ARC Raiders Anvil Crafting & Upgrade Guide: How To Farm Blueprints And Materials?

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Dec 29, 2025 Views: 10506

ARC Raiders, a shooting extraction game, is known for its diverse weapons and equipment. Obtaining blueprints for rare gear is a major concern for many players.

Anvil, a single-action hand cannon, is considered one of the strongest weapons in the game due to its excellent performance at various firing distances and its immense power. Many raiders rely on it as their sole weapon during raids.

ARC Raiders Anvil Crafting & Upgrade Guide: How To Farm Blueprints And Materials?

However, Anvil's superior performance also makes it extremely difficult to obtain. Don't worry, though! I'll guide you on how to find Anvil blueprints, how to craft them, and how to acquire the crafting materials.

Where Can You Find Anvil Blueprints?

Because blueprint spawns are relatively random, there's currently no guaranteed place to obtain Anvil blueprints. However, some raider containers may contain Anvil blueprints.

Dam Battlegrounds

First, you can search under the elevated highway in Dam Battlegrounds. This is currently considered by most players to be the most reliable location for blueprint spawns, specifically between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge.

You can find Raider Backpacks or weapon crates nearby, which have a high chance of spawning weapons or blueprints, and the level is quite high. With good luck, it's not impossible to get two blueprints.

Buried City (Marano Station)

On Buried City map, Marano Station is another important location where players have reported finding Anvil blueprints. It's a quiet location on the edge of the map, where you can find several loot containers, which always spawn some rare treasures.

However, the only thing to note is that these loot containers are usually hidden behind a door that must be broken open, which will cause quite a commotion and may attract other raiders. Therefore, you need to prepare enough equipment and weapons in advance to avoid losing your hard-earned loot.

If you're worried, when searching for rare blueprints, you can carry a Safe Pocket to store any high-level items you find. This way, even if you unfortunately die during extraction, your loot won't be lost.

Besides the two locations mentioned above that are likely to spawn ARC Raiders Anvil Blueprints, you should also pay attention to these containers during your regular raids:

  • Red Lockers
  • Raider Cache
  • Weapon Case
  • Ammo Case
  • Grenade Case

These all have a chance to drop blueprints, so don't miss them if you encounter them in the game; be sure to loot them all.

In addition, you can combine raid loot hunting with Night Raids or Electromagnetic Storms. Once these two mods are activated on the map, your chance of obtaining blueprints will increase to some extent.

Anvil Crafting Recipe

If you're lucky enough to find an Anvil blueprint, the next step is to find the crafting materials using the recipe. The materials required to craft an Anvil include:

  • 5 Mechanical Components;
  • 6 Simple Gun Parts.

After finding these materials, you'll need to complete Gunsmith 1 to successfully obtain Anvil, which can be continuously upgraded to become even more powerful.

How To Collect Crafting Materials?

Mechanical Components

Mechanical Components are rare items in the game and not easy to find. Here are the locations you can find them in ARC Raiders:

  • Dam Battlegrounds: Water Treatment Control, Scrap Yard;
  • Buried City: Parking Garage;
  • Spaceport: Shipping Warehouse, Container Storage;
  • The Blue Gate: Adorned Wreckage, Checkpoint.

Alternatively, you can craft a Mechanical Component using 7 Metal Parts and 3 Rubber Parts in Refiner. Both of these resources are relatively common in the game and easy to obtain.

You can also train a Scrappy to help you collect more metal parts, but remember to upgrade Scrappy! All you need is a Dog Collar, some lemons, and apricots.

Simple Gun Parts

Simple Gun Parts are a core crafting material for many weapon blueprints. You can try obtaining them through these methods:

  • Defeating ARCs as drops: such as Wasps or Hornets;
  • Looting loot containers on different maps: such as Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Spaceport;
  • Exchange them with seeds at Celeste.

These are common methods for obtaining Simple Gun Parts in the game. If you still don't have enough materials using these methods, you can also try recycling items as a secondary method. Ordinary weapons and equipment can be dismantled into Simple Gun Parts, which is an alternative if you have extra weapons.

Upgrade Path

Once you successfully find the materials to craft Anvil I, its inherent power is already quite strong. However, in my opinion, the upgrade path is the real secret to unlocking the gun's full potential.

You can upgrade Anvil I using the following upgrade path. The main benefit of the upgrade is not damage, but a higher rate of fire, making you unstoppable in the game.

  • Anvil II: 3 Mech Components + 1 Simple Gun Part;
  • Anvil III: 4 Mech Components + 1 Heavy Gun Part;
  • Anvil IV: 4 Mech Components + 1 Heavy Gun Part.

Note that upgrading requires a level 2 Gunsmith. Once you successfully obtain Anvil IV, your rate of fire will increase by 75%, which is three times the rate of fire of a normal gun!

Based on the information provided above, you now know how to farm Anvil Blueprints and obtain crafting information in the game. Next, you should conduct targeted and efficient raids in ARC Raiders, with enough patience and a little bit of luck. Good luck!
