Broken Combos? These Weapon & Augment Sets Will Make You Unstoppable in ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Update!

With the release date of ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update drawing ever closer, a trend has emerged in the community of quickly selecting powerful skill tree setups and character builds to cope with the harsh Hurricane Map Condition and the yet-to-be-announced Arc enemies.
However, it's important to note that combos of weapons and augments are also crucial factors in determining your success in evacuation. But testing the suitability of each option requires a large number of trials and a significant investment of time, and may even be fatal.
So, to help all players complete more extractions and loot more safely after the new update goes live, this guide lists several top-performing combinations tested by numerous professional players, which can let you transform into fearsome enemies on Topside, even you are the weakest.
El Toro + Venator + Tactical Mk. 3 (Defensive) Augment
The first set is a combination that is very suitable for players who love to attack rather than defend: El Toro only needs a few bullets to take down other raiders wearing Heavy Shielded armor, plus Venator's extremely high damage at close to medium range, making it a dominant force in raids.
Normally, you can use El Toro as your primary weapon to accurately suppress enemies; while it's reloading, you can use Venator as your secondary weapon for rapid bursts to ensure your safety. Then, with the addition of the Medium Shield and Integrated Shield Recharger in your augmented slot from Tactical Mk 3 Defensive Augment, your combat endurance is extremely high.
The best part is that this Augment allows you to jog while your shield is charging instead of stopping immediately. This slight mobility advantage allows you to find cover and start charging faster amidst the ravages of Hurricane, avoiding too much conflict and ensuring your survivability.
However, this combination has a very obvious drawback: neither weapon has ranged damage, so it is not very suitable for long-range combat on maps with wide open areas. Currently, its effectiveness can probably only be maximized when used during intense battles in Stella Montis.
Venator + Vulcano + Looting Mk. 3 (Cautious) Augment
In this next combination, Venator is used as the primary weapon, paired with a Vulcano as your backup. This makes you unmatched in close-to-mid-range precision shooting, allowing you to directly become PvP players who called Rat Hunter, which allows you use camping extraction points or harass other PvE players to earn more ARC Raiders Items.
However, simply shooting isn't enough; you also need to carry Adrenaline Shots to ensure you can recover your health in time during Hurricane-damaged shields or PvP combat. But you can't always guarantee you'll have free time to take them out of your inventory and inject them, which is where Mk. 3 Cautious Augment comes in handy.
When your shield breaks, this Augment will automatically inject you with an Adrenaline Shot, which not only saves you time, but also gives you the opportunity to roll, dash, slide, and heroically jump endlessly for nearly 10 seconds to find suitable cover and save yourself; it is very useful in PvP at close to mid range, instead of PvE at long range.
Renegade + Venator + Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment
While you'll often be dealing with close to mid-range combat in regular raids, you'll inevitably need to engage in some long-range shooting in unavoidable PvE battles or on more expansive maps. In those situations, a weapon combination like Renegade + Venator, which is effective at both close and long range, is a good choice.
However, this combination has a significant drawback: it takes a relatively long time to draw Venator again after using Renegade. Therefore, we introduced Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment to compensate for this shortcoming. It can increase the draw speed of sheathed or unequipped pistols and hand cannons by 33%, allowing you to continuously switch weapons to achieve a situation where you can switch between melee and ranged combat.
Burletta + Venator + Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) Augment
In the eyes of most ARC Raiders players, carrying two pistols in a raid is unlikely. Although they offer better mobility, their damage output is not high. However, this Burletta + Venator weapon combination may overturn their perception: it has extreme firepower, extremely low accuracy requirements, and firing sounds that cannot be detected by other players.
If you equip one of your pistols with a Tier 3 Silencer, you can become a silent assassin, lurking in various PvP-heavy looting spots. Combined with the Flanking Augment's incredibly fast weapon reload speed, you'll become a dominant force on various maps and have the potential to become a ruthless and deadly cowboy in Hurricane Map Condition. That sounds cool, doesn't it?
El Toro + Tempest + Combat Mk. 3 (Aggressive) Augment
The final weapon and Augment combination is more suitable for raiders who are good at guerrilla warfare. It allows you to attack enemies unexpectedly and extend your survival time, and speed up healing with the passive healing effect of Aggressive Augment. If you want to maximize its effectiveness, you can equip it with some Shaprnel Grenades and Showstoppers, whose power should not be underestimated.
Given that you'll be using guerrilla tactics when using this suit, a Medium Shield is the best option. It won't be too heavy to slow you down, nor too weak to protect you. Meanwhile, remember to invest the most points in the Conditioning skill tree and spend as many resources as possible on it to achieve a delicate balance between your stamina, survivability, and damage output.
The above are some weapon + augmentation combinations recommended for use after Shrouded Sky update, based on the current game content in ARC Raiders. While the developers may make some balance adjustments on February 24, the overall effectiveness won't be too different, so you can definitely start now and prepare in advance.
