Why You Need to Farm Vulcano Blueprint in ARC Raiders Now? | Value Review and Acquisition Methods
Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Jan 27, 2026 Views: 1381
While ARC Raiders recently revealed its update schedule for the next four months, it doesn't seem to indicate any new weapons will be added. This means you'll likely need to continue using the existing gear system to handle new maps and enemies.
Therefore, if you haven't found your ideal weapon yet, you'll need to quickly acquire more gear or blueprints and then test their reliability in actual gameplay.
To save you some trouble, this article will review Vulcano, a shotgun in the game, and provide information on how to obtain it - this will be helpful if you think it's suitable for you.

What is Vulcano?
This weapon is a semi-automatic shotgun in ARC Raiders, with an Epic rarity, making it relatively high and therefore more difficult to obtain. In combat, this gun uses shotgun ammo, with penetration power between light and medium ammunition.
Other basic stats for Vulcano are as follows:
- Magazine Size: 6
- Firing Mode: Semi-automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Weak
- Damage: 49.5
- Fire Rate: 26.3
- Range: 26
- Stability: 68.6
- Agility: 70.3
- Stealth: 15
- Weight: 8.0
How to obtain Vulcano?
There are two ways to obtain this weapon: random drops during adventures and crafting it in the workshop using its exclusive blueprint and other materials.
The first method is rarely chosen because there is currently no player data indicating which maps or locations Vulcano drops most frequently, and the drop rate is very low. This makes farming blueprints the key to unlocking Vulcano.
In addition to the blueprint, you'll need to collect the following materials and upgrade your workshop to Gunsmith 3 to start crafting Vulcano:
- 1x Magnetic Accelerator
- 3x Heavy Gun Parts
- 1x Exodus Module
How to obtain Vulcano blueprint?
While theoretically the item can spawn in any location or container, based on player feedback, Vulcano blueprint appears more frequently during Hidden Bunker event on Spaceport map.
By default, the blueprint may appear throughout Spaceport map during this event, but searching deep inside the bunker seems more reliable.
If you plan to search outside, focus on high-value containers such as Raider Caches, Security Lockers, and more; these will appear in Arrival buildings or Trench Towers. Sometimes, defeating ARC enemies like Surveyors may also drop it.
If you plan to delve into Hidden Bunker, we recommend teaming up with teammates. First, split up and activate the four antennas on the map to unlock the bunker entrance, then enter and complete the data download mission.
Regardless of how you ultimately obtain the blueprint, you must immediately put it in a safe pocket after acquiring it to avoid loss due to assassination by other players.
Furthermore, note that Hidden Bunker only increases the blueprint's spawn rate, it doesn't guarantee a drop. Therefore, it's faster and more reliable to buy ARC Raiders Vulcano blueprint at IGGM!
Is Vulcano worth having?
As one of only two shotguns in the game, Vulcano's damage output perfectly matches its rarity - after all, as you know, ARC Raiders has many gears that are difficult to obtain but have very mediocre combat performance.
Vulcano's combat advantage lies primarily in close-quarters combat. In addition, its extremely high rate of fire and reload speed make it effective against enemies in both PvP and PvE environments.
Even if you unexpectedly encounter a large-scale ARC in a PvE battle, as long as you equip your Vulcano with suitable attachments beforehand, such as an extended mag and choke, and carry grenades, you still have a chance to achieve a decisive victory.
So if you haven't decided on the perfect weapon for you yet, why not get Vulcano now? And IGGM is currently hosting blueprint giveaways! Participate in the event as shown in the image below for a chance to win 20 Vulcano blueprints for free!
Should you upgrade your Vulcano?
Given its rarity and strength, the base Vulcano is already quite powerful, so much so that you might hesitate to upgrade this shotgun when faced with a large amount of upgrade materials.
First, let's look at the materials required for the upgrade:
Vulcano II:
- 1x Vulcano I
- 1x Advanced Mechanical Components
- 1x Heavy Gun Parts
- At Gunsmith 1
Vulcano III:
- 1x Vulcano II
- 2x Advanced Mechanical Components
- 1x Heavy Gun Parts
- At Gunsmith 1
Vulcano IV:
- 1x Vulcano III
- 2x Advanced Mechanical Components
- 1x Heavy Gun Parts
- At Gunsmith 1
Based on this, the bonuses gained after each upgrade are:
Vulcano II:
- 10% Increased Fire Rate
- 13% Reduced Reload Time
- +10 Durability
Vulcano III:
- 20% Increased Fire Rate
- 26% Reduced Reload Time
- +20 Durability
Vulcano IV:
- 30% Increased Fire Rate
- 40% Reduced Reload Time
- +30 Durability
From a practical standpoint, Vulcano IV is indeed more powerful than Tier I, but the boost isn't as impressive as some might expect. In fact, you might feel like you're wasting some of the materials you consume, a common issue with ARC Raiders' gear system.
Therefore, if you're planning to unlock this weapon, or already own it but haven't upgraded it yet, we suggest you hold off on upgrading. If you feel it lacks something, you can compensate by using better attachments.
However, if you're a top player who has stockpiled a lot of crafting materials and doesn't care about this consumption, then you can upgrade your gun as you please!
Which is better: Vulcano or Il Toro?
Since they are the only two shotguns, they are often compared. Generally, at the same tier, Il Toro has higher single-shot damage, longer range, and is easier to obtain.
Vulcano, on the other hand, is more aggressive, with a faster rate of fire and reload speed, resulting in higher DPS, making it suitable for close-range suppression of single targets.
Therefore, the best approach is to acquire both and then decide which to use based on the actual combat situation. There's no need to rank weapons based on their suitability for different scenarios.
That concludes our introduction. If you enjoy Vulcano, please follow our guide to obtain its blueprint as soon as possible! Have fun!
