ARC Raiders Best Sentinel Firing Core Farming Routes after Wipe | No Bullets Wasted!

After ARC Raiders Expedition progress reset, has your character returned to its previous state? How is your Workshop upgrade progress?
Here, we'll discuss one of the essential materials needed to upgrade your Gunsmith Station to level 3: Sentinel Firing Core. This is a rare material that can be obtained by destroying powerful ARC Sentinels at specific map locations and looting their remains, but the drop rate can be inconsistent.
Before heading to the ground and starting to fight Sentinels, we also want to mention that Sentinel Firing Cores can also be found in crashed ARC Couriers. This is a safer but slightly slower method of obtaining cores, but if you want a method with an almost 100% chance of getting cores, then you still need to destroy Sniper Turrets.

Best Farming Locations
To get more cores by destroying Sentinels, one of the best locations is near the broken dam on Dam Battlegrounds map.
Sniper Turrets usually spawn randomly on both sides of the broken dam. When you approach this location, you can scout two possible spawn locations, increasing your chances of finding Sentinel Turrets before others destroy them. More importantly, destroying this turret is easy; you can do it with just Raider Tool, without even firing a single bullet.
Another location is in the corner of Research and Administration building on Dam Battlegrounds map. To be honest, this isn't the most ideal location, but if you don't find any Sentinels on either side of the broken dam, it's worth checking out.
If you prefer farming during night raids and enjoy the thrill of getting double cores, we also recommend checking out The Blue Gate. The aiming lasers of the Sentinels that spawn above Blue Gate Checkpoint are easily visible at night.
Other locations worth checking include Buried City Town or under the bridge in Buried City.
However, Spaceport is not ideal for finding Sniper Turrets, as some turrets spawn near the edges of the map, and you might have to run across the entire map to find one, with a very low chance of success.
How to destroy Sniper Turrets?
Next, we'll share some effective ways to deal with these Sentinel Turrets.
Melee Attacks
While you can easily destroy Sentinels with heavy weapons, a safer method is to go in completely unarmed, use a melee attack, and then precisely throw a Snap Blast Grenade at the back of the turret.
If the grenade doesn't immediately destroy the turret, one or two more shots will finish it off. This is probably the fastest way to deal with Sentinels if you don't want to attract any attention, as shooting with a gun takes more time.
Alternatively, you can rush in and use your Raider Tool for a direct melee attack. This feels cool and makes it easy to avoid getting hit. Simply approach the turret from behind and start swinging your weapon. As the turret turns towards you, move with its rotation so you can get in a few more swings before it catches up to you.
However, be aware that your stamina will start to drain once the aiming laser gets close to you. So, quickly seize the opportunity to get behind it and climb onto the turret, then one or two more attacks will completely destroy it. This method is quieter than shooting or using grenades.
Another advantage is that you're right next to the destroyed Sentinel Turret, meaning you can immediately pick up Sentinel Firing Core, put it in your Safe Pockets, and escape, reducing the risk of losing loot due to potential ambushes.
In fact, we even like going there completely unarmed, because if we don't find a turret in these areas, we can surrender immediately without losing any equipment. If we find and destroy a Sentinel, we can also surrender immediately after putting the core in our Safe Pocket, instantly transferring this valuable material to Speranza and avoiding a wasted trip!
Ranged Attacks
If you don't want to risk melee attacks and prefer to shoot from behind cover, you can use powerful weapons like Ferro or Anvil to one-shot enemies. Sentinel Turrets usually take a few seconds to be destroyed, but they will eventually explode. So, remember to find a safe place, because it would be very frustrating to lose all your ARC Raiders Sentinel Firing Cores after going through all that trouble to find the turret, only to die from explosion damage or an enemy ambush.
If you're playing with friends, you can spread out a bit and take turns drawing Sentinel's aggro. Once the turret is drawing fire from one of you, the other can take the opportunity to attack and easily destroy it.

How to loot ARC Courier?
Additionally, here are some more advanced tips. If you're trying to find Sentinel Firing Cores in crashed ARC Couriers, first check the map to find where they usually congregate.
As you head towards these gathering points, look for black smoke rising from the ground, which usually indicates a crashed probe or Courier. When you get closer, open your in-game map, and if you are within approximately 50 meters of ARC Courier, the courier icon will appear.
In fact, if the courier has already been looted by other players, you won't see the black smoke, but it will still appear on your in-game map when you get close. This is useful if you are doing ARC Probes trial, as you can search probes that other raiders have already opened. So, don't forget to frequently open your in-game map to look for these crashed couriers.
These are some tips for quickly collecting Sentinel Firing Cores. We hope this helps you gather all the materials as quickly as possible and complete the last upgrade of Gunsmith Station!
