• Monopoly Go Monster Mash Partners Event Problems: Teaming Restrictions, Bugs & Player Complaints

With only about two days left until the end of Monster Mash Partners event in Monopoly Go, players and their teammates should be pushing hard to reach their goals. Instead, some have already given up on the event entirely.

This is because some players discovered they were unable to team up with friends located in certain regions.

While it is possible to find new partners, for those accustomed to playing with long-time friends, the joy of playing together is often more valuable than the in-game rewards themselves.

What's particularly frustrating is that this restriction wasn't always in place, it appeared suddenly during Monster Mash Partners event.

To make matters worse, Monopoly Go provided no detailed explanation, dismissing the issue by simply claiming that players were on different versions of the game.

This explanation is hardly convincing; after all, there has been no prior indication that Monopoly Go has released region-specific versions of the game.

Furthermore, if you are unable to team up with people you know, you may find yourself paired with strangers, a situation that often lacks the synergy needed to achieve strong results in Monster Mash Partners. Who is supposed to compensate players for this loss?

In reality, the controversy surrounding this event is merely the tip of the iceberg. It highlights deeper, underlying issues with how Monopoly Go manages its Partners events, and perhaps even the fundamental logic governing the game as a whole. We will explore these issues further.

  Vague "optimizations"

Regarding the regional restrictions on forming teams, Monopoly Go stated in-game that this was the result of testing intended to optimize the partner event experience.

If you cannot find or invite a specific friend to join your team, it means that, due to this testing, you and your friend are participating in different versions of Monster Mash Partners. You are simply left to find other available players instead.

The absurdity lies in the fact that the developers have neither explained the nature of these tests nor offered any compensation to the affected players, as if the existing flaws in the partners event were somehow the players' fault.

Moreover, if these tests result in players from different regions experiencing different versions of the game, could this also impact future Partners events or even the day-to-day gameplay experience?

To date, there has been no clear response to these concerns. While claiming to implement optimizations for Monster Mash Partners Event, Monopoly Go has also acknowledged a bug: some players may find the event's spinning wheel missing entirely.

The development team is currently working on a fix. If you encounter this issue, your only recourse is to restart the game and then tap on any landmark in the center of the board to re-enter the event.

Frankly, if the developers cannot even ensure a smooth, basic experience for a Partners event, then consuming time on vague, undisclosed optimizations is nothing more than a waste of effort.

Even if these optimizations are truly significant, and for some reason must remain confidential, the developers should have at least warned players about potential risks, allowing them to prepare accordingly and minimize any losses.

  Double-edged negative impact

In Monopoly Go's Monster Mash Partners event, you can only secure the ultimate rewards, such as many dice and high-tier sticker packs, by completing the construction of landmarks with your partners within the designated timeframe.

However, the latest regional restrictions have turned a technical inconvenience into a tangible loss of time and potential rewards. If you are unable to invite your usual partners, will you have enough time to find suitable replacements?

After all, the success of a Monopoly Go Partners event depends heavily on the reliability of your teammates. Rushing to pick partners can lead to stalled progress, while carefully vetting strangers consumes valuable time.

Therefore, if you are a player less affected by these regional restrictions, it is better to buy Monopoly Go Monster Mash Partner Event slots directly! This allows you to quickly secure three reliable teammates and avoid unnecessary headaches.

In reality, these regional restrictions, or discrepancies between different game versions, impact not only the players but Monopoly Go itself.

As a board game that relies heavily on time-limited events and social interaction, Monopoly Go's success hinges on its active player base.

When the process of forming teams for a Partners event becomes overly complicated, some players may simply choose to opt out, leading to a decline in the game's overall engagement and activity levels.

Furthermore, if the development team fails to provide a clear response, players may become reluctant to participate in future partner events, all to avoid the risk of suffering similar losses again.

  Disregard for player rights

The value of Monopoly Go Partners events lies not merely in the final rewards; it encompasses the autonomy to choose your collaborators and manage your own time, as well as the sense of achievement that comes from working toward a shared goal.

