Aion 2 Combat Power Guide: Exact Upgrade Priority Order to Hit 140K

When participating in content like Expeditions in Aion 2, you'll likely notice that many groups require you to meet a specific stat threshold - this is what we call Combat Power.
Unlike Gear Score, Combat Power is highly valued because it serves as a direct indicator of your offensive capability in the game.
To steadily increase your Combat Power, you should focus on the systems that offer the greatest gains, prioritizing them in the right order.
Skill Levels
Skills are the primary driver of your Combat Power. In the early game, it is recommended to level all your skills to at least level 10; doing so unlocks an achievement title that grants a permanent boost of approximately 1,500 Combat Power.
After that, concentrate your resources on your core build skills, aiming to bring them to around level 15 or 16 to unlock additional Specialty slots and skill slots.
Taking a single skill from level 0 to 16 - including the impact of Stigmas - can yield roughly 7,000 Combat Power.
Therefore, don't view skills as optional; they should be your top priority when looking to boost your Combat Power.

Gear Stats
Simply filling up your gear with random stats won't necessarily result in a significant increase in Combat Power.
Defensive stats - such as Natural HP Regeneration or raw HP - provide relatively little Combat Power. Instead, you should prioritize offensive stats like Critical Hit, Attack, Weapon Damage Boost, and Multi-hit Chance.
With the right stats on your gear, you can gain anywhere from 4,000 to 6,000 Combat Power.
Manastones are also crucial; depending on their rarity, they can contribute up to about 4,000 Combat Power. Keep an eye out for green and blue-tier Manastones, again prioritizing those that boost offensive stats.
Start by optimizing the stats on your weapon, then move on to pieces like shields and gloves, which can provide bonuses to Combat Speed.
Pantheon
Many players in Aion 2 overlook Pantheon system. Think of it as an achievement gallery - you can obtain Artwork by defeating world bosses or completing dungeons.
Each Artwork typically provides between 150 and 300 Combat Power. Sets - such as Colossus: Zikel's Apparition and Statue: Dream Fragment - can grant a combined total of approximately 3,500 to 5,000 Combat Power.
You may also occasionally find missing Artworks on the marketplace; for instance, Artwork: Fire Temple might be listed for 1,100 Aion 2 Kinah.
Alternatively, if you are actively running Fire Temple (Conquest) of Expedition, you can farm these Artworks yourself.

Daevanion Boards
Zikel
Each node on Zikel board generally provides an increase of 100 to 200 Combat Power.
If that isn't enough, consider prioritizing the corner nodes - such as Critical Damage Tolerance - which offer a much larger boost, reaching around 2,500 Combat Power each.
Activating all four corner nodes will net you a total of approximately 1,000 Combat Power.
Overall, Zikel board is a reliable source for increasing your Combat Power in Aion 2, so it is wise to plan which nodes you intend to activate as early as possible.
Azphel
For Azphel board, you should also prioritize the corner nodes, which can provide an additional ~2,500 Combat Power.
The most consistent way to accumulate Daevanion points is by progressing through character leveling, Regional Quests, Sealed Dungeons, and Strongholds. You can also supplement your total by exchanging for limited quantities at Shugo Festival Shop or Nightmare Shop.
Gathering enough Daevanion points will allow you to unlock nodes more easily, resulting in a significant boost to your Combat Power.
Arcana
Arcana cards are the key for many players looking to push their Combat Power from 130k to 140k in Aion 2.
Once your Gear Score reaches 2,500, you unlock access to Transcendence Tier 4 - which includes content like Shattered Arkanis and Deus Research Base - providing a steady supply of gold cards.
It is precisely these gold cards that provide you with a significant amount of Combat Power - around 2,000 at level 2, with even more as you upgrade them to level 5.
Once your skills reach level 14, some of your skills will begin to come from these cards - a single gold card can even grant seven or eight different skills.
In the early stages of Transcendence system, you will primarily obtain blue and green cards; gold cards become accessible later on, so this process requires a sustained investment of time and effort.

Other Sources
Beyond the primary methods mentioned above, you can also boost your Combat Power in Aion 2 through titles, cosmetics, Closet, and wings.
Each pair of wings provides roughly 1,200 to 2,000 Combat Power, with rare wings offering even higher values.
Acquiring cosmetic items largely depends on luck - you cannot actively farm for them - but if you happen to obtain one, be sure to equip it immediately.
Combined, these various smaller sources can contribute nearly 40,000 to your total Combat Power - a significant amount.
Remember, in Aion 2, increasing your Combat Power is a long-term endeavor; do not expect to complete everything all at once.
Focus first on the high-yield sources, then fill in the gaps whenever you have a spare moment - your Combat Power will see a steady, consistent increase.
Good luck, and may you surpass 140k Combat Power soon!

Aion 2 2026 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK: New Costumes, Spooky Pets, Spider Wings & Weapon Skins
Halloween is coming to Atreia, and Aion 2 is getting ready to celebrate with a collection of dark fantasy cosmetics, spooky companions, and eye-catching weapon designs. The official 2026 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK introduces three distinctive costume collections alongside Halloween-themed weapons, pumpkin decorations, ghostly pets, and spider-inspired wings.
Recently, players may have noticed pumpkins, festive decorations, and a different atmosphere appearing throughout the main city. These changes offer a preview of the seasonal celebration and give Daevas a reason to start planning their Halloween appearances. Whether you prefer the elegance of a vampire-inspired ruler, the mysterious charm of a midnight witch, or the unsettling appearance of a night slasher, this year's Aion 2 Halloween cosmetics offer several ways to stand out.
The collection became available following the October 14, 2026, regional maintenance schedule, with sales continuing until the maintenance period on November 24–25, depending on the region. Here is what players should know about Aion 2 2026 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK, including its featured costumes, weapon skins, pets, wings, and customization options.

Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK: What's Included?
The 2026 Halloween collection focuses on character customization rather than changing the traditional MMORPG experience. Its main attractions include three themed costume sets, Halloween Night weapon skins, two seasonal pets, Spider Wings, and additional head and face decorations.
Instead of limiting Halloween appearances to traditional pumpkins and ghosts, the collection explores several different visual styles. Players can create an elegant gothic character, embrace a mysterious magical appearance, or go for a more unsettling horror-inspired look.
The three featured costume collections are:
- Monarch of Blood: A dark, regal appearance inspired by blood-themed gothic fashion.
- Midnight Witch: A mysterious Halloween look built around witch-inspired styling.
- Midnight Slasher: A horror-themed outfit designed for players who prefer a more intimidating appearance.
LOOKBOOK also highlights the Halloween Night weapon designs and seasonal accessories, allowing players to coordinate their characters beyond armor appearances.
1. Monarch of Blood: Embrace a Dark Gothic Appearance
If you prefer an elegant but intimidating Halloween style, Monarch of Blood is one of the main costume collections to explore.
Its blood-themed gothic aesthetic suits players who want their characters to look powerful, mysterious, and slightly supernatural. Rather than relying entirely on exaggerated horror details, the design combines a darker visual identity with the commanding appearance of a fantasy ruler.
This makes Monarch of Blood a strong option for Daevas who want a Halloween outfit that feels appropriate for both seasonal screenshots and everyday adventures across Atreia.
The collection includes six pieces: a breastplate, greaves, helm, gloves, boots, and cloak. Having several separate components also gives players more flexibility when planning their character's overall appearance.
2. Midnight Witch: A Mysterious Halloween Look
Midnight Witch takes a different approach, focusing on the mysterious atmosphere associated with witches and supernatural magic.
Its distinctive witch-inspired styling makes it a natural choice for players who want a recognizable Halloween appearance without relying on traditional monster designs. The collection offers different visual presentations for male and female characters, giving players additional ways to explore the theme.
For magic-focused characters, the outfit can also complement a spellcaster-inspired identity. Sorcerers and Spiritmasters may find the overall aesthetic particularly appealing, although your preferred appearance ultimately depends on personal taste rather than combat role.
Midnight Witch is worth considering if you want a costume that feels seasonal but can still work as part of a broader fantasy wardrobe.
Styling tip: Try coordinating your character's hairstyle, face decorations, and weapon appearance with the witch-inspired theme. A carefully matched combination can make the entire character look more distinctive than an outfit worn without complementary cosmetics.
3. Midnight Slasher: Bring a Horror-Movie Atmosphere to Atreia
For players who prefer frightening appearances over elegant gothic fashion, Midnight Slasher is the collection to examine.
The design follows a more aggressive horror aesthetic, creating a striking contrast with the refined appearance of Monarch of Blood and the supernatural styling of Midnight Witch. Its unsettling mask and slasher-inspired details make it suitable for players who want their characters to look like they stepped out of a Halloween horror story.
The official Halloween preview also playfully references friends dressed as Night Butchers, emphasizing the deliberately frightening theme of the collection.
Midnight Slasher is particularly appealing to players who enjoy unusual character appearances, dramatic screenshots, and seasonal role-playing. It offers a way to make your Daeva stand out in crowded cities and social gatherings without following the more traditional fantasy-fashion route.
When choosing between the three costume sets, consider which character identity you want to create: a dark ruler, a mysterious witch, or a horror-inspired slasher.

4. Halloween Night Weapon Skins: Add Seasonal Effects to Your Arsenal
Costumes are only part of Aion 2 2026 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK. Halloween Night weapon skins are another important attraction, especially for players who want their weapons to match their character's appearance.
Weapon cosmetics can be particularly noticeable during combat, where attack animations and visual effects help define a character's presence. A Halloween-themed weapon can therefore complete a seasonal appearance even if you decide not to get an entire costume collection.
The collection covers eight weapon types associated with the game's available classes:
- Greatsword
- Longsword
- Dagger
- Bow
- Spellbook
- Orb
- Mace
- Staff
Each weapon skin is restricted to the corresponding class that uses that weapon. Players should therefore check their character's class before making a purchase.
The official collection is also worth previewing for its weapon presentation and visual effects. If you enjoy collecting distinctive weapon appearances, compare the available designs with your character's current equipment before deciding which one best fits your style.
5. Pumpkin Carriage and Little Ghost: Bring Halloween Companions Along
Not every Halloween cosmetic needs to be part of your character's outfit. Seasonal companions offer another way to introduce a festive atmosphere into your adventures.
The 2026 collection features two themed pets: Pumpkin Carriage and Little Ghost.
Pumpkin Carriage draws inspiration from one of Halloween's most recognizable symbols. Its pumpkin-themed concept makes it a natural match for players who want a playful seasonal appearance rather than a purely frightening one.
Little Ghost takes a more supernatural approach. Its ghost-inspired theme fits the traditional Halloween atmosphere and complements darker costume collections particularly well.
Both pets provide additional customization possibilities for players who enjoy collecting Aion 2 items. They can also serve as useful visual additions when taking screenshots or showing off a coordinated Halloween look.
The purchase limit listed for each pet is once per server, so check the relevant product details before buying.
6. Spider Wings and Halloween Decorations: Complete Your Look
For Daevas who want to go beyond costumes and pets, the Halloween collection also introduces Spider Wings and a range of themed head and face decorations.
Spider Wings offer a recognizable creepy-crawly motif, making them a potential match for Midnight Slasher or other darker character styles. Alternatively, combining them with a less frightening outfit can create an unusual contrast.
The additional cosmetic options include pumpkin-inspired headwear, Frankenstein-themed details, face bandages, face paint, ghost tattoos, vampire-inspired decorations, and other Halloween-themed accessories.
These smaller items are worth considering because they let you personalize your character without necessarily committing to a full costume set.
For example, a pumpkin-themed accessory can create a lighthearted Halloween appearance, while blood-inspired face paint and vampire decorations can reinforce a darker gothic theme.
Players who enjoy experimenting with character customization should preview different combinations before deciding which items to collect. Sometimes a small accessory can become the defining feature of an otherwise familiar appearance.
Halloween Cosmetic Prices and Availability
For players deciding which items deserve priority, understanding the listed prices and purchase limits is an important part of planning.
The following prices are based on the published PURPLE Store listings. Prices and purchasing conditions may differ across storefronts or regions.
Halloween cosmetic Listed price Important details Monarch of Blood costume set $29.99 Six-piece collection Midnight Witch costume set $29.99 Five-piece collection Midnight Slasher costume set $29.99 Five-piece collection Halloween Night weapon skin $11.99 Restricted to the corresponding class Pumpkin Carriage pet $19.99 Once per server Little Ghost pet $19.99 Once per server Spider Wings $19.99 Once per character Selected head and face decorations 300 Quna each Individual cosmetic items The listed Halloween collection sales period runs from October 14 maintenance schedule until November 24–25 maintenance period, depending on the region. Players should check the current in-game shop for the exact local deadline and final purchasing conditions.
Players planning to collect several Halloween cosmetics may also want to consider their overall in-game budget before making a purchase. If you need additional currency for other in-game expenses, searching for Aion 2 gold for sale may be one option to explore. Just make sure to review the available offers and consider your spending priorities before deciding how to allocate your resources.
How to Choose Your Aion 2 Halloween Style?
With several different cosmetic categories available, choosing a theme first can make your collection more cohesive.
- For a gothic character: Start with Monarch of Blood and explore complementary dark or vampire-inspired decorations.
- For a magical appearance: Choose Midnight Witch and coordinate the rest of your character's look around its mysterious theme.
- For a horror-inspired character: Consider Midnight Slasher, then explore suitable weapon skins and unsettling face decorations.
- For a playful Halloween look: Pumpkin Carriage, pumpkin-themed headwear, and other festive accessories provide an alternative to darker costumes.
- For weapon collectors: Review Halloween Night designs for your class before choosing a costume. A distinctive weapon appearance can become the centerpiece of your seasonal look.
Remember that the best combination is the one you genuinely enjoy using. You do not need to collect every item to participate in the Halloween atmosphere.
Final Thoughts: Get Ready for Halloween in Aion 2
Aion 2 2026 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK brings together gothic costumes, witch-inspired fashion, horror-themed outfits, seasonal weapon skins, spooky pets, Spider Wings, and additional decorations. Each category offers a different way to customize your Daeva and celebrate Halloween in Atreia.
Monarch of Blood is suited to players who prefer dark elegance, Midnight Witch offers a mysterious supernatural style, and Midnight Slasher embraces a more frightening aesthetic. Meanwhile, Halloween Night weapon skins and themed companions provide additional options for players who want a smaller seasonal change.
Before purchasing anything, review the available designs, check your class restrictions, and confirm the local sales deadline. Planning your look in advance can help you focus on the cosmetics that best match your character rather than collecting items simply because they are seasonal.
With pumpkins and Halloween decorations appearing throughout the main city, now is a good time to explore the official Aion 2 Halloween Selection LOOKBOOK, experiment with different combinations, and prepare a distinctive appearance for the season.

