To maximize loot and earn more rewards in a time-limited ARC Raiders raid, in addition to having weapons with sufficient firepower, you also need to improve your speed - both horizontally and vertically!
Traditional movement speed improvements can be achieved by equipping gear with relevant effects, but there's a secret weapon that can help you climb tall buildings or navigate special terrain more easily and quickly: Snap Hook!
Currently, there are three ways to obtain this tool in the game. Generally, crafting it yourself is the most common option, but to do this, you must find the key resource: Snap Hook blueprint.
Therefore, this guide will focus on how to get this blueprint, while also providing some other information related to Snap Hook.

How to craft Snap Hook?
First, it's important to know that Snap Hook has the highest rarity level in the game, Legendary, and will be marked with a yellow background in your inventory.
When using Snap Hook to climb upwards, its effective range is 20 meters. Other basic information includes:
- Weight: 5.0
- Stack Size: 1
If you are lucky enough to obtain extra Snap Hooks, selling them will yield 14,000 coins, but given the low drop rate of both the item itself and the blueprint, very few players currently do this.
If you plan to craft Snap Hook yourself, in addition to the blueprint, you will need to upgrade your workshop to Utility Station 3 and collect the following resources:
- 2x Power Rod
- 3x Rope
- 1x Exodus Modules
How to farm Snap Hook blueprint?
Theoretically, the blueprint may appear on all ARC Raiders maps, but according to players' actual experience and reviews, Snap Hook blueprint is currently more likely to appear on Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport maps.
If you have enough time, we recommend thoroughly searching all locations on these maps that spawn containers and searchable rooms. However, if you don't, you can prioritize searching the following popular locations:
- Dam Battlegrounds: Various residential areas, such as Ruby & Pale apartments.
- Spaceport: Control Tower and Arrival/Departure buildings.
In addition, some players have reported that Pilgrim's Peak and the village or refugee sites in Blue Gate map may also drop the blueprint.
Regardless of which map you ultimately choose for blueprint farming, we recommend entering when Electromagnetic Storm or Night Raids map conditions are active, as they offer higher blueprint drop rates through more challenging combat.
What is Electromagnetic Storm?
During this modifier, lightning will strike indiscriminately across the map, damaging all players and ARC enemies, dealing significant damage to your health and shields. Additionally, all Raider Hatches are disabled, and the number of extraction points is reduced.
Meanwhile, the frequency, aggressiveness, and damage resistance of all ARC robots will increase, but you can also use the thunder and rain to mask your movements, allowing you to more stealthily bypass or approach enemies.
When engaging in PvE combat during this event, you can lure enemies into areas where lightning is about to strike (judging by the electrical sound effects), using the "natural damage" to weaken them.
When engaging in PvP combat, you need to stay as close to buildings as possible to take shelter indoors when lightning strikes.
Besides various blueprints, other rare loot will also appear more frequently during Electromagnetic Storm. Therefore, it is recommended that you equip a Looting Module beforehand to carry more resources when extracting.
What are Night Raids?
The extraction methods and difficulty changes of ARC enemies in this event are basically the same as in Electromagnetic Storm. The most prominent feature is that enemies are more likely to spot you at night, while your own visibility is greatly reduced.
Therefore, the key to successfully completing Night Raids is to stay indoors as much as possible. If you must go outside, you need to master the best timing for using flashlights or flashbangs.
Night Raids not only provide higher blueprint drop rates through the relevant maps, but some specific blueprints, such as Tempest, only appear during this event. Additionally, you may receive more coins if you sell other Night Raids resources you obtain.
How to obtain other crafting materials?
Other materials required for crafting Snap Hooks will appear randomly during scavenging or can be obtained through trading at specific vendors.
If you have enough lower-level materials, you can also craft them in the workshop. For example, the crafting materials for Power Rod include:
- 2x Advanced Electrical Components
- 2x ARC Circuitry
- At Refiner 3
Other ways to obtain Snap Hook
Besides crafting and looting, you can also obtain Snap Hook as a reward by completing Lost In Transmission quest. This quest is given by Shani and requires you to travel to Spaceport map and complete the following objectives within one round:
- Visit Control Tower A6
- Reach the top of Control Tower A6
- Establish a connection from the terminal
That's all the information for now. For your future gaming experience, if you don't have Snap Hook yet, it's best to get its blueprint and complete the crafting as soon as possible! Good luck!
Even farming during Night Raids, which have higher loot quantity and rarity, doesn't guarantee a 100% blueprint drop rate. Therefore, if you want to enjoy the convenience of Snap Hook immediately, it's better to buy ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint at IGGM!