If players in different regions remain unable to team up, ostensibly due to version differences, it effectively strips them of a significant choice.

This is not to suggest that Monopoly Go should avoid testing or optimizing the game experience; however, if such improvements come at the cost of players' existing social rights, the trade-off is arguably not worth it.

It remains unclear whether the team-up restrictions encountered during the recent Monster Mash Partners event will be resolved, or if they are intended to become a permanent fixture.

At the very least, we hope that Monopoly Go will engage with its player base in a sincere and transparent manner, keeping players informed about optimization plans to put their minds at ease, rather than leaving them to feel unfairly treated and uncertain.

• Monopoly Go Rolling Tales Mystery Mansion Event Guide: Gameplay, Community Voting Results & Free Sticker Rewards

Halloween season is always one of the busiest and most themed periods of the year for Monopoly Go. Monster Mash season takes this tradition to a new level: it's no longer just about stacking dice and stickers, but about putting the story's direction in the players' hands.

As a returning community-driven feature this season, Rolling Tales: Mystery Mansion gradually unveils the secrets hidden in the mansion through investigating clues, sharing speculations, and participating in community voting, giving players a sense of participation in solving the mystery beyond just rolling dice.

  Event Schedule

The event schedule is as follows:

  • Event Start: October 17th
  • First Round Voting Results: Announced October 20th
  • Second Round Voting Results: Announced October 23rd
  • Third Round Voting Results: Announced October 26th
  • Event End: October 26th

  Main Gameplay

Rolling Tales: Mystery Mansion's core gameplay combines a continuous storyline, community interaction, and reward unlocking, allowing players to influence the exploration of the mysterious mansion by participating in the story, sharing clues, and voting.

This design continues the interactive approach of Monopoly GO's previous community events such as Rolling Ever After, shifting the story's setting to the more suspenseful and Halloween-themed Mystery Mansion.

Unlike conventional board-based dice games, tournaments, or treasure hunts, Rolling Tales emphasizes player participation within the official community. The overall gameplay can be understood from the following three aspects:

Follow the Storyline, Explore the Mysterious Mansion

The event will revolve around Mr. M and the Mystery Mansion, gradually revealing story content and new plot clues through official community channels. Players can follow official story posts to learn about character actions, unusual situations in the mansion, and the current stage of the story.

The focus of this section is not on completing specific tasks on the game board, but on preparing for subsequent community interactions by following the official narrative. As the story unfolds, players can also use the released information to deduce and discuss possible future events.

Participate in Community Voting to Jointly Decide the Story's Direction

Community voting is a key interactive element of Rolling Tales series. At crucial points in the story, the official team will announce different choices, inviting players to vote on the subsequent plot or exploration direction.

Voting themes may revolve around routes, doors, or clues in the story. Unlike single-player storylines that are entirely pre-set by the game, these events emphasize collective community participation. Player choices will shape the subsequent narrative of the event, allowing the entire community to experience the story's development together.

  Follow for Rewards Distribution

Rolling Tales events typically require players to register through an official form. Only registered players are eligible to receive corresponding rewards after the story concludes. Rewards are typically distributed within a few days after the storyline concludes; previously, the Rolling Ever After rewards distribution window was approximately 5 days after the event ended.

First Round Voting Results and Known Rewards

The first round of community voting has concluded, with Dracula emerging victorious in Dracula vs. Frankie choice. The announced reward for this round is a 3-Star Sticker Pack.

In addition to the first round voting results, the official website also released information about Ghost Guide and announced an additional giveaway: 10 randomly selected registered players will each receive a 5-Star Sticker Pack.

For players still collecting Monster Mash album, Monopoly Go stickers from this community event offer a free opportunity to supplement their collection.

Based on currently available event information, the following version retains the confirmed first round results and rewards, and provides a more accurate description of the eligibility for the additional giveaway.