Aion 2 Combat Stats Explained: What Every Stat Really Does & How to Build Your Character?
When I first started looking closely at Aion 2 combat stats, I quickly realized that the hardest part was not finding a list of stats. The real problem was understanding what each stat actually does.
Aion 2 has a surprisingly large number of offensive and defensive stats, and several of them sound almost interchangeable. Attack, Max Attack, Attack Bonus, Critical Hit, Critical Damage, Accuracy, Combat Speed, Weapon Damage Boost, Multi-hit, Smite, Penetration, Might, and Precision can all influence combat performance, but they do not necessarily affect damage in the same way.
That distinction matters.
If I simply stack the stats that look strongest on paper, I may end up with a character that has impressive numbers but performs worse in actual combat. Even more importantly, I would not assume that a Korean or Taiwan servers gives me the exact stat targets I need for Global version of Aion 2.
So in this guide, I want to break down the most important Aion 2 combat stats in simple terms, explain how I think about their value, and highlight what Global players should watch before copying existing stat builds.

Aion 2 Combat Stats: Why They Are Harder Than They Look?
The first thing I learned is that Aion 2 does not treat every offensive stat as a simple percentage increase to the same damage number.
Some stats improve the foundation of my attacks. Others increase critical frequency, critical damage, attack frequency, accuracy, or the effectiveness of specific damage interactions.
This means two characters with similar Attack values can still have very different real-world DPS.
For example, I might have a high Attack value but poor Accuracy. If my attacks frequently miss or fail to connect effectively against a target, that additional Attack is not providing as much practical value as the character sheet suggests.
The same principle applies to Combat Speed. A stat that does not directly look like damage can still produce more damage over time if it allows me to complete my rotation faster and perform more actions during a limited combat window.
That is why I prefer to evaluate Aion 2 stats based on actual combat output rather than the size of an individual number.
Combat Stats Explained
Attack: The Basic Offensive Foundation
Attack is one of the easiest Aion 2 combat stats to understand because it represents a fundamental part of my offensive power.
If I am comparing two pieces of gear and one provides a meaningful increase to Attack, it is naturally tempting to choose it immediately.
However, I would not treat Attack as the only offensive stat that matters.
Attack works as part of a larger damage system. Once I begin adding other offensive bonuses, critical stats, penetration, weapon-related bonuses, and combat-speed effects, the relative value of another point of Attack can change.
In other words, Attack is important, but more Attack does not automatically mean best possible build.
Max Attack vs. Attack Bonus
These two stats are particularly easy to confuse.
Max Attack and Attack Bonus may both appear to increase offensive power, but players should not assume that they are simply two names for the same effect.
Max Attack relates to the upper end of my attack range, while Attack Bonus functions as another offensive modifier within the game's combat calculations.
This distinction becomes increasingly important when I compare different gear pieces or build paths.
Critical Hit vs. Critical Damage
This is another pair of stats that should never be treated as identical.
Critical Hit affects how frequently I land critical attacks.
Critical Damage affects how much damage those critical attacks deal when they happen.
That creates an important relationship between the two.
If my Critical Hit chance is low, stacking huge amounts of Critical Damage may not produce the results I expect because I simply do not crit often enough.
On the other hand, once my critical rate becomes reliable, additional Critical Damage can become considerably more valuable.
For that reason, I would evaluate Critical Hit and Critical Damage together rather than treating either one as an isolated stat.
A build with balanced critical performance can often be more practical than one that heavily over-invests in only one side.
Accuracy: The Stat I Would Not Ignore
Accuracy is one of the easiest stats to undervalue because it does not look as exciting as Critical Hit or Critical Damage.
But in actual combat, consistency matters.
If an attack misses, the theoretical damage attached to that attack does not matter.
This becomes even more important when fighting enemies with stronger defensive or avoidance mechanics. A character with excellent offensive stats can lose a significant amount of effective DPS if too many attacks fail to connect properly.
That is why I would never evaluate my build exclusively through maximum theoretical damage.
I care about reliable damage.
For progression content, bosses, tougher enemies, and any situation where missing attacks has a meaningful cost, Accuracy can become one of the most practical offensive stats available.
Combat Speed: More Than Just Faster Attacks
Combat Speed is another stat that deserves more attention.
At first glance, it may look like a quality-of-life stat because it makes combat feel faster. But its impact can go much further than that.
If Combat Speed allows me to execute abilities more quickly, shorten parts of my rotation, or fit additional actions into the same combat period, it can indirectly increase my total damage output.
This is especially interesting for classes that depend heavily on skill rotations.
For example, imagine I have a fixed damage window against a boss. If additional Combat Speed lets me squeeze another meaningful action into that window, the value of the stat is not simply my character attacks faster. It becomes more actions completed over the same amount of time.
That is why I would test Combat Speed in actual rotations rather than judging it purely from the character sheet.
Weapon Damage Boost vs. Other Damage Bonuses
Weapon Damage Boost is one of the more interesting offensive stats because it should not automatically be treated as another version of ordinary Damage Boost.
The important question is where the bonus applies within the combat calculation.
If I already have a large amount of another offensive bonus, adding more of the same type may not provide the same practical improvement as introducing a different modifier.
Weapon Damage Boost can therefore remain attractive even when I already have a strong collection of other offensive stats.
For players comparing gear, this is another reason why simply adding all visible percentages together can produce misleading conclusions.
Multi-hit: More Opportunities to Deal Damage
Multi-hit introduces another layer to Aion 2's combat system.
Rather than simply making one individual hit larger, Multi-hit can create additional damage occurrences under the appropriate conditions.
