Lineage Classic Server Choice And Earn Adena Guide | Outsmart Other Players Like a Pro!

Category: Lineage Classic Posted: Feb 10, 2026 Views: 1417

Lineage was a wildly popular MMO in the early 21st century. Operating since 1998, it once rivaled World of Warcraft and was a milestone in Korean online gaming history. However, it gradually faded into obscurity after 2012.

Its parent company, after the huge success of Aion II in 2025, remembered Lineage. On February 6, 2026, they released Lineage Classic. Currently, it only has mian servers in Korea and Taiwan. Let's see how to get into the game and earn Lineage Classic Adena early on.

Lineage Classic Server Choice And Earn Adena Guide Outsmart Other Players Like a Pro!

How to Join Lineage Classic?

If you are a player from Korea or Taiwan, you don't need to worry about this. But if you are a player from outside these two regions, registering and playing Lineage Classic will require a little effort. You can follow these steps to register an account:

First, visit the official website of Lineage Classic and find the registration portal. Select to register using your email address.

During the registration process, when asked to select a region, please be sure to select Macau. After selecting your region, you can complete account creation. Once registered successfully, return to the official website homepage. You will see a prominent red download button; click it to download the game client.

After installing the downloaded client, you can launch the game and log in using your newly created Macau region account.

You might wonder why you chose Macau. This is because playing on Macau server eliminates the need for a VPN or identity verification. Furthermore, Macau (and Hong Kong) servers are considered the international version of Lineage Classic, making them the most friendly to overseas players.

In contrast, other servers have different restrictions:

  • Korea Server: The game language is Korean, requires identity verification, but no VPN is needed.
  • Taiwan Server: A VPN connection is required to play.

Play Mode

Currently, Lineage Classic is offering a free trial. Starting at 8 PM on February 7th, 2026, players in Korea and Taiwan can enjoy a free pre-play service, which will last until February 10th.

Starting February 11th at 10 AM, players will need a monthly subscription to continue playing, taking approximately 700 Korean Won or 4 US dollars per month. The developers promise this will be a purely subscription-based game, and if this promise is fulfilled, the game will not include any pay-to-win elements.

The season pass system in Lineage Classic also differs from the progression-acceleration passes common in modern mobile games. It primarily offers rewards related to level progress, mainly consumables such as potions and teleportation scrolls, which can also be obtained through normal gameplay. This is to prevent excessive disparities between players.

Game Content

Lineage Classic's interface design is a complete replica of the original style. If you've played Lineage before, you'll experience a strong sense of familiarity and nostalgia. Currently, it strictly recreates the early content of the original, only opening the initial few areas:

  • Talking Island
  • Dragon Valley
  • Giran

The game also offers four classic classes for players to choose from: Monarch, Knight, Elf, and Wizard.

Adena Tips

While the official future plans for the game are unclear, Lineage Classic Adena is essential if you want to gain an early advantage over other players. You'll need it for learning skills, repairing equipment, resurrecting, and teleporting. Even in the early stages, there are still ways to earn Lineage Classic Adena.

Merchant Selection

If you acquire Othell series equipment, you can sell it to the demon merchant on Talking Island. You'll earn slightly more Adena here compared to other merchants.

If you need potions and boots, go to Giran Town. The merchants there sell the same items as other merchants, but at more affordable prices.

Alternatively, you can also sell the equipment and items you trade with your merchant to other players. Some players use this to flip items for profit.

Protector's Cloak

Protector's Cloak is an excellent piece of armor and the choice of most players. The armor merchant Vladimir in Giran sells it, but you'll need 38,000 Adena, which is difficult for early-game players to accumulate. However, you can actually craft this armor yourself.

You can teleport to Giran Plaza, then open the map to find a tailor. You'll need 5 blue cloths, 5 red cloths, 10 white cloths, and 20,000 Adena to craft it.

The cloths can be traded at the cloth merchant in the lower left corner, each piece costing 220 Adena, for a total of 4400 Adena. Crafting manually will save you over 10,000 Adena.

Talking Island Scroll

You'll receive a free Talking Island Scroll upon entering the game, which you can place in your quick slot. Use it to teleport directly back to safety in dangerous situations, saving you the cost of a return scroll.

Lineage Classic has a relatively high learning curve for new players. The game's pace is much slower than modern MMORPGs, and it's also more challenging. Upgrading, resource management, and PvP all require patience and planning. But it is precisely this old-fashioned and classic design that is the core charm of Lineage Classic, allowing players to truly experience the pure fun of early online games.