  Strategy Recommendations

From a return-on-investment perspective, Rolling Tales: Mystery Mansion differs from the regular Monopoly Go events in its resource consumption logic. It doesn't require players to land on specific squares on the board to accumulate points, nor does it have a hard threshold regarding the number of dice rolls needed to complete a level.

Therefore, a reasonable strategy is to treat Rolling Tales as a low-cost parallel activity during the Monster Mash season, utilizing spare moments to complete the interaction without affecting other activities. First, completing the registration is the first and most crucial step. After registering, set the official Discord or Facebook page as a reminder. Simply spend a minute or two each time a voting window opens to complete your selection; there's no need to adjust your dice usage or pause other activities.

Second, manage your time and dice resources wisely. If you're participating in Haunted Treasures, Racers, or other limited-time events simultaneously, prioritize in-game tasks with clear countdowns, and then use spare moments while waiting for teammates or during event breaks to complete the community vote.

Finally, pay attention to the reward distribution conditions. Registration, voting, and reward collection are separate processes; carefully read the current rules to confirm whether additional registration is required.

Overall, Rolling Tales: Mystery Mansion adds a unique community interaction experience to Monopoly Go Monster Mash season, different from traditional dice-rolling gameplay, allowing players to explore the story, participate in voting, and also have the chance to earn sticker rewards. Don't miss this mysterious mansion adventure!

• Bonus Sets Are Back in Monopoly Go Monster Mash Album | How to Get Rewards before Time Runs Out?

Tycoons, are you still enjoying the spooky, fun vibes of Monster Mash album? Some players have likely already noticed that the challenging Bonus Sets have quietly returned to Monopoly Go. For those who love collecting stickers and exclusive album items, these sets put both your strategy and luck to the test.

Whether you have previously collected a full set of Bonus Sets, it is worth revisiting how the process works in the current game and learning how to maximize your rewards within the limited collection window.

  What are Bonus Sets?

Simply put, Bonus Sets are extra collection tasks in Monopoly Go that exist independently of the main album.

During the current Monster Mash album season, three Bonus Sets will be rolled out one by one; you'll need to collect specific stickers to unlock the ultimate reward.

Unlike the main album, Bonus Sets are completely optional, so you don't have to worry about them interfering with your progress on the main collection.

Essentially, they serve as an advanced challenge for collectors, giving you an additional objective to pursue alongside your daily album collecting.

Since completing these Bonus Sets grants rewards unavailable through standard gameplay, you should understand the mechanics involved before deciding whether to invest the extra effort needed to complete them.

How do you complete Bonus Sets?

There are many ways to obtain Bonus Sets sticker packs: you might find them as rewards for daily progress or for completing limited-time in-game events, and sometimes they even appear when spinning Color Wheel.

Ranking high on the leaderboard can earn you even better Bonus Set rewards; first place usually takes home two sticker packs, while second and third place get one each.

Of course, the competition on the leaderboard is fierce - you'll often need to burn through a lot of dice and play intensely across multiple events to secure a top spot.

Therefore, it is far wiser to pause and assess your current resources, then focus your efforts on the most cost-effective acquisition method, rather than blindly participating in every single event.

If your dice and playtime are limited, you can also simply buy Monopoly Go stickers to complete your Bonus Sets.

  Bonus Set Rewards

While the process of collecting stickers is rewarding in itself, the most thrilling moment - and the one that really gets your heart racing - is often when the final reward is revealed.

This is because after all the hard work of completing a Bonus Set, the game doesn't award a specific, guaranteed grand prize; instead, it grants a random reward.

For instance, you might receive Rumi's Moment shield or Stay Puft token, but the outcome is entirely random - you have no say in the matter.

Many players in the community have expressed disappointment, noting that while they were hoping for a specific token, they frequently ended up with Rumi's Moment instead.

This lack of choice regarding the reward can lead to a sense of letdown; it often feels like the prize you want most is the one that slips through your fingers.

