February of next year.
This album has 23 sticker sets, each containing nine cards, meaning there are a total of 207 cards to collect during this season.
Among them, there are 52 rare gold stickers, 19 more than the previous season. In addition, this album also includes five 6-star stickers and 35 five-star stickers. These high-star stickers are often the biggest obstacle to completing the entire set. This shows just how difficult it is to collect all the stickers in this album!
However, completing the sticker album collection is an unmissable goal every season, and Harry Potter GO is no exception. This is not only because it's one of the core mechanics of Monopoly GO and is inextricably linked to most daily activities and mini-games, but more importantly, the 15,000 or more dice rolls and special tokens awarded for completing the standard sticker album are a crucial source of player engagement and a sense of accomplishment.
Therefore, here we will share some feasible ways and the latest tips for collecting stickers in Monopoly GO. To help you find your target cards faster, we will provide different collection methods based on the rarity level of the stickers.
Low-Star Stickers (1-4 Stars)
As is well known, Monopoly GO stickers are divided into 6 levels, represented by different colors: green, yellow, pink, blue, purple, and red for 1-6 star sticker packs, respectively.
For 1-4 star cards in the game, they are usually the most common, and you can find them through these methods:
Opening Sticker Packs
Opening sticker packs is the most direct way to obtain stickers, but the probability of getting different star-rated cards varies in each pack. If you want to get some low-star stickers, aim for blue or pink sticker packs, which can help you complete your goal faster.
Stickers For Rewards
While collecting low-star stickers, you'll frequently encounter the word: duplicate. Yes, you'll often get duplicate cards when opening sticker packs, and this is where Stickers for Rewards feature comes in handy.
This allows you to exchange duplicate stickers for vaults with unique rewards. The type of vault you can exchange for depends on your star count (converted from duplicate stickers), and these vaults can provide you with different sticker packs and dice rewards.
Completing Banner Events & Tournaments
Monopoly GO features multiple events every day. By participating, you have the chance to win various rewards, including event tokens, dice, cash, in-game boosters, and sticker packs of different rarities.
However, obtaining blue or purple sticker packs usually requires completing all milestones and ranking high on the leaderboard. So, if your goal is only low-star stickers, don't bother with all that effort; just aim for the yellow and pink sticker packs in the first half of the milestones.
High-Star Stickers (5-6 Stars)
For these 5-6 star stickers, obtaining them requires more than just opening regular sticker packs and simply completing daily activities. You need to aim for purple and red sticker packs.
Complete Your Weekly Quick Wins Progress
Remember, to get the ultimate reward from Quick Wins progress bar, you can't just occasionally log in to the game. You must complete weekly tasks and accumulate points. Purple sticker packs are one of the most important ways to obtain high-star Monopoly GO cards.
Playing Community Chest
6-star stickers are currently the rarest stickers in Monopoly GO, with extremely low drop rates. These cards can only be obtained by opening red sticker packs. The only way to obtain these rare sticker packs is by completing Community Chest.
Community Chest is now a weekly cooperative mini-game. You need to team up with three friends to complete shared tasks and regularly land on Community Chest spaces on the board to fully upgrade three different chests and win rewards.
Trading With Friends
During the long collection process, you may always get some duplicate stickers, including high-star ones. Don't worry, because other players are in the same situation. So, look for players in the community who have stickers you need, and you can trade cards you're missing without relying entirely on random sticker drop rates.
Gold Cards
Gold cards are the golden versions of regular Monopoly GO stickers, and obviously, they are rarer. These cards cannot be obtained through daily player trading.
Golden Blitz
The most important way to obtain these gold stickers is to participate in Golden Blitz! This is a trading event in Monopoly GO, usually lasting one day, during which you are allowed to trade two specified gold stickers, depending on player votes. These Golden Blitz events are usually more frequent in the later stages of the season, so you can prepare your stickers and find some trustworthy partners in advance for trading.
Using Wild Stickers
Wild Stickers allow players to choose any missing sticker to complete their sticker sets, including all tradable stickers, as well as those hard-to-obtain non-tradable gold stickers. However, Wild Stickers themselves are difficult to obtain, and can only be acquired by ranking first in tournaments or completing special events such as partner events or racer events.
Visit IGGM.com
There is actually a simpler method: directly buy Monopoly GO Harry Potter GO stickers you need on IGGM. IGGM has a complete range of stickers for sale; whether you need 1-6 star stickers or gold stickers, we can provide them. Furthermore, we closely monitor every Golden Blitz event, and if you're missing a specific sticker but can't find a suitable trading partner, come to us! In short, we hope these methods will help you obtain the target stickers you need as quickly as possible during Harry Potter GO album event, complete your album, and win the ultimate prize! Good luck!

Monopoly Go December 9-10 Golden Blitz Schedule And Gold Stickers | Frosty Fox And To All A Goodnight
The beloved Monopoly Go Cozy Comforts Album collection journey is drawing to a close. Since the album ends at the same time as Golden Blitz event, we're certain this will be the last Golden Blitz event of this album.
If you haven't yet collected all the stickers from Cozy Comforts Album, this is undoubtedly your last and best chance.