This makes it particularly interesting for builds that already have strong attack frequency or skills capable of benefiting from additional hits.
However, I would still avoid assuming that Multi-hit is automatically the best stat for every class.
Its real value depends on how the class's skills interact with it and how frequently the additional hit effect can contribute meaningful damage.
Smite: Why One Trigger Can Matter?
Smite is another stat that caught my attention because its potential impact is very different from simply increasing a base Attack number.
When Smite triggers, it can effectively create another full-damage occurrence.
That makes the stat particularly interesting for sustained combat and builds capable of generating enough opportunities for the effect to matter.
The key word here is trigger.
A theoretical maximum is not necessarily the same as consistent real-world DPS. I would therefore evaluate Smite based on actual combat logs, repeated testing, and the specific class rather than assuming its value from the tooltip alone.
Positional Bonuses: Free Damage If I Can Maintain Them
Positional bonuses add another layer to Aion 2 combat optimization.
If my class can consistently attack from the required position, a positional bonus can become a very efficient source of additional damage.
But there is an important trade-off.
A theoretical positional bonus is worth less if maintaining the required position causes me to lose attacks, interrupt my rotation, or spend too much time repositioning.
For that reason, I would distinguish between:
- Theoretical DPS
- Stationary-target DPS
- Real encounter DPS
The last one is what ultimately matters.
Penetration, Might, and Precision
The more advanced part of Aion 2 gearing begins when I start looking at stats such as Penetration, Might, and Precision.
Penetration is particularly important when enemy defenses become substantial. Rather than simply increasing my raw offensive number, it can help my attacks perform more effectively against defensive values.
Might and Precision should also be considered as part of the broader combat-stat system instead of assuming that their value is identical to Attack or Accuracy.
This is where I think many players can make a mistake: they see several offensive-looking stats and assume they all scale the same way.
They do not necessarily do so.
The more complicated my gear becomes, the more important it is to understand which part of the combat formula each stat affects.
Why I Would Not Copy Korean or Taiwan Stat Targets?
This is probably the most important point for Global Aion 2 players.
I would absolutely use Korean and Taiwan player data to understand how the combat system works. Existing regional communities can provide extremely useful information about stat priorities, gearing, testing methods, and class performance.
But I would be careful about copying their exact numbers.
Global version can have differences in item values, gear progression, stat scaling, balance, and progression pacing.
That means a Korean build saying that a particular stat reaches its ideal breakpoint at a certain value does not automatically mean the same breakpoint applies to Global.
The underlying mechanic may be similar while the actual number is different.
For me, that creates a simple rule:
Use other regions to understand the system. Use Global data to determine the numbers.
Once permanent Global servers are fully established and players have access to a larger amount of endgame gear and combat data, it should become much easier to verify these breakpoints.
How to Determine Combat Stats Priorities in Aion 2?
Rather than following one universal stat priority list, I would build my character around five questions:
1. Can my attacks consistently connect?
If the answer is no, Accuracy may be more valuable than another small offensive increase.
2. Am I actually critting often enough?
If I have insufficient Critical Hit, stacking Critical Damage may not deliver the expected results.
3. Can I maintain my rotation?
If Combat Speed significantly improves my rotation, its value may be much higher than its description suggests.
4. Does my class benefit from additional damage events?
This is where Multi-hit and Smite become particularly interesting.
5. Am I fighting enemies with meaningful defenses?
If defensive values become important, Penetration may gain significant value compared with simply stacking another generic offensive stat.
This approach is much safer than following a rigid best stats list.
Before optimizing those stats, however, I also need to make sure my character has enough resources to keep upgrading gear and testing different setups. For players who want to speed up that process, it can be useful to buy Aion 2 Kinah online and use the extra in-game currency for gear upgrades, consumables, or other progression needs. This can make it easier to experiment with different stat combinations instead of committing all resources to a single build too early.
The Best Aion 2 Stat Build May Change With Your Content
I also do not think there will be one permanent best Aion 2 combat-stat build for every situation.
My ideal setup for leveling may not be the same as my setup for PvE bosses.
Likewise, a build optimized for sustained single-target damage may perform differently from one designed around fast clearing, PvP encounters, or highly mobile fights.
That is why I would separate my gearing goals by content instead of trying to create one character sheet that theoretically does everything.
The best stat combination is ultimately the one that improves my actual performance in the content I play most.
Final Thoughts: Understand the Formula before Chasing Numbers
The biggest lesson I take from Aion 2's combat stats is that the game rewards understanding more than blindly following a spreadsheet.
Attack, Max Attack, Attack Bonus, Critical Hit, Critical Damage, Accuracy, Combat Speed, Weapon Damage Boost, Multi-hit, Smite, Penetration, Might, Precision, and positional bonuses all have different roles.
Some increase direct offensive power. Some improve consistency. Some create additional damage events. Others become more valuable when enemy defenses or combat conditions change.
Therefore, rather than focusing solely on which stat is the strongest, you should ask: what does this stat actually change, and how does it affect the damage I'm dealing in practice?
For Global players, this distinction is even more important. Regional guides can explain the mechanics and provide useful build ideas, but exact stat breakpoints should be treated as references until they are confirmed with Global gear and combat data.
As Aion 2's Global progression develops, I expect the community to produce better testing data, clearer breakpoints, and more reliable class-specific stat priorities.
Until then, understanding what every combat stat actually does is a much better starting point than simply copying somebody else's build.

