  11. AX/LAS-5 Guard Dog Rover

  AX/LAS-5 Guard Dog Rover provides tactical support, constantly zipping around the battlefield firing its laser. Of course, it's not the smartest tool; sometimes that laser beam might drift onto you. Don't worry, it's not punishing you for disloyalty to Super Earth—just a minor, inconsequential technical glitch.

  A recent patch made it so that it must return to the backpack to cool down when overheated, which makes it exceptionally effective on frozen planets. But remember, it's only effective against lightly armored units and can't penetrate any armor above medium. However, like and Laser drones, it doesn't consume ammunition, which gives it an edge over standard drones.

  10. SH-32 Shield Generator Pack

  This shield generator backpack can block a significant amount of damage, though it won't protect you from a nuclear blast. It's a solid choice for Automaton missions, as it effectively prevents you from being blown away or injured by rockets. It works fine on Terminid planets too—use it as you prefer.

  9. AX/FLAM-75 Guard Dog Hot Dog

  If the laser Guard Dog is lackluster, how much better could a flamethrower-equipped drone be? Actually, it performs reasonably well, proving effective against most enemies. It also seems to fly farther away from you compared to other drones, making accidental self-inflicted damage less likely.

  8. LIFT-182 Warp Pack

  LIFT-182 Warp Pack offers excellent mobility and has an offensive capability to boot. When you warp, the area where you land explodes. Of course, this can also blast your friends, so this backpack is better suited for solo operations.

  Galactic Situation And Update Plans

  Helldivers' offensive against Cyberstan has not achieved its intended goals; they are pushing back. This may mean that in the next two to three months, players may face more complete Cyborg units. For example, the mechanical Dogs already present in the game files, and even the massive Death Star they are building to counter our Democracy Space Station and Star of Peace.

  If no other new content is added to this storyline, this chapter may seem rather short and uneventful. Looking back at previous updates, the last major content, Into the Unjust, was released on September 4th last year, primarily introducing the Cave system. While interesting, it offered little beyond new quests. The recent update, however, brought new large factories and Cyberstan invasion.

  Sentinels

  Sentinels are slightly weaker than Harvester, but faster and more powerful. At long range, Sentinels can fire homing missiles called Death Balls. Leaked images also show it carrying a shield and possessing a beam attack similar to Observer.

  Ghoul

  Ghoul is a melee unit that attacks with claws. Early leaks depicted it as a massive monster comparable to the robot Hulk, but it now appears to have been resized to infantry size. The animation suggests it emerges from a portal on the ground, indicating it may have been summoned by Summoner.

  Adept

  Adept is a hovering infantry unit. It possesses some of the mind control abilities of the nanobots from the first-generation Illuminate.   Outcast is a hooded infantry unit equipped with a Beam Gauntlet. Its appearance is closer to Hunter from the first game than the namesake Outcast. Therefore, combined with its beam weapon and force field, it is likely a sniper unit.

  Summoner

  Summoner is a spellcaster unit tier above Adept. It wields gauntlets inlaid with crystals that can levitate to form whips or fire energy beams. It may be able to summon enemies like Ghoul.

  Council Member

  Council Member is an Illuminate wearing robes and seated in a levitating chair. He is the most powerful spellcaster-type enemy, possessing teleportation, mind control, and various AoE and ranged attack abilities.

  Guy

  Guy is a heavily armored Illuminate infantry unit. He dual-wields weapons, using a staff for ranged attacks and an axe for melee combat. He is presumably an elite infantry unit, similar in status to Automatons' Heavy Devastator or Terminids' Brood Commander. The image shows him wielding an Illuminate Axe and Spear.

  Obelisk

  Obelisk is a heavily armored robotic tank unit that existed in the first game. It can teleport and project shield walls that block its path; any unit hit by the projectile's trajectory is instantly killed. Currently, there is no model of it in Helldivers 2. Based on the model from the first game, it is a massive, round behemoth with heavy armor and a powerful weapon system.

  Helldivers 2 delivers a third-person perspective, allowing players to experience intense battles against enemies in outer space. Now, the war to protect the freedom and sovereignty of Super Earth's inhabitants has spread to the heart of Cyberstan, and Helldivers must reclaim this ruthless city occupied by Cyborgs.

  Machinery of Oppression update recently launched, placing Helldivers in a robot-infested industrial city where players will face even more brutal combat and formidable challenges.