Even though completing a Bonus Set is an impressive feat, the frustration of not getting the specific reward you desired can overshadow that sense of accomplishment.

Consequently, many players are calling on Monopoly Go development team to refine Bonus Set reward system and offer more direct, predictable returns.

  Collection Strategy

Each Bonus Set typically lasts only seven days, and collecting the specific gold stickers required within that limited timeframe is no simple task.

Given the tight schedule and the unpredictable nature of sticker drop rates, patience is key to success.

After all, gold stickers are among the scarcest resources in Monopoly Go and have very low drop rates; recklessly burning through your dice in an attempt to get them can easily result in a total loss.

With that in mind, you might be better off focusing on daily tasks, special events, and Color Wheel to find the optimal moment to collect stickers.

Just as with other special events, you need to pace yourself strategically: conserve your resources during the first half of the event and make a powerful push in the second half to get the most out of your dice.

If you manage the timing of the event wisely and avoid rushing, you can easily complete your Bonus Set collection before running out of dice.

  Helping Each Other

If you find yourself missing just one or two elusive cards while working on your Bonus Sets, try checking the community or reaching out to your Monopoly Go friends.

Many players initiate friendly trades during the collection process; sharing your duplicate resources with others can often help you acquire the specific sticker you need most.

This is especially true as the seven-day event cycle draws to a close, when more players in the community are willing to gift or trade cards. By maintaining a friendly attitude and a spirit of sharing, you stand a great chance of completing your Bonus Sets.

No matter which grand prize you ultimately win, completing Bonus Sets in Monopoly Go is a fantastic achievement! Keep a relaxed mindset and enjoy trying your luck with friends in the game ahead!

• Monopoly GO Franken Paths Explained: Keep or Send? The Choice That Can Change Your Team's Progress

The latest Monster Mash season brings a wealth of colorful, Halloween-themed content to Monopoly GO. Beyond collecting candy in Luck-O-Lantern event to win rewards with friends, you can also dive into the thrilling new Trick or Treat event—where you'll dodge ghosts while hunting for bonus candy rewards!

In addition to these fresh visuals and gameplay elements, Monster Mash introduces a new way for Tycoons to make decisions, collaborate, and share rewards. This feature—a new mini-game called Franken Paths—isn't about collecting candy or competing on leaderboards; instead, it requires players to work with teammates and make strategic choices whenever they make progress.

Unlike many Monopoly GO events where the primary goal is simply to earn points and advance a personal progress bar, Franken Paths introduces a simple yet crucial choice: Keep or Send.

After every spin, you must decide whether to keep the progress you've earned for your own path or send it to a teammate. Your choice affects not only your personal rewards but also the speed at which your team completes their paths and races toward the grand prize.

So, what exactly is Franken Paths? How does the Keep or Send mechanic work? And when should you choose to keep your progress rather than sending it to someone else? Here is everything you need to know about this mini-game.

  How Does Franken Paths Work?

As a new team-based mini-game during Monster Mash season, the basic gameplay of Franken Paths is simple: you and your teammates advance along your respective paths, accumulating progress and unlocking rewards as you go. However, the progress you earn doesn't necessarily have to be used by you.

After every spin, Franken Paths presents you with a choice:

  • Keep the progress to advance your own path.
  • Send the progress to a teammate to help them advance their path.

This mechanic creates a team-oriented gameplay experience unlike previous Monopoly GO mini-games.

We no longer focus solely on how much progress we can gain; instead, we must consider another question: who on the team would benefit the most from this progress? Simply put, Franken Paths combines individual progress with team collaboration. Players must build their own paths while also helping teammates advance theirs, working together to aim for the ultimate grand prize.

Keep or Send: How Should You Choose?

In reality, there is no single correct choice that applies in every situation, as the core design philosophy of Monopoly GO Franken Paths is based on team decision-making.

The best choice depends on the status of your current path and the progress your teammates have made on theirs.

