The final phase of WoW MoP Classic is nearly upon us. Ahead lies the update for five-player dungeons, Challenge Modes, the Legendary quest line, a brand-new island, and - more importantly - a new raid is finally arriving.
Compared to the original Mists of Pandaria, the development team has implemented a large number of changes. The upcoming Pnase 5, featuring Siege of Orgrimmar, might just be the most enjoyable moment of MoP.

Release Date
The developers have announced that phase 5 of WoW MoP Classic will go live on June 2nd. The exact opening time on each server may vary slightly due to maintenance, but this won't affect your overall progress.
The opening of Siege of Orgrimmar raid will be slightly later, and its release is synchronized worldwide:
- PDT: June 4, 2026, 3:00 PM
- EDT: June 4, 2026, 6:00 PM
- BST: June 4, 2026, 11:00 PM
- CEST: June 5, 2026, 12:00 AM
- KST: June 5, 2026, 7:00 AM

If you aim to be among the first to succeed, it would be wise to gather your team in front of the screen and enter the game the moment it becomes available.
Timeless Isle
Timeless Isle is the new zone introduced in Phase 5. This vast area is filled with rare mobs, treasure chests, achievements, mini-games, new factions, world bosses, and much more. Additionally, the island offers a convenient feature: it helps twinks or new players gear up their characters quickly.
Timeless Coins and Bloody Coins
Monsters here have a chance to drop Timeless Coins, which you can trade with Mistweaver Ai for epic items. They also drop BoA tokens that, when used, randomly generate an epic piece of gear. These items have an item level around 496, which is quite decent for new players or alts, but raiding veterans may not find them useful.
High-end players can save up their Timeless Coins to trade for trinkets at item level 535. These trinkets can be upgraded further, offering excellent stats.
Rare monsters on the island respawn relatively quickly, making it a good spot for farming WoW MoP Classic gold - though some rare mobs that drop mounts have much longer respawn timers. Scattered chests not only contain epic gear tokens but are also tied to achievements. Whether you enjoy exploring, hunting monsters, seeking out chests, or playing mini-games, there are plenty of achievements to unlock.
World Bosses
Timeless Isle introduces new world bosses. 4 of them appear in rotation inside the arena at the center of the island. Each player can only participate in defeating one of them per week and receive loot once. Rewards include tier set pieces from the new raid or PvP gear, with an item level of 553.
- Chi-Ji, the Red Crane
- Yu'Lon, the Jade Serpent
- Xuen, the White Tiger
- Niuzao, the Black Ox
Ordos, Fire God of the Yaungol
After you complete Legendary quest line, another world boss, Ordos, becomes accessible in the northern part of Timeless Isle. Ordos drops items at item level 559, but these are not tier pieces.
Related to Ordos is a faction from which you can acquire an item called Censer of Eternal Agony. Using it makes you hostile to other players on the island (including those from your own faction), automatically turning on PvP mode. While in this state, defeating enemy players allows you to collect Bloody Coins, which can be exchanged for special rewards.
Legendary Quest Line
The final form of Legendary cloak is now obtainable. First, seek out the prince, who will send you to Timeless Isle. You will need to collect 5,000 Timeless Coins and then defeat each of the 4 rotating world bosses to complete the quest.
It is advisable to push forward with this step as early as possible. Although the bosses appear on a rotation, it is easy to form groups when many players are active right after the phase launches. Once the initial rush subsides, finding a team may become more difficult.
Siege of Orgrimmar Raid
Siege of Orgrimmar is the centerpiece of Phase 5. It is one of the finest raids ever designed in WoW, with each boss featuring highly engaging mechanics.
However, the developers have announced that the flexible raid difficulty and its associated gear will not be included. As a result, players face a large item level gap: from Timeless Isle (496), to Temple of the Jade Serpent (528), and then to Normal difficulty raid gear (553).
Temple of the Jade Serpent dungeon requires only item level 435 to enter yet rewards gear at item level 528. Timeless Isle gear starts at item level 496. If you are in a hurry to catch up, farming gear in Temple of the Jade Serpent dungeon will be more efficient.
Transmogrification System
The transmogrification system added in Phase 5 allows you to view your existing sets more clearly. These sets are crucial for a new feature: you can assign each transmog set to automatically trigger in specific areas of the world.
You can swap sets based on whether you are riding a ground or flying mount, according to your class specialization, at different times of day, or even depending on whether it is raining. The system is more powerful than ever.
After WoW MoP Phase 5
The development team has not yet announced any plans beyond Phase 5, but players need not be pessimistic. Phase 5 will last a long time, and players may have to wait until BlizzCon 2026 for any official announcements. As for speculation on the future direction of WoW Classic servers, Warlords of Draenor is perhaps the most likely option.
That concludes all the information about Phase 5. Although most players are currently focused on WoW TBC Classic Anniversary, Siege of Orgrimmar raid is definitely worth your time to experience.