Aion 2 Best Classes for Farming Kinah: All Classes Ranked by Solo Efficiency
Kinah is the core in-game currency in Aion 2. From equipment enhancement and consumable acquisition to inventory expansion, almost every aspect of progression requires a significant amount of Kinah. Therefore, maximizing Kinah acquisition efficiency is a crucial question for every player.
Aion 2 global version currently features 8 classes, each with its own characteristics in terms of damage output, survivability, and resource consumption. However, the class with the highest damage output doesn't necessarily yield the highest Kinah earnings.
To efficiently earn Aion 2 Kinah, besides monster-clearing speed, you also need to consider solo farming stability, equipment investment, and daily resource costs. Next, we will compare the overall farming efficiency of each class in solo farming scenarios to help players find the most suitable class for earning currency.
Evaluation Criteria

Before entering the class rankings, we need to clarify the evaluation criteria. After all, high DPS doesn't necessarily equate to high farming efficiency. Classes truly suited for gold farming need to strike a balance between mob clearing speed, survivability, and resource consumption.
First, mob clearing efficiency. A class's ability to quickly kill regular monsters, its availability of useful AoE skills, and the sustainability of its skill rotation all affect the number of mobs cleared per unit of time.
Second, survivability and sustain. When solo farming, frequent healing, resource replenishment, or returning to the combat area increases wasted time. Classes that can reliably handle multiple targets and minimize combat interruptions are often better suited for long-term farming.
Third, gear requirements and costs. Some classes may require higher gear levels to maximize their damage output. If early investment and daily expenses are high, even faster mob clearing speeds may not guarantee higher net profits.
Kinah Farming Class Ranking
No. 1 Gladiator
Gladiators use greatswords and plate armor, combining high damage with excellent survivability, making them the most consistently performing melee class in the current PvE environment.
The Gladiator's core advantage in clearing mobs lies in its area-of-effect attacks - Crushing Wave and Wave Armor can quickly clear large groups of monsters, while Leaping Slam's cooldown reset specialization allows it to immediately jump to the next target after killing an enemy, greatly reducing map travel time.
In terms of survivability, the Gladiator's plate armor and high health provide ample room for error when enduring multiple monster attacks. Some skills also have life steal effects, further enhancing its sustained combat capability.
No. 2 Spiritmaster
The Spiritmaster is a class in Aion 2 that combines excellent damage, summons, control skills, and ranged combat capabilities. Its core mechanic is summoning elemental spirits to assist in combat. Players can output damage from a relatively safe distance, while the summons act as the frontline, significantly reducing the direct pressure on the main character.
In terms of mob clearing efficiency, Spiritmaster uses elemental stacking to charge Elemental Fusion for high burst damage, allowing for rapid clearing of groups of enemies. Its rich control methods also provide ample room to respond to dangerous encounters.
No. 3 Ranger
The Ranger is currently widely recognized as the most efficient class for purely automatic monster farming. Rangers are abundant in popular farming areas, and their ranged advantage works exceptionally well with the game's automation system. Their biggest advantage lies in their range - melee classes need to constantly run to the next target, while Rangers can stand still and lock onto and attack monsters the moment they spawn. This makes a significant difference in efficiency over long periods of farming.
Rangers also excel in sustained damage, with fast kill speed and no reliance on long cooldown skill rotations, resulting in very short combat downtime.
Furthermore, the Ranger's making-shoot skill provides a flexible combat style that combines movement and debuffs, with a low skill ceiling, making it easy for beginners to pick up. Their weakness lies in their lower single-target burst damage against high-health monsters compared to the classes mentioned above, requiring longer periods of sustained damage output.
No. 4 Sorcerer

Sorcerers use spellbook for ranged magic attacks, possessing extremely high area-of-effect damage and burst capabilities, consistently ranking high on PvE damage charts. The core of Sorcerer's monster-farming ability lies in its efficient AoE clearing in dense monster hordes - Hellfire and Firestorm can eliminate large numbers of regular monsters in a short time.
However, Sorcerer is a typical glass cannon - extremely low health, limited mobility while casting, and high MP consumption. If gear is insufficient to kill monsters before they get close, the survival pressure will increase dramatically.
Therefore, Sorcerer is more suitable for players with better gear and who can handle a higher level of skill, with a clear advantage in low-level or densely populated monster areas.
No. 5 Assassin
In Kinah farming, Assassin's advantage lies in burst damage and mobility. If the target's health is low, a quick combo can end the fight, offering a chance for decent single-target farming efficiency. However, melee combat means it needs to frequently approach enemies and is more vulnerable to concentrated attacks when facing multiple monsters.
Furthermore, Assassin's actual performance is significantly affected by gear, skill rotation, and player skill. If kills cannot be completed quickly, frequent repositioning and taking damage can lower overall efficiency. Therefore, this class is more suitable for players who enjoy high-mobility gameplay and are willing to invest time in mastering combos.
No. 6 Templar
The Templar is a melee class specializing in defense, survivability, and threat management, possessing strong damage mitigation capabilities. Compared to classes that pursue maximum damage output, Templar's main value lies in stability, allowing them to withstand more damage in combat and reduce time loss due to accidental deaths.
For solo farming, strong defensive capabilities increase the margin for error in prolonged battles, especially when facing powerful monsters. However, their kill speed is relatively slow, resulting in longer farming rounds.
No. 7 Chanter
The Chanter is a class that combines melee attacks, buffs, and support abilities, characterized by enhancing their own and their teammates' combat performance through skills. However, these advantages are not fully realized in solo farming scenarios.
The Chanter's farming efficiency needs to be evaluated in conjunction with skill usage preferences. If their buff skills can effectively increase their own damage output or help reduce recovery time, they may gain an advantage in long-term monster farming. Conversely, if support skills consume a significant amount of combat time, and the actual damage output is insufficient to compensate for this cost, overall efficiency may be affected.
No. 8 Cleric
Cleric focuses on support abilities such as healing and resurrection, aiming to provide survival for others. Therefore, it is not particularly effective in solo environments and is a pure support class in Aion 2.
How to Choose a Class for Farming Kinah?
For beginners or players with average gear, prioritize classes with stable survivability, reasonable operational burden, and manageable gear requirements. Gladiator and Spiritmaster have a clear advantage in this regard - Gladiator's armor and high health provide a very high margin for error, while Spiritmaster's summons allow players to deal damage from a safe distance.
For players who prefer ranged solo farming, Ranger is currently the safest choice. Its auto-farming efficiency is leading, and its gear requirements are relatively mild. If you prioritize the speed of clearing mobs in a wide area, Sorcerer performs unparalleled in densely populated monster areas, but you need to be prepared for a significant investment in gear and a high level of skill.
Besides class, farming route is equally important; the same class can perform drastically differently in different areas. Monster density, respawn rate, movement distance, and competition all affect the effective return per unit of time. Choosing a farming route that suits you can sometimes provide a greater boost than changing classes.