  

  New Mission

  To increase their chances of victory, Helldivers must prevent the production of more Cyborgs while simultaneously weakening Automaton defenses. This will create opportunities for other Helldivers to destroy Cyborg mega factories and topple statues of war criminals and terrorists, gradually dismantling their regimes.

  Meanwhile, Raze Strategic Infrastructure is a crucial point of attack, but accomplishing this task will be fraught with difficulties.

  Helldivers, please be vigilant for your safety, as Cyborgs will be attacking you with new, massively destructive weapons.

  New Enemies and Combat Strategies

  In Machinery of Oppression, the developers have added three formidable opponents. While they may seem invincible, they each possess significant weaknesses.

  Agitators

  Agitators, clad in robust armor, can control enemy squads, devising combat strategies. The mechanical legions on the battlefield obey their commands.

  Small robots surrounding Agitators will disrupt your movement. You must overcome their interference. Attack them first with medium-penetration or explosive weapons until their armor breaks, then attack the red energy emitters on their chests.

  Radicals

  During combat, Radicals will attack from all sides. Having undergone cybernetic and bio-enhancements, they are ridiculed by humans, resulting in their reckless and ruthless fighting style. If you fail to escape them in time, they will force Helldivers into melee combat, hindering the effectiveness of your weapons.

  Players need to attack Radicals' weak points before they get close to take them down. Like Agitators, the red energy emitters are also a weak point for Cyborg Radicals.

  Vox Engine

  The last type is Vox Engine, a war machine piloted by a high-ranking Cyborg officer. Its appearance signifies the start of the final battle. To give Vox Engine a decisive advantage on the battlefield, it is equipped with high-damage weapons such as twin laser cannons, rockets, and laser Gatling guns.

  To defeat Vox Engine, attack its orange vents, especially between the two tracks and on its lower back. After destroying the vents, a small compartment will pop out from its back; concentrate fire on this compartment for the fastest way to take it down.

  Reinforcements Reduced, Difficulty Increased

  During the Cyberstan battle, Helldivers not only face powerful enemies but also the predicament of dwindling support. Galactic Reinforcement Counter records each team member's deaths to calculate the number of available support. If the number reaches zero, it means Helldivers have lost the war. Therefore, players must complete the mission while maximizing survival.

  Raze Strategic Infrastructure is the preferred choice

  Faced with the dual challenges of new enemies and reduced support, players must work together and develop the optimal battle plan to successfully destroy every building in Cyberstan's factory cities and eliminate all bots. Prioritizing Raze Strategic Infrastructure is the best option.

  Raze Strategic Infrastructure

  As an Automaton Optional Objective in Helldivers 2, Raze Strategic Infrastructure is only an objective on Cyberstan. Helldivers' main task is to destroy bots and infrastructure used by Cyborgs nearby.

  The developers did not clearly mark which buildings to destroy and which to avoid on the game map. This means players may destroy buildings that do not contribute to the objective's progress, significantly increasing the mission's difficulty.

  Players must complete sub-objectives while destroying specific buildings, disrupting the bots and Cyborgs. To complete the sub-objective, players must destroy at least 12 tower structures marked with red steel beams or robotic arms on the map, as well as cube-shaped pods extending from the sides.

  Some other structures also need to be destroyed, although they are not marked on the map. The light blue sub-objective map will indicate several buildings that need to be destroyed; players should be aware of these while traversing the factory and look for opportunities to destroy them.

  Note that some base-specific Helldivers 2 Automaton structures associated with certain sub-objectives do not count towards the progress of destroying strategic infrastructure, such as Gunship Facilities and Fabricators. Players can decide whether to destroy these structures based on the actual situation, but it's essential to have sufficient firepower to destroy structures that affect mission progress.

  Weapon and Stratagems Recommendations

  Due to the sturdiness of these structures, players need to carry powerful explosive weapons and Stratagems. The best choices are Orbital Barrages, especially 380mm HE and Walking Barrages, which have a huge attack range and can destroy multiple structures at once. Orbital Precision Strike is also a good weapon due to its high accuracy and short cooldown.

  Some explosive weapons can also be very effective, such as Ultimatum, C4, Leveller, Solo Silo, and Portable Helldbomb. However, these weapons require Warbonds to unlock, and some even require the best Helldivers 2 Warbonds, making them difficult to use in the game.

  

  Of course, if you're lucky enough, you'll get the help of Automatons, which will make things much easier in Raze Strategic Infrastructure.