Below, I'll provide a detailed introduction to Golden Blitz event and its related content, allowing you to make the most of this opportunity and maximize your gains.
Golden Blitz Event
Monopoly Go is beloved by players worldwide for its fun event mechanics and rich content. Its numerous events and mini-games have attracted countless players, and among these fun events, Golden Blitz event stands out at the top.
Golden Blitz event is a limited-time special event designed to solve one of the game's biggest collection challenges: obtaining rare gold stickers. This event, where you can acquire your dream stickers simply through trading, has driven countless collectors wild.
The primary reason for the player frenzy is the rarity of gold stickers.
As is well known, Monopoly Go gold stickers are among the most coveted items for many players. They are not only difficult to obtain easily in the game, but also non-tradable. This characteristic often leaves players helpless and fuels the anticipation surrounding Golden Blitz event.
Furthermore, players are highly likely to obtain duplicate stickers in the game, making it even more difficult to collect the entire album.
While these duplicate stickers can be broken down to obtain stars, which can be used to redeem Stars Vaults, the chance of obtaining the exact sticker a player is missing through this method is extremely low. This is clearly not an ideal solution for players pursuing specific stickers.
To help players collect them more easily, and to balance game difficulty with player interest, Monopoly Go launched Golden Blitz event. It changed the game rules, allowing players to trade designated gold stickers with other players.
During each event, participants can exchange up to two designated gold stickers at a time, with a maximum of five trades per day.
This trading mechanism turns duplicate stickers into valuable assets, allowing players to exchange stickers to fill gaps in their albums.
Event Dates And Gold Stickers
Golden Blitz event will run from December 9th to December 10th, lasting 24 hours, similar to previous events.
It's important to note that, like all Golden Blitz events, this is a limited-time event. Furthermore, these designated stickers are only available for exchange during this event.
After the event ends, there will be no further opportunities to redeem them through this event. If you want to participate, be sure to mark your calendars to avoid missing out.
Following a fierce player vote, Monopoly Go Set 17 Frosty Fox and Set 22 To All A Goodnight have been selected as the designated Gold stickers for this event.
These two rare stickers from Cozy Comforts Album are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly collectible, and have always been popular among players. If you happen to be missing these two stickers, don't hesitate to take action and exchange them with other players.
Why This Golden Blitz Event Is Not To Be Missed?
In my opinion, there are several reasons why this event is worth participating in for all players. The most important of these is that it's the best way to collect all the stickers in the Cozy Comforts Album.
For any player who wants to fulfill their collecting dreams, collecting all the stickers in the album is no easy task. The rarity of gold stickers and the possibility of obtaining duplicate stickers in the album both require players to invest a considerable amount of time and effort in Monopoly Go.
What's even more frustrating is that even with such effort, players may still fail to achieve their goals and end up disappointed with an incomplete album.
But Golden Blitz event makes collecting easy. Without relying on luck, directly trading with other players is the fastest way to collect all the stickers.
Furthermore, regardless of whether you ultimately manage to trade for the stickers you need, the trading mechanism in this event builds a bridge for communication and interaction with other players.
Because this event encourages close cooperation between players and fosters a win-win mentality, it will help you more easily gain close friends and partners in future cooperative events.
More importantly, with Cozy Comforts Album coming to an end, the chances of duplicate gold stickers being useful in the game are slim. This means many players will take this opportunity to exchange stickers they no longer need, giving you a greater chance to trade for the items you want.
From any perspective, this is an event not to be missed. Whether you're a casual player looking for an easy sticker collection or a dedicated collector, this event has something for you.
Don't miss this opportunity! Get ready to join the final frenzy of the Cozy Comforts Album anytime now.

Monopoly Go December 3-5 Schedule Leaf Shower Event Gameplay And Rewards
Entering December means Cozy Comforts album collection is coming to an end soon (ending December 10th). Until then, you should focus on each event to collect as many new stickers as possible to unlock more collection rewards for the album.
No new major events are launching this week, so daily banner events and tournaments are your main sources of stickers or dice. Therefore, this guide will cover Leaf Shower event, including gameplay and rewards.

Leaf Shower Schedule
Monopoly Go actually held an event with the same name in mid-October, but it differed from this Leaf Shower in terms of duration and rewards.
This round of Leaf Shower started at 1:00 AM on December 3rd and will continue until the same time on December 5th, approximately 3 hours shorter than the previous event. In addition, the changes to the main rewards are as follows:
- 18,205 Free Dice Rolls in total
- 216 Event Tokens in total
- 3 Pink Sticker Packs at the 26th Milestone
- 15-Minute Builder's Bash at the 18th Milestone
- 15-Minute Color Wheel Boost at the 44th Milestone
- 40-Minute Mega Heist at the 50th Milestone
- 15-Minute Cash Grab Boost at the 57th Milestone
It's worth mentioning that, as of the time of this writing, the latest round of Golden Blitz in the game is still ongoing, meaning you still have a chance to earn Bright & Merry and Toasty Treat gold stickers for free by participating!
Golden Blitz events are usually held more frequently near the end of the season, giving you the opportunity to earn new rare stickers for your current album, so there might be another Golden Blitz event before the 10th.
However, if you haven't found a player willing to trade with you during the event, it's best to buy Monopoly Go stickers you're still lacking to avoid missing out on the collection rewards.
How To Complete This Event?
To obtain all rewards, you need to earn at least 49,445 points in this Leaf Shower. To do this, you must continuously move the dice across the board and land on two special target tiles.
Special tiles differ from corner tiles; their distribution on the board is random. Therefore, it's best not to enable auto-roll or blindly increase the dice multiplier. Instead, do so only when the target tiles appear in clusters.
Alternatively, if you find railway tiles ahead, you can also increase the multiplier, as these tiles will help you earn points in the tournament on December 3-4 to unlock rewards.
All Leaf Shower Rewards
The rewards for this event follow the regular Monopoly Go daily events. While the sticker packs aren't particularly rare, considering the upcoming release of the new Harry Potter Go album, it's best to try to obtain them to avoid missing any opportunities to acquire new cards.