Aion 2 Server Transfers Feature is Now Live! Free Moves, Rules & What to Do before Switching?
Aion 2 server transfers are scheduled to begin after maintenance on October 14, 2026, giving Early Access players their first opportunity to move characters to another eligible server. For anyone who started playing on a crowded server, chose a different world from their friends, or wants to find a more active community, this is an important opportunity to reconsider where to play.
The biggest attraction is that the initial server transfer costs 0 Quna, and transferring multiple eligible characters in one application is possible. However, this does not mean every player can move to any server at any time.
The transfer window is divided by server type, each account can use the transfer service only once during the event, and additional character slots on the destination server may cost Quna. Server Storage also requires special attention because its contents will not automatically move with your characters.
Personally, I would not rush to transfer simply because the service is becoming available. I would first check whether my current server is genuinely holding back my progress, confirm where my friends and Legion members are playing, and prepare everything before submitting the request. Here is what I would consider before making the move.

Aion 2 Server Transfer Dates and Schedule
The first thing to understand is that Aion 2 Global server transfers are being introduced in two separate phases and lasts for two weeks.
- October 14–21: Early Access servers
- October 21–28: Regular Launch servers
October 14 is the start of Early Access transfer period in European calendar, not the opening date for every server.
Players on regular Launch servers, however, will need to wait until October 21 to begin transferring.
Actual availability also depends on your region’s daily application hours and whether the departure and destination servers have available transfer capacity. Check the in-game transfer interface and the latest official notices before planning around a specific hour.
This distinction matters if you have friends waiting on a different server group. An Early Access character cannot simply move to a Regular Launch server during the first phase.
For players who are already eligible, I would use the first few days to evaluate the destination rather than choosing a server at random. A free transfer is valuable, but the account-wide limit makes the decision more consequential than it might initially appear.
Is Aion 2 Server Transfer Really Free?
Yes. Under the announced transfer offer, the base service costs 0 Quna, and there is no separate Quna charge for each character transferred. However, there is one important exception: you may need to pay for additional character slots if your destination server does not have enough room for all the characters you want to move. Each additional slot costs 1,000 Quna.
For example, imagine that I want to transfer four characters to a destination server with enough available slots. The transfer itself would cost 0 Quna. If I wanted to transfer six characters but the destination had only four available slots, I would need two extra slots, costing 2,000 Quna in total.
This is why I would check the character roster on the destination server before applying. If I have several characters that I want to keep together, I need to consider the full roster rather than focusing only on my main character.
There is another important detail: the free transfer is limited to one application per account during the event. Multiple eligible characters can move together in that application, but this is not an unlimited opportunity to transfer characters repeatedly between different servers.
In practical terms, I would treat the free transfer as a chance to choose a better long-term home, not as an experiment that I can easily reverse the next day.
What Can You Transfer in Aion 2?
Before switching servers, I would separate the items and resources that travel with my character from those that remain on the original server.
The announced transfer rules allow character progression and eligible character-associated assets to move with the character. However, Server Storage does not automatically transfer, so leaving valuable items there could create an unpleasant surprise after the move.
Here is the preparation checklist I would follow:
- Character progression: Check the status of your character and make sure it meets the transfer requirements.
- Inventory: Review the items carried by your character and make sure everything you need is properly organized.
- Character Storage: Move the resources you want to keep into storage associated with the character, where applicable.
- Server Storage: Retrieve anything valuable that you intend to take with you. Do not assume shared server storage will follow you.
- Currencies and Kinah: Check which currencies are eligible to transfer and where they are held before submitting the request. Since your available resources can affect how smoothly you continue progressing after the move, make sure your Aion 2 Kinah and other valuable assets are properly organized. If you expect to spend Kinah on equipment, consumables, or other progression needs after arriving on the destination server, review your budget before transferring.
- Character name: Be prepared to select a character name again after moving.
The most important step is emptying Server Storage of anything you cannot afford to leave behind. I would do this before worrying about smaller inventory optimizations because forgetting a valuable item is an entirely avoidable problem.
I would also check the current official transfer guide for any additional restrictions involving mail, marketplace listings, shop storage, active activities, or other character states. Meeting the level requirement alone does not necessarily guarantee that a transfer request will be accepted.
Aion 2 Server Transfer Requirements: What Can Stop You From Moving?
A free transfer does not mean unrestricted server selection. Aion 2 Global has several eligibility rules that determine where a character can move.
1. You Must Stay Within the Same Region
Server transfers are restricted to eligible servers within your current region. A character on a North American server cannot use this service to move directly to a European or Asian server.
This is particularly important for players who have friends in different regions. Before making plans, confirm the actual region of the destination server rather than relying only on its name.
2. You Must Stay With the Same Faction
Elyos characters must remain on eligible Elyos servers, while Asmodian characters must remain on eligible Asmodian servers. Server transfer is not a way to switch factions.
If your friends play for the opposing faction, moving servers will not solve that particular problem.
3. Early Access and Regular Launch Servers Are Separate
Early Access characters can transfer only to other eligible Early Access servers during the first phase. Regular Launch servers have their own transfer window in the following week.
I would confirm the server category before deciding where to go. Otherwise, I could spend time preparing for a move that the transfer system does not permit yet.
4. Your Character Must Meet the Minimum Level Requirement
Characters must be at least level 10 to qualify under the announced rules. If your character is below that threshold, you should reach the required level before attempting to transfer.
5. You Must Leave Your Legion Before Transferring
If your character is still a member of a Legion, you should leave it before submitting the transfer request. Players planning to move together should coordinate this step in advance so that they do not disrupt their group’s plans.
6. You Must Be Ready to Choose Your Name Again
Do not assume your existing character name will remain unchanged. You should be prepared to select a name again after transferring, subject to the name-selection process and availability.
These restrictions are worth reviewing before you commit to a destination. The transfer interface and the official Q&A remain the best places to confirm your character’s eligibility and any additional conditions.
How to Decide Whether You Should Transfer Servers?
For me, the real question is not whether a free server transfer sounds attractive. It is whether changing servers will improve my everyday Aion 2 experience enough to justify using the account’s transfer opportunity.
Transfer if Your Friends Are Playing Somewhere Else
If I started on one server while my friends created their characters on another, transferring could make it easier to coordinate regular play sessions and build a stable group.
This is especially relevant for players who want to join a familiar community or participate in organized Legion activities. However, I would confirm that everyone is staying on the destination server before making the move. Following one friend to a server where the rest of the group eventually leaves could create the same problem all over again.
Consider Moving if Your Current Server Is Too Crowded
Long queues, inconvenient play sessions, and difficulty finding a comfortable community can all make a server less appealing. If these issues regularly interfere with my available gaming time, I would consider moving to a suitable alternative.
Still, I would not assume that every less-populated server is automatically better. A quieter environment might mean fewer queues, but it could also mean a smaller pool of players for social activities, trading, and organized groups. I would look for a reasonable balance between accessibility and an active community.
Stay if You Mainly Want to Play Cross-Server PvE
There is one reason I would hesitate before transferring: moving servers may not be necessary just to play dungeon content with friends.
Aion 2 supports cross-server activities for eligible instanced content, including dungeons. If my main objective is to enjoy PvE with friends, I would first check whether the activities we want to complete are already available across servers. If they are, I might be better off keeping my current character and avoiding an unnecessary move.
In other words, I would transfer for a meaningful improvement in my overall experience, not simply because my friends happen to have characters elsewhere.
How to Prepare for Your Aion 2 Server Transfer?
Once I have selected a destination, I would complete the following steps before submitting the request.
Step 1: Confirm the transfer window. Check whether your current server belongs to Early Access or Regular Launch group, and verify the available transfer hours for your region.
Step 2: Choose the destination. Make sure it belongs to the same region and faction and is eligible for transfers from your current server group.
Step 3: Coordinate with friends and your Legion. Confirm the plan with the people you want to play with, and leave your current Legion if required.
Step 4: Organize your assets. Retrieve valuable items from Server Storage, review your inventory and Character Storage, and check the transfer eligibility of your currencies and other resources.
Step 5: Check your character slots. If you are transferring several characters, make sure the destination can accommodate them. Budget for additional slots at 1,000 Quna each if necessary.
Step 6: Review all remaining requirements. Check your character level, current activities, mail, marketplace listings, and other potential restrictions in the official instructions. Do not assume that every character is ready simply because it has reached level 10.
Step 7: Submit the request through the in-game Shop. The announced entry point is Shop → Server Transfer. Follow the instructions shown in the game, verify the destination, and wait for the transfer to complete before attempting to continue playing.
A transfer takes at least one minute and may take longer depending on request volume. Access to the service can also be restricted temporarily, and transfers may fail to proceed if the departure or destination server has reached its capacity limit.
I would not leave this preparation until the final hours of the event. Even if the transfer itself is free, a last-minute problem with storage, character slots, server capacity, or eligibility could prevent me from completing the move as planned.
Final Thoughts: Is October 2026 the Right Time to Change Servers?
Aion 2 server transfers give players an opportunity to reconsider their server choice without paying a base transfer fee during the announced event. For players who want to reunite with friends, join a more suitable community, or leave a server that no longer fits their needs, this is a useful option.
However, the one-transfer-per-account limit means I would approach the decision carefully. I would confirm my destination, check the server restrictions, retrieve anything important from Server Storage, and make sure my characters are eligible before submitting the request.
For Early Access players, the current window runs from after maintenance on October 14 until before maintenance on October 21 in European calendar. Regular Launch players should prepare for their separate window from October 21 to October 28. Always verify the actual opening and closing times for your region in the latest official notice.
My approach would be simple: transfer if it meaningfully improves your social experience or solves a persistent server problem; stay if cross-server activities already give you what you need. A free move is an opportunity, not an obligation.
The most important thing is to choose a server where you can enjoy Aion 2 over the long term, rather than making a rushed decision just because the transfer service has arrived.