So, when should you choose Keep? It is valuable to keep the progress gained from a spin if you are close to securing a rare sticker or a large dice reward, if keeping the progress allows you to immediately unlock a milestone reward on your path, or if your personal progress is lagging significantly and needs priority attention.

Conversely, if a teammate is just shy of reaching a major milestone, or if your own path won't benefit immediately from this progress while another teammate is far behind, choosing Send to help them complete their path will contribute to the team's overall goal.

The choice between Keep and Send is crucial. The goal isn't necessarily to maximize your own progress at every opportunity—nor is it to simply give all your progress away—but rather to determine where allocating that progress will yield the best results.

  Franken Paths Tips for Beginner

If you are playing Monopoly GO Franken Paths for the first time, you don't need an overly complex strategy. After each spin, simply check the following three points:

  1. How far am I from the next reward?

If you are about to reach an important milestone, choosing Keep to speed up your progress might be a logical choice. Be sure to pay attention to the specific rewards associated with that milestone. For example, if the next reward includes valuable Monopoly GO stickers that could help you complete your current Monster Mash album, then the immediate value of keeping your progress might be greater than transferring it elsewhere.

  2. How is my teammate's progress?

Check your teammates' progress before deciding whether to send yours. If a teammate is just one step away from a major reward, your progress could give them the boost they need.

  3. Which choice drives the team forward?

This is the most critical question. Avoid reflexively choosing Keep or automatically sending the result of every spin. Instead, you should weigh your current progress against your teammates' needs.

Consequently, teamwork and coordination are crucial in Franken Paths event—far more so than in many traditional Monopoly GO events—because your decisions can directly benefit your teammates.

  Conclusion

As an engaging new addition to Monopoly GO Monster Mash season, Franken Paths redefines teamwork. You are no longer merely contributing points toward a shared goal; you have the opportunity to decide how to utilize the progress you've earned.

Every spin presents a simple choice: Keep or Send? The key is to avoid viewing either option as the always correct move.

The goal is to combine both approaches to help the team advance together and secure the grand prize. There is no single best strategy; you must constantly monitor your teammates' progress, communicate when necessary, and prioritize the team's overall interests rather than simply keeping every spin for yourself.

• Monopoly Go Luck-O-Lantern Guide: How to Collect Candy and Claim Rewards in Monster Mash Album?

Tycoons, as Halloween elements gradually fill Monopoly Go board, the festive atmosphere of Monster Mash album is intensifying, have you noticed the grinning, witch-hat-wearing pumpkin at the top of the album while you're busy collecting stickers and climbing the leaderboards? That's Luck-O-Lantern - a brand-new social interaction feature introduced with this album.

Luck-O-Lantern does more than just give Monopoly Go interface a fresh look; it serves as a key hub for sharing luck with your friends!

  Access and Unlocking

You can find the entrance to Luck-O-Lantern right at the top of Monster Mash album, displayed alongside your current sticker collection progress. If you don't see it immediately, simply return to the album's main screen and scroll up a bit.

However, to wake it up, you'll need to keep collecting candy to fill it to the brim.

The initial unlock threshold is usually set between 40 and 50 candies. Once you see the progress bar fill up completely, you can tap the pumpkin to kick off a journey of unpredictable rewards within Monopoly Go.

The whole process builds anticipation, feeling like a special Halloween surprise prepared by the development team for the players.

  How to collect candy?

Candy doesn't just drop at random moments; earning it requires staying active across various parts of the game.

Typically, candy appears as a surprise bonus when you open sticker packs in Monopoly Go, giving you a chance to earn a certain amount with every pack you open.

You might also find candy among the rewards on Color Wheel or as an extra gift in mini-games.

This means you don't have to completely alter your dice-rolling strategy for the sake of Luck-O-Lantern; simply view candy collection as a bonus to your daily gameplay - an approach that can actually boost your overall efficiency.

Actively participating in in-game tournaments and aiming for the top ranks remains a reliable way to earn candy.

