During the 7-day Research Stamps event, players will have the opportunity to encounter the following Pokémon:
- Galarian Mr. Mime
- Lapras
- Snorlax
- Honedge
- Sinistea
- Dreepy
Except for Honedge and Dreepy, the other Pokémon have a chance to appear as Shiny Pokémon.

Players will receive one additional special trade per day, for a total of two per day. The chance of obtaining Stardust is increased on the first catch of the day.
The number of raids will be higher during Precious Paths season. In raid battles, friendship bonus damage is increased when fighting with friends, making it easier to defeat bosses.

- Los Angeles Rose Bowl: February 22-24, 2026.
- Tainan, Taiwan: February 22-24, 2026.
In addition to regional events, there will be events open to players worldwide on February 28 and March 1. The official GO Tour global ticket will be reintroduced for the first time in three years, while previous global events were free. If you hold a ticket this year, you will receive some additional benefits, such as an increased encounter rate for Shiny Pokémon.
In addition, Master Ball is returning. Master Ball special research takes $8 and never expires.

Precious Paths season will also introduce new Pokémon and new Dynamax battles. Defeating these Dynamax Pokémon gives you a chance to catch them.

- Hitmonchan Dynamax (New)

Go Pass rewards are similar to the previous season. Reaching certain milestones unlocks additional buffs, helping you effectively reduce your Pokemon Go PokeCoin consumption.

Game Features And Updates
Weekly Challenge, originally planned for last season but delayed due to a bug, is likely to be implemented this season. Pokéstop showcases are expected to be held twice a week this season.
Players can also obtain seasonal themed stickers through trading in the shop, opening gifts, or spinning Pokéstops.
Go Battle League
The new Go Battle League season begins on December 2nd at 1 PM PDT. If you participated in PvP last season, remember to use star pieces to increase your stardust before claiming rewards. The switch timer will remain active for 45 seconds, and this setting also applies to Team GO Rocket battles.
Each page of Go Battle League Pass requires winning 100 battles to unlock all rewards. Rewards include Rare Candy XL, Elite Fast TM, and Elite Charge TM. Upon reaching Legend level, you'll receive a special pose from Grusha, Glaseado Gym Leader from Pokémon Red and Purple.
Pokémon Move Updates
- Lucario gains Meteor Mash, making Mega Lucario the strongest Steel-type Mega in the game.
- Mega Blaziken gains Aura Sphere, making it the strongest Fighting-type attacker.
- Kyogre The addition of Avalanche makes its Primal form more difficult to deal with in raid battles, as it can counter Grass-type Pokémon with Ice-type moves.
- Viridion gains Fury Cutter and Sacred Sword, making it a good choice against Dark-type Pokémon.
- Suicune gains Water Gun, making it one of the best Water-type tank Pokémon in Dynamax battles.
However, the new additions this season, such as Gigantamax Meowth, Dynamax Hitmon Lee, and Hitmonchan, are not expected to perform well in PvP or raid battles, lacking powerful Pokémon that can revolutionize gameplay. Upcoming holiday events and GO Tournament may introduce stronger Pokémon.
That's a general overview of Pokémon Go Precious Paths; the next three months will undoubtedly be busy.