Aion 2 Gold Farming Guide 2026 | How to Make Kinah Easily after Global Launch?
In Aion 2 economy, Kinah is the deciding factor for successful enhancement, crafting, and trading. To escape a shortage of funds, players shouldn't just farm blindly without a plan; instead, they need to prioritize specific acquisition methods in 2026 and identify which in-game rewards are tradable.
Bound Kinah vs. Unbound Kinah
New players might be puzzled by the distinction between Bound Kinah and Unbound Kinah, but the concept is simple: Bound Kinah is restricted to character progression and daily expenses; it cannot circulate freely like standard currency.
Unbound Kinah, on the other hand, is the crucial component of your economy; it can be used for marketplace trading or transferred between your own characters (such as from an alt to your main).
Because of this, when checking rewards in Aion 2, you shouldn't just look at the raw amount; you must verify exactly which type of currency is being awarded.
Even if two activities appear to offer a reward of three million Kinah, their actual value can differ significantly.
Establishing this distinction is essential; without it, your gold-farming strategies won't be truly effective.

Expeditions Offer the Most Comprehensive Returns
In the 2026 global version, Expeditions and Transcendence provide players with steady Kinah returns. Sanctuary raids also offer substantial rewards, but they are limited to a single completion per week.
To break it down further: Exploration represents the more casual side of Expeditions, while Conquest offers a greater challenge, featuring both Normal and Hard difficulty settings.
Once your character can reliably clear Conquest, you shouldn't hesitate; prioritize investing your time and effort there.
Conquest allows you to acquire gear, materials, and other Aion 2 items alongside Kinah; even if a specific farming run doesn't yield a massive jackpot, your character still benefits from solid progression.
Additionally, keep a close eye on your Odyle Energy. If it remains at maximum capacity for too long, you are wasting the free energy gained through natural regeneration.
If you want to earn gold, you need to channel Odyle Energy into content that yields useful items.

Bosses with Great Loot
Open-world bosses, Abyss bosses, and similar encounters that yield high-value, tradable items represent a rare and lucrative source of income in the game.
The most direct way to determine if a boss is worth fighting is to check its loot table, a feature available directly in Aion 2, so you don't have to rely on blind luck.
The items players strive to obtain are those of high value, such as Rare Artwork, where pieces with excellent stats can fetch tens of millions or even over a hundred million Kinah.
Furthermore, you shouldn't fight bosses solely for direct Kinah drops; a single high-value drop can often outweigh the rewards of long periods of standard farming.
However, there is a clear downside: high randomness. It is entirely possible to walk away empty-handed ten times in a row, only to secure top-tier gear on the very next attempt.
If your current level and gear are average and you struggle to defeat these bosses, you can also choose to buy Aion 2 gold directly to mitigate the risks associated with combat.
How to Leverage the Market?
One of the easiest ways players lose Kinah is by casually selling unfamiliar items - especially tradable ones - to NPCs. If you've done this, you should change your approach immediately.
Whether dealing with crafting materials, Manastones, Soulstones, Artwork, or dungeon drops, it is always worth quickly checking their current market prices.
Don't just look at the current asking price; consider why it's valued that way. Is it rare? Is supply low? Is it essential for crafting or required for upgrades?
Abyss Supply Requests change weekly, so gear that seems ordinary today could skyrocket in price next week because of a sudden surge in demand.
By learning to read market demand in Aion 2, you can boost your income even when you aren't actively grinding monsters.