Additionally, when playing on the board with a high dice multiplier (such as x1000) and landing on a specific Lantern railroad tile, the system accumulates a significant amount of candy for you based on that multiplier.

Since every player invests a different amount of effort into Monopoly Go, the rate of candy accumulation varies; you can gather it gradually over multiple sessions rather than burning through your dice just to collect it.

Maintaining a steady pace and staying active daily is the key to accumulating candy.

What happens after you've collected enough candy?

Once you've filled Luck-O-Lantern with candy, tapping it triggers an interactive sequence. First, the system asks you to select a lucky friend from your list, after which a reward board consisting of nine squares begins to flash.

Lights cycle randomly across the rewards before finally locking in a prize for both you and your friend.

Selecting a friend first and then waiting for the drawn reward adds a special sense of occasion to every sharing moment.

  Luck-O-Lantern Rewards

The rewards from Luck-O-Lantern cover a wide variety of useful resources within Monopoly Go.

Dice are the most common reward, though the quantity varies, ranging from a few hundred to over a thousand (e.g., 450, 750, or 1000).

Sticker packs are another frequent reward, including purple packs and others of varying rarity. If you've been missing specific Monopoly Go stickers, collecting candy to open Luck-O-Lantern is a great opportunity to complete your sets.

There are also tokens - highly coveted by players - which can be used in specific events or kept as collectibles.

However, sometimes you might simply receive an emoji for chat interactions, adding a touch of social fun.

Additionally, you might obtain limited-time boosts from Luck-O-Lantern that increase your sticker acquisition efficiency for a short period - a particularly useful feature for players currently working to complete Monster Mash album.

There are also rewards offering short-term boosts, such as 10-minute or 15-minute bonuses.

Overall, Luck-O-Lantern reward pool includes items like dice, sticker packs, sticker boosts, emojis, and tokens; the specific items and quantities appearing in the 3x3 grid vary each time.

The entire reward selection process is completely randomized by the system. You cannot influence the outcome for yourself or your friend, but this very randomness makes the process of lighting up Luck-O-Lantern in Monopoly Go so much fun.

  Retry Mechanism

If you aren't satisfied with the rewards randomly assigned by Luck-O-Lantern, the system offers you a chance to retry.

However, it is important to note that a retry generates new random rewards for both you and your friend; it does not simply swap the rewards you were originally assigned.

Therefore, think carefully before clicking the reroll button to avoid missing out on rewards that were actually quite good.

If the current pair of rewards already includes something you need, you can simply claim them; consider using the retry option only if the results for both you and your friend are clearly disappointing.

Additionally, some players may find that the interface doesn't respond immediately after filling Luck-O-Lantern progress bar; this is usually because of network latency or server synchronization issues.

If Luck-O-Lantern doesn't seem to be reacting, try tapping it again or re-entering the game later - the rewards might be delayed, but they will arrive.

So, grab a friend, light up Luck-O-Lantern in Monopoly Go, and add even more surprises and fun to your Monster Mash album!

• Monopoly Go Adds Hold the Lead to the Racers Event: How to Formulate the Best New Strategy?

The recently launched Monster Mash album in Monopoly Go brings not only new stickers and collection rewards but also a host of new mechanics and gameplay elements; mastering these quickly is key to fully enjoying the season.

Among the new additions, which include Halloween-themed events like Trick or Treat and Luck-O-Lantern, is Hold the Lead, a feature designed specifically for Monopoly Go racers event.

As you know, the racers event is a primary way to earn rare rewards through teamwork in Monopoly Go. So, what changes does Hold the Lead bring, and does it help you earn more rewards? Let's take a look.

  Traditional racers event mechanics

Before diving into Hold the Lead, it is important to understand how the traditional Racers event works, as the new feature is built directly upon that foundation.

Beyond the daily board progression, much of Monopoly Go's gameplay value lies in its various events; notably, Racers and Partners are the only two events that require teamwork.

