Diablo 4 Season 11 Top 8 Builds for Dominating The Tower | Best Strategies to Climb the Leaderboards!
Category: Diablo 4 Posted: Jan 13, 2026 Views: 1345
A month has passed since the release of Diablo 4 Season 11, and the original build leaderboard for the season should have stabilized. However, the re-inclusion of The Tower dungeon seems to have changed things.
The Tower is special because clearing it not only rewards you with loot but also allows you to climb the leaderboards and earn honor and special rewards by achieving high enough combat scores.
To help you achieve this, we've released a new build leaderboard, featuring eight builds ranked from lowest to highest difficulty, specifically for progressing through The Tower.
It's worth noting that due to the similarities in some mechanics between The Tower and The Pit, this build leaderboard also applies to The Pit - if you haven't yet found suitable builds for that dungeon.

8. Shadowblight Necromancer Build
While Necromancer itself doesn't excel in Season 11, this build allows you to stack shadow damage to trigger Shadowblight more frequently, increasing final damage. This is very useful for clearing hordes of enemies in The Tower.
Note that this build requires a precise skill rotation and high-rarity gear. If you're not a fully experienced Necromancer, choose this build with caution. Recommended gear includes:
- Heir of Perdition
- Shroud of False Death
- Grasping Veins
- Cursed Aura
- Blighted
7. Crackling Energy Sorcerer Build
Sorcerer is another class that performs only moderately on average this season, but Crackling Energy build still performs well in many playstyles.
The key to using this build is sacrificing defense and always ensuring you carry as few potions as possible in exchange for higher damage. Therefore, you need to find a balance in your gear choices.
- Heir of Perdition
- Shroud of False Death
- Ring of Starless Skies
- Charged Flash
- Bounding Conduit
While this build primarily targets single enemies, its damage output is fast enough, and it allows remaining attacks to continue damaging new targets after the current enemy dies, making it sufficient for clearing hordes of enemies in The Tower.
6. Pulverize Druid Build
Compared to Season 10, Pulverize Druid Build is slightly weaker overall due to mechanic changes, but its ease of mastery means many Druid players still stick with it.
This build revolves around the unique Rotting Lightbringer, which provides reliable AoE damage to enemies at mid-range through poison pits and splash damage, while also granting decent base defense, allowing for easy movement even in hordes of enemies in The Tower.
- Heir of Perdition
- Shroud of False Death
- Ring of Starless Skies
- Rotting Lightbringer
- Shockwave
5. Lunging Strike Barbarian Build
Like Pulverize Druid, Lunging Strike Barbarian is simple to use, but its combat effectiveness is anything but "simple" if you master the optimal skill timing and gear combination!
The key is that the skill Lunging Strike needs to be used in the main rotation, attacking enemies the instant you charge in to deal overwhelming damage. The core gear is Melted Heart of Selig.
It's worth noting that if you want this build to be even more powerful in The Tower, you can equip two Melted Hearts of Selig, and it's best to fully utilize Sanctification mechanic to enhance them. Other recommended gear options include:
- Harlequin Crest
- Shroud of False Death
- The Grandfather
- Moonrise
- Paingorger's Gauntlets
4. Heartseeker Rogue Build
This build focuses on basic attacks. While individual damage isn't high, its faster attack speed allows for overall damage comparable to other builds, making it effective against both bosses and regular enemy groups in The Tower.
However, if you want to use this build to advance as many floors or complete The Tower or The Pit as possible, it's best to equip Orphan Maker crossbow for a significant damage boost through rapid skill rotation.
- Shroud of False Death
- Ring of Starless Skies
- Crown of Lucion
- Paingorger's Gauntlets
- Cheat's
3. Payback Spiritborn Build
If you're willing to sacrifice defense and survivability for more efficient Tower progression, this build can be a powerful tool to help you climb Spiritborn leaderboards.
The key to this build lies in combining Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun. This allows each attack to consume and restore all resources for a damage bonus, as Payback consumes 100% Vigor.
More specifically, Ring of the Midnight Sun restores 47%-50% Vigor on a critical hit, while Rod of Kepeleke guarantees a critical hit when Vigor is full. The combination creates a continuous loop.
- Shroud of False Death
- Harmony of Ebewaka
- Bristling Vengeance
- Hesha e Kesungi
- Duelist's
2. Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian Build
Like Lunging Strike, this Barbarian build also requires two Melted Hearts of Selig to function optimally, but the difference lies in the more complex method of maximizing Hammer of the Ancients damage.
Using this build requires activating Furious Hammer of the Ancients, then triggering earthquakes by bombarding enemies, while simultaneously stacking Rage to enhance this upgraded skill.
Therefore, when pairing with gear, you need to ensure that the effects of each item trigger frequently or stack the above effects; otherwise, Lunging Strike is a better choice.
- Harlequin Crest
- The Grandfather
- Mantle of Mountain's Fury
- Earthquakes
- Sabre of Tsasgal
1. Blessed Shield Paladin Build
As the newest class introduced in Season 11, it's no surprise that Paladin-related builds topped this ranking. Firstly, Blessed Shield itself is a reliable skill, and its two upgrade options enhance the overall build's effectiveness.
Furthermore, you can utilize Disciple Oath and Disciple skills to unlock almost uninterrupted Arbiter forms, and after casting other skills, the damage bonus of the next three Blessed Shields will double.
- Heir of Perdition
- Shroud of False Death
- Ring of Starless Skies
- Proselytizing
- Celestial Strife
The builds listed above are just our initial recommendations based on various classes and The Power playstyle. As the competition on the leaderboard intensifies, more suitable and powerful builds may become available in the future! Stay tuned!
