ARC Raiders Mushroom Locations Guide: How to Farm Them on All Maps?

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Jan 08, 2026 Views: 52730

Mushrooms, the fungi that have overrun old buildings in the post-apocalyptic era, are now one of the hardest-to-find food items in ARC Raiders. However, whether you're upgrading your Scrappy companion or completing Flickering Flames event, mushrooms are a necessary material, so you'll likely be constantly scouring the damp, swampy areas of various maps in a desperate search for this mushroom that's rarer than legendary blueprints.

The most frustrating part is when you finally find a mushroom spawn point, only to discover it's already been harvested, leaving you empty-handed.

Now, this aimless, random gathering is finally over, because we're going to show you the high-probability mushroom spawn locations on all ARC Raiders maps. Once you know where to look for mushrooms, collecting them won't be too difficult; a few repeated farming runs should get you all the mushrooms you need. So, Raiders, get ready and let's begin!

ARC Raiders Mushroom Locations Guide: How to Farm Them on All Maps?

Dam Battlegrounds

First, let's look at the main map for collecting ARC Raiders mushrooms: Dam Battlegrounds. If you really want to quickly gather all the mushrooms needed to upgrade Scrappy, this map is your best bet. While other maps might only have a few scattered spawn points, Dam Battlegrounds has approximately 30 different spawn points. That's insane! We'll now plan a reliable farming route around them.

Hydroponic Dome Complex

The first and most important location is Hydroponic Dome Complex. You can find this landmark directly north of Water Treatment Control building. This is usually a hotspot for loot, but for us, it's a mushroom-gathering paradise.

However, this place is a bit special because the mushrooms here have two main spawn patterns. They can appear inside the facility or outside, and they often alternate. So, if you check inside and find nothing, don't give up, because your mushrooms are likely waiting for you right outside the door.

Now, let's look at the inside. Once you enter this large open-air facility, you'll see several rectangular pools of murky water. These are your targets.

Look closely; the mushrooms grow along the edges of the pools, often clustered together with Great Mullein. Additionally, outside these pools, you have a chance to find a weapon crate. However, they usually appear alternately.

This means that if the weapon crate is there, the mushrooms are likely not, but if the mushrooms are there, then you don't need to bother looking for the weapon crate anymore.

So, what if the room is empty? That means you need to check outside. There are two key locations outside the building:

First, walk south along the main building to the water's edge and look for a fairly large fallen tree. Mushrooms always like to grow on tree trunks and roots.

The second location is on the west side of Dome Complex. There's another tree trunk here, which usually has an extra cluster of mushrooms growing on it.

Honestly, by checking the indoor pools and these two outdoor trees, you have a great chance of finding a lot of mushrooms in just a few minutes. So, this is undoubtedly one of the most reliable farming locations in ARC Raiders.

Hydroponic Dome Complex is great, but it's also a popular spot. What if it's already been looted? Don't worry, because Dam Battlegrounds can still meet your needs.

Wreckage

Our next stop is Wreckage area. This place is southwest of Testing Annex, and if you don't want to use coordinates, you can first find a huge broken robot surrounded by scattered Twisted Metal.

This area is much less crowded than Dome Complex and is an excellent alternative location. The mushrooms here usually grow on fallen logs and branches scattered around the broken robot. Check behind the larger wreckage and carefully examine the ground for fallen trees; you might find a surprise.

Western Swamp Area

The third main area for collecting mushrooms on Dam Battlegrounds map is a large swampy area on the west side of the map. It's directly below Hydroponic Domes.

Incidentally, this area includes South Swamp Outpost and Old Battleground. So, this area is less of a specific location and more of a vast hunting ground.

Mushrooms are known to grow on tree trunks and logs in swamps. However, the only drawback is that visibility can be poor, especially at night or when it's raining. So, my advice is to move slowly, use a flashlight, and constantly scan the base of the trees. Although mushroom gathering here isn't as fast as in Dome Complex area, systematically searching this swampy area will definitely yield results.

Water Treatment Control

There's another potential spawn point here, Water Treatment Control building itself. While not a primary mushroom gathering spot, it's worth checking out if you're passing by.

Mushrooms usually spawn on the pipes on the top floor of the building. Basically, you'll pass by this area when you go from Water Treatment Control through the corridor to the main tower. While the spawn point isn't very consistent, and you'll likely only find two or three mushrooms, it doesn't take much time to check.

Spaceport

For Spaceport, I have to say they're far less abundant than the mushroom spawn points in Dam Battlegrounds, but there are a few notable locations.

Because most of Spaceport is an industrial area, there's one or two places known for their abundance of mushrooms, located in a grove between Little Hangar and East Container Yard. However, this isn't marked as a designated natural area.

This is a very common spawn point, and usually two or three mushrooms will spawn on a single tree, which is rare in other locations. So, if you need mushrooms in Spaceport, this is the only place worth checking.

The Blue Gate

Next is The Blue Gate, where mushrooms also spawn, but their locations are more unpredictable and inconsistent.

You might find them on trees, in Raider Hideout, or scattered randomly. There aren't any clearly documented must-visit spots like in Dam Battlegrounds, so I recommend only looking for mushrooms here if you're already at Blue Gate for a specific task or reason.

Besides, the mushroom drop rate here might disappoint you. If you come here specifically to find mushrooms, you'll likely leave disappointed.

Stella Montis

For Stella Montis, since it's primarily an indoor industrial/complex map, there are limited open natural areas. Therefore, mushrooms aren't as common there as on maps like Dam Battlegrounds or Spaceport. Currently, some players have found mushrooms in baskets and hidden spots in Stella Montis, but it's not very reliable.

Buried City

Finally, and least important, is Buried City. Currently, there's no evidence of any reliable mushroom spawn points here. Of course, you might get lucky and randomly find one or two, or perhaps find a wicker basket full of mushrooms in a residential area, but I would still say this is a dead zone for mushroom foraging. So don't waste your time searching for mushrooms in these ruins.

These are all the reliable locations for finding mushrooms in ARC Raiders. Stop wandering aimlessly and focus your efforts on Dam Battlegrounds, with the Spaceport as a backup location, and don't miss any potential mushroom spawn points. Also, be sure to put your mushrooms in your Safe Pocket so other players don't steal your hard-earned resources!