Calculate Costs Before Crafting
Crafting is another major avenue for increasing your Kinah income in Aion 2, but you must stop crafting based on guesswork and start calculating your costs.
If the total cost of your crafting materials is 300 million Kinah, but the finished product sells for just over 200 million, you shouldn't proceed with the craft.
You need to check current material prices, calculate the total cost, compare it against the selling price, and determine if the craft is actually profitable. Don't view this as a hassle; it is a reliable way to avoid significant financial losses.
Players in the global version have a strong demand for gear and items that accelerate game progression. Since the crafting landscape in 2026 is highly favorable, pursuing the right strategy can make crafting a very lucrative endeavor.
Don't Underestimate Daily Missions
In Aion 2, daily and weekly missions, daily dungeons, weekly rewards, limited-time events, and other content with clear, resettable rewards offer a source of income that is substantial yet easily overlooked by players.
While they might not instantly plug a hole in your Kinah reserves, they rank number one in the game as a source of stable, low-effort income.
If a mission takes just five to ten minutes to complete and yields Kinah, materials, or other tradeable rewards, it is well worth doing - especially for new players.
Your gameplay routine after logging in should be: complete the daily and weekly missions relevant to you, use up your Odyle Energy, finish your Expeditions, and then decide how to spend the rest of your time.
These are the most reliable gold farming strategies for 2026; if you apply them in Aion 2, your Kinah accumulation will no longer rely on sheer luck. Good luck!

NCSoft Responds as AION 2 Inactivity Policy Sparks Outrage: Can Your Character Really Be Wiped After 6 Months?
For MMORPG veterans, a character isn't just a row in a database. It is a living ledger of late-night raid wipes, hard-won PvP victories, millions of accumulated Aion 2 kinah, rare cosmetic collections, and hundreds of hours of personal investment.
Whether stepping away due to real-life commitments or taking a break between major content cycles, players expect their virtual avatars to wait patiently on the selection screen, exactly where they left them.
Which is why a quiet clause buried inside NCSoft’s official AION 2 Global Operating Policy ignited an immediate firestorm across Reddit, Steam forums, and community Discords.
The fine print states that NCSoft reserves the right to permanently delete character data if an account remains inactive for six months without an active paid subscription. To make matters worse, a companion provision warns that inactive free accounts could have their character names reset in as little as 30 days.

For a flagship title following its massive launch on Steam and PURPLE, the idea that a six-month hiatus could vaporize a player’s digital legacy—and their hard-earned Kinah reserves—sent shockwaves through the community.
What the Fine Print Actually Says
The controversy stems from Section 3 of the AION 2 Long-Term Inactive Account Policy. Under these terms, NCSoft specifies two major operational privileges:
Policy Item Threshold Period Trigger Condition Consequence Character Name Reset 30 Days No active payment history & inactive login status Name stripped; character assigned generic identifier. Irreversible. Full Character Deletion 6 Months Zero account logins & no active paid subscription Permanent wipe of character gear, level progression, Kinah, and stats. Restoration impossible. While NCSoft notes that deletions are not automated and require prior official public announcements before execution, the policy language leaves zero legal recourse once carried out: "Characters and character names deleted under the Long-Term Inactive Account Policy cannot be restored."
NCSoft Fires Back: Safeguard Clause vs. Active Enforcement
As public backlash mounted, NCSoft issued an official clarification on October 12 across its Korean, Taiwanese, and global channels to reassure the community.
According to company representatives, NCSoft has never used the six-month rule to wipe character data in AION 2 and currently holds no active plans to execute mass deletions.
NCSoft explained that the clause exists strictly as a legal safeguard for server database management. In massive online worlds, server infrastructure bloats over time with millions of abandoned, low-level bot accounts created to farm Aion2 Kinah, unused alt characters, and trial profiles created during launch spikes. Retaining explicit legal backing allows server engineers to prune dead weight during major infrastructure migrations or database optimizations without facing legal liability.
Similar clauses exist in operating agreements across the MMORPG industry. In practice, publishers rarely enforce these rules against regular accounts unless an account has been dark for years, with standard protocol requiring multiple advance notices via email and official front-page posts.
Why MMORPG Fans Refuse to Let It Slide
Despite NCSoft’s official statement, players remain cautious—and for valid reasons grounded in MMO history and recent patch updates.
1. Memory of Past Legacy Purges
Part of the reaction stems from past precedents. Veterans of the original AION remember when long-dormant accounts on North American servers were flagged for cleanup. At the time, NCSoft cited database maintenance and backup efficiency for trimming legacy data accumulated over 15 years. While practical from a server architecture standpoint, it left returning players heartbroken to find their childhood characters and vaults of Kinah gone forever.
2. Digital Wealth and Time Investment
In an era where microtransactions, high-end cosmetic wings, and vast stashes of hard-earned Kinah require either hundreds of hours of grinding or direct financial investment, losing a character hits hard. A character isn't just data; it represents a personal bank and a museum of a player's time in Atreia.
3. Recent Launch Maintenance and Deletion Rules
Timing added fuel to the fire. Following server maintenance during AION 2's global release on October 5, NCSoft adjusted the standard in-game character deletion timer—shortening manual player deletion wait times from 168 hours down to 24 hours and lowering the minimum level requirement from Level 10 to Level 1. While meant as a quality-of-life update for rerolling builds early on, it brought the entire topic of character deletion into sharp focus, causing players to scrutinize the fine print for the first time.
4. "A Promise Isn't a Policy"
While current community managers promise the rule won't be used, the clause remains live in the legally binding terms. If leadership changes, server hosting overhead escalates, or policy priorities shift down the road, the legal right to purge inactive accounts remains intact on the books.
How to Protect Your AION 2 Account and Character
If you plan on taking a break from AION 2 without risking your main character or rare character name, consider these preventative habits:
-
Maintain Periodic Logins: Logging into the game client just once resets the inactivity timer instantly across both the 30-day and 6-month provisions.
-
Keep Contact Details Updated: Ensure your NCSoft account is linked to a monitored primary email so you don't miss official notices regarding long-term maintenance or policy enforcement.
-
Verify Account Linking: If playing through Steam, ensure you understand which specific NC account is linked. Unlinking or switching accounts will not carry character data over.
-
Maintain Transaction History: Accounts with documented payment history (such as active subscriptions, battle passes, or cash shop purchases) are exempt from the 30-day name reset and receive higher protection tiers during server purges.