In a standard racers event, you form a four-person team with friends or system-recommended players. You are then matched against three other teams to compete in a rally that lasts four to five days.

To win, you and your teammates must collect exclusive racer tokens through other daily activities. You then consume these tokens to spin a wheel; the resulting points (or multiplied values) are converted into driving distance for your race car.

After each race round, the system ranks teams based on their points and awards medals. After multiple rounds, the team with the highest cumulative medal count takes first place and wins the grand prize.

How does Hold the Lead work?

As a brand-new mechanic introduced with Monster Mash, Hold the Lead does not replace the original Racers event leaderboard. Instead, it exists as a parallel, additive leaderboard focused on rewarding specific performance milestones.

While you progress through the standard Racers event and its main leaderboard, Hold the Lead tracks your team's performance in real-time whenever you hold the top spot. It records exactly when you took the lead and how long you managed to maintain it.

At the conclusion of the current Racers event, Monopoly Go calculates rewards based on your team's combined performance across both the standard points leaderboard and Hold the Lead leaderboard.

Note that your team must hold first place for a continuous period of at least one minute to register a valid Hold the Lead result. Any lead lasting less than a minute does not count toward the total, though any full minutes accumulated previously are preserved.

What are the benefits of Hold the Lead?

In previous Monopoly Go Racers events, the dominant strategy was to stay low-key early on, hovering around 3rd or 4th place, while stockpiling tokens. Teams would then use the double-medal mechanic during the final race to stage a sudden, decisive comeback.

While efficient and rule-abiding, this strategy often ruined the experience for other teams. Imagine leading for almost the entire race only to be overtaken at the very last moment; it rendered all the tokens consumed earlier in the match meaningless.

With the introduction of Hold the Lead, even if your team loses the top spot on the medal leaderboard at the last minute, you can still gain an advantage based on the time you consumed in first place earlier in the race.

Beyond mitigating unfair competitive dynamics, the dual-reward calculation introduced by Hold the Lead adds strategic depth to the racers event.

Simply finishing in first place, or holding the lead for the longest time, no longer guarantees victory. You must strive for the top spot while carefully timing your moves to avoid being overtaken and to maximize your final rewards.

However, some players view this as just another hurdle designed by Monopoly Go development team to complicate the game, suspecting that the more complex the reward system, the more opportunities there are to integrate micro-transactions.

Regardless, Hold the Lead is here to stay; your best course of action is to adapt quickly and devise new strategies to lead your team to victory.

New tactics for winning the racers event

Previously, securing the grand prize in Monopoly Go Racers event simply required finishing with the highest total number of medals. However, with the addition of Hold the Lead, you can adopt different tactics based on your team's strength.

Strategy for teams with ample tokens

If you and your teammates manage to stockpile many tokens during the racers event, you should consume them quickly right from the start. Push your score to a level that is difficult for opponents in your group to match.

This allows you to hold the top spot for as long as possible during the round, significantly boosting your standing on Hold the Lead leaderboard.

Afterward, keep a close eye on the second-place team's score. Whenever they try to catch up, immediately consume more tokens to maintain the gap and deny them any chance of overtaking you.

  Strategy for F2P teams

If your team members have a limited token supply for various reasons, it is best to abandon the idea of leading the entire race. Instead, save your tokens for the most cost-effective moment to make a single, decisive push for first place.

With this in mind, the opening phase is less about sprinting and more about observing the activity levels and racing habits of the other teams in your group.

Since Monopoly Go does not restrict matchmaking based on time zones, your opponents might stop scoring while they sleep at night, a time when it is daytime for you. Launching an attack and overtaking them then allows you to maintain the lead for the next 6-8 hours.

If they stage a counter-attack during their daytime, avoid a head-to-head clash; drop back to second place and wait for the next window of opportunity to retake the lead.

It remains unclear whether Hold the Lead is a single-season feature or a new core mechanic. Regardless, while it is active, future Monopoly Go racers events will become more complex, and securing the ultimate grand prize may require greater effort.
